Played this game for the first time yesterday. It went down so well with my guests and was the best Christmas present I received this year. This game was so entertaining and different and getting to manually build a city was so fun. We found ourselves carrying on building fun structures after the game was over just casually. I tried to make all my cities be the same material just because it looked nicer (and good for the bonus point!) As a city building game this was perfect as we actually got to build a city and found ourselves nervous when moving to add to the city (some fell which resulted in jeers!). Thank you to the developers for a really fun evening, we’re looking to do it again soon!
I picked this up in a charity shop with cards still wrapped in cellophane and I'm bringing it to Geekstraveganza on Sunday afternoon. Looking forward to giving it a spin.
When i see reviews and play guide videos the buildings are mostly just piles of pieces in their sides, not the elegant structures that you show built up on their edges. Are those players breaking rules or doing something wrong / suboptimal?

shoutouts to tokyo jutaku, the game that this game reimplements into an entirely new thing! :>
This looks very fun, unfortunately not the kind of game you'd buy when you have a cat who loves to jump on the table when you play. 😅
Dexterity mechanism for a board game... just sounds dumb and unfun.
There are hundreds like this, apeman.
