Wow, those are damned expensive machines. I sure wanted some of them years ago, but I couldn't find them for an affordable price. You are so lucky, lucky, lucky. Great machines.

I think people try sell the 2006 macbook pro for around $100 in 2022/2023. Not sure where you live, but I guess it just depends on what the used mac market is like near you :-)

I loved the 2006 MacBook Pro, it was my main machine about 7 years ago, then the graphics card died, a common issue with these models. Rip to my first Mac (actually it was my second, I started with an iBook G4 but it wasn't really usable for everyday tasks in 2014/2015)

What macs did you get?
@@QuinsTechCorner 15" AL Powerbook and a 17" model. Bought both as untested, both booted. I even managed to bypass the passwords, which was fun. Stuck in time iTunes accounts and music from the 2000s through to about 2012. I bought a 15" in 2004 and later sold it on and bought the 17" Macbook Pro. To be honest, my 2015 Macbook Pro is the best machine I've owned. 7 years of great performance so far. But fun to play with the old PPC ones. Will try Sorbet Leopard.
Hi. I have a 2007 A1226 that you can have. It has no video but it might be useful for you. I bought it cheaply for parts/repair but aren't that good at diagnosing the issue. It's missing the external screws but appears intact. You might be able to make one working from the two. Anyway it's yours if you want it? cheers
