    'Ministry is acts based on truth, best learned in action' - love this!

    Excellent point. My experience has been similar. Along with others, including the congregations I've served, early on I wrongly assumed my degree qualified me. Fortunately, it prepared me to learn. And yes, it is definitely an action and experience oriented process. I think of Moses'40 years in the wilderness. His burden for his people was not the only necessary qualification to lead. Jesus started his ministry at 30 even though he knew his purpose at 12. I hope this makes sense.

    I was an online ordained minister, I resigned, because I don't think I was called to be a minister. I tried to write a sermon, I couldn't. I can't get my thoughts on paper.

    I get your point. Take me someone who has only gone to seminary and then immediately putting them in the pulpit.As a pastor it's not good for either him or the congregation. The best path is a combination of learning as well apprenticeship.

    That 25-30% readiness you mention is the foundational truths which can be taught by a church but can also be learned at Seminary. They do need to be paired with internships and I do believe an aspiring pastor after seminary should undergo ordination because what the school taught and what he believes could be very different.

    According to the holy scripture
    One must be ordained to preach minister Gods word
    And teach
    Training is needed
    And in church as a layman
    To pastor requires a promise
    Pledge of faith
    A commitment

      A hierarchical "clergy" "laity" divide as well as the solo pastor/priest model is foreign to the apostles' doctrine.
      They were(and we are) to ordain elders and deacons(plural) in every city(singular.)
      Paul, apostle to the Gentiles, left Titus on an island "For this cause."
      "For this cause, left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee." Titus 1:5

    Money makes a pastor we know.
    Pastor we know made themselves pastor by starting there own church and paying tithes to themselves.

    I need to add to what I just said
    Paul ordained bishop and strongly taught God calls those he has chosen
    He ordain and anoint with the holy ghost
    If you go on your own God does not know you
    Like in old testament
    Balaam was a prophet but not from God

    I think the fact is that many seminaries don't see classroom education as "sufficient" - that is why there are many hours dedicated to practicums. Don't scare aspiring ministers away from seminaries - with so many false teaching floating around nowadays, we need more people who know what they're saying and be able to refute these falsehoods, not less!

    What he us saying ordination by a church, leaders in the "context" of the church. In other words ordination by man and he is saying this is biblical? What Bible say? Jer 1:5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." God's ordination is the only true ordination. "We are sanctified and subsequently ordained by the truth They Word is truth". No other ordination is valid.

      Friend, what he stated is correct. Do a diligent study of the office of Elder/Overseer/Pastor in a church of Jesus. Hint, the following passages can be a starting point: Acts 20:28, Acts 14:23, Titus 1:5, 2 Tim 1:6, 1 Tim 4:14, 1 Tim 5:22, 1 Tim 3, Titus 1, 1 Peter 5:1-5. Blessings! (To the speaker in the video: God bless you sir!).

    Protestantism lacks apostolic succession, so they dont have valid ordination, like in the Catholic or Orthodox Churches.

    • @user-gv9my3jy4b
      @user-gv9my3jy4b 6 місяців тому

      Conversely and far more importantly, apostolic succession is a made man concept, just like Marion dogmas and icon veneration, that catholic and EO have painted themselves into a corner with and now cannot admit they are bogus, because the entire then crumbles. This is just a fact.. peter was not a pope and Matthew 16 is not about Peter, it's about Jesus. You need more Bible schooling like those protestants have! 😊

      And I don't think the guys who compiled the Bible (Catholic under the papacy of Saint Damasus I) need Bible Schooling. It is like telling Bill Gates to go and read Microsoft History, kind of silly argument.

    • @ONEFAITHofJESUS
      @ONEFAITHofJESUS 2 місяці тому

      Succession in truth belongs only to those who continue steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine, from the time of Christ until He comes.
      True succession, ie,
      ., continuing steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine, disqualifies what the world has been deceived into thinking of as "the church."

    • @ONEFAITHofJESUS
      @ONEFAITHofJESUS 2 місяці тому

      Protestantism is just watered down catholicism/catholic lite -all worldly confusion.
      The name "protestant" was derived because they were protesting "their" church.
      True Christians, most initially being Jewish Christians, existed long before anyone heard of a roman hierarchy and all of the blasphemy and Babylonian slavery it produces.

    Tell me sir! Why wouldn't do this a.i. speech in front of your congregation and film it all at once? Would it not have a stronger meaning? Your empty benches behind you is not showing the strength of god in what you speak! ADX8💔😎
