very good job pastor I am preparing for my ordination in preparation to minister to those in hospices To help those find him before they meet him is very important indeed
I appreciate The video. It gives me some good insight to our next ordination Service. If I could make one comment there is no such thing as the law of Christ. We are not free from obeying the law. Christ fulfilled the Levitical law. So that has been put out of the way. Did judicial law that is the laws concerning Israel are for Israel and not the church. So those are put out of the way. The moral law or the Mosaic law was held up my Christ as something that not only he for filled on our part but also would have a still obey. When the Scriptures talk about us being free from the law it is referring to the laws power of condemnation over us. As for the Sabbath Christ never reiterated the Sabbath law but became Our Sabbath so that we are continually in his rest and that is how we fulfill that particular commandment.
Thank you for your comment! I recognize that the term law of Christ is not in the Bible. I know the traditional view is to divide the OT law into three parts: legal, ceremonial, and moral. I disagree with this point of view because the Bible refers to the law as a whole. I believe we are under the law as Christ and the NT commands. Israel and the church are both God's people, but I do not believe that they are distinct.
It went for 6 v hours! I have the footage somewhere. At some point I will need to post to help others who are going through the same process. I did the best at this point so I was motived to cut it off here, but I will look next month to post more.
