FUEL Series 30 Min DUMBBELL CARDIO Workout - Giant Sets | Day 5

- Some smooth transitions that will really zone in on the same muscle group per set but challenge you cardiovascularly throughout! And yes... a sweaty one absolutely! 😅👊🏼
The timer will be on for 30 seconds per exercise with the giant set! We then have 30 seconds rest in-between each giant set!
The dumbbells I am using throughout for your reference are 2 x 10kg each.
Aside from dumbbells, you will simply need your mat and something to step up onto with only your bodyweight (no weights in hand) and for decline push ups!
The box I am using is approximately 50cm (20 inches) in height. A sturdy chair or stepper is perfect!

Man! EVERY SINGLE DAY of the first week i have cried after every video. These are hard and challenging, but there is no better feeling than showing up for YOURSELF and building that trust with yourself to follow through with a plan, with a goal, with a 30 minite workout. Just stick with it! Just do what you can! The most imporatant part is that you stick with it! Pause the video if you have to, drop the weights if you have to, just build that trust with yourself and then work up from there. I’m 7 months postpartum and 1 month out of cancer treatment - I don’t have a gym with a nursery near me and your workouts have been a perfect fit for me- I’m challenged but feel so mentally strong and good after finishing. I really appreciate the structure of the programs as well as it’s super helpful for someone getting back into workouts
A final note, I really like that your workouts use actual exercises- this program teaches a person how to safely exercise rather than doing a bunch of crazy movements that may not be safe if a person doesn’t know what they’re targeting. Day 5 is done - thank you so so much!

PS...all finished! I used 8 kg weights which I found just right! I loved the giant sets and the choice of exercises...really got the heart rate up! I enjoyed the “step ups” the most!! Then I did the add on which got tough by the end and now I’ve had my Sunday cardio fix! Have a lovely day everyone! Matthew

Morning, Matthew. I didn't expect to use my 2*10 kg today. I am in love with this session. Now I know what Caroline meant by higher intensity. Just wow, all the giant sets were brilliant. Snatch one really burned my shoulders, all the curtsey's and lunges burned my glutes and quads, my core was put to the challenge during all unilateral moves, my glutes died again during 1/2 rep step ups( probably my favourite exercise from today's session) and the finisher just finished me off. It was only 20 sec per move but I felt it in my soul.
I think we don't realize much often how HARD we are actually training. It is insane to think how many crazy challenges and workouts we have completed all ready. I love the mental resiliance of Fuel and how it makes me feel- like I am in the peak of my fitness.

I made it through almost 28 minutes of this with only stopping one time. That is huge for someone who sometimes experiences exercise induced anxiety and who has never done a workout like this before! Did day 1-5 with only 1 day off and on 2 of those days did HIIT cardio after lunch as well...Super proud of myself! Love these workouts, really feeling it and seeing some small changes already! ✨️🔥✨️

Again can’t resist to take a peek of this workout before bed. Since Day 3, I have cautiously increased the weights to near my level for IRON and I thought my body has been gradually adapting to the mechanism of the new FUEL series. Day 5 seems doable for me. Can’t wait to do this💪🏼
Same I watch the bell to see when she drops it. The time difference makes it impossible bc she’s dropping it in the middle if the night my time. Bc when I get up @530a it’s dropped. But I love previewing her workouts.

Fuel series is my fave by far. Concise and sweaty!!! Gets right to the point and I’m a dripping mess at the end each time. It’s challenging enough to keep my interested but familiar to Caroline’s precious releases that make me confident that with some will power and grit, I can finish this! And it’s the first time I’m starting a series at the very beginning of its release date so it’s super fun to see real time comments from everyone else too! Love you Caroline and this strong community!!!!

The exercises in the giant sets are so superbly planned...they really flow from one to another and work the muscles to exhaustion! I’ve just done the add on too and now I am soaked in sweat! Very challenging with 10kg but dropped to 5kg for the squat to press ; I'm progressing thanks to Caroline. Her workouts are so pro and I never get injured compared to when I was in the gym. Caroline is FUELING US to become like her (my aim ! ha ! ha!).😅😂

53 years young. Menopause hasn't been great so have lost muscle mass. I'm a week behind everyone but just finished week 1. I feel so exhilarated after these sessions. Caroline you are a star. Cant thank you enough. Any other menopausal peeps out there.?

First HEAT, now FUEL.... I'm sweating from start to finish, heart rate off the charts and I'm loving every minute of it.... After working out with CG for the past two years I was brave enough to test my strength... I leg pressed 630lbs yesterday.... It was only six reps but boy was I proud of myself.... Day 5 I did with 10kg mostly.. I couldn’t do single arm press with 10kg (done with 7,5kg) and my body said “NO! NO! NO!” For plank row to side plank.. left side I did 3 but right I couldn’t do it with 10kg.. but in other place I could do it with 9kg.. that was funny/strange moment.. respect CG - all exercises you do with 10kg and 15kg..it is amazing! You are very strong girl! Wow! Thank you so much for FUEL series! It was amazing experience 💗all emotions, FB colors, energetic neon pink, a lot of cardio, mental challenges, variety, creativity and support! Thank you! You are amazing coach and great person 💗 Love and hugs!

The first Sunday cardio of the fuel series. This looks interesting! The first thing I noticed was the slightly heavier weight than that used by Caroline for a typical dumbell cardio. Also giant sets! They're my favorite. The workout goes by so fast with them. Looking forward to a fantastic session!

I’ve always skipped Sunday HIIT workouts because I didn’t think I could do them. I did today’s workout and feel amazing! I loved it. I’m dripping sweat and HR got up to 178. Fabulous!

Thank you Caroline for allowing me to trust your unorthodox squatting exercises, earlier on I was thought the traditional squatting positions to avoid injuries with no major results. People fear-not CG’s efficient multi-range Staggered, Close Squats, etc…. 🙌🏻💪🏼🤩🙏🏻

Another great dumbbell cardio from Caroline 👏 I did take more breaks than given because my muscular endurance isn't strong right now. Excited to grow stronger and gain muscles by following more of your programs!
Didn't think I was gonna make today's workout with it being the first day of my cycle and not feeling so hot, but since the cramps subsided I took full advantage 🏋♀ feeling extra proud of myself for knocking the first 5 days of the FUEL Series outta the park with back-to-back consistency!

This is probably the best weighted cardio I have done..... Giant sets make the time fly by...... For the last Fuel finisher had to use lighter weights as my arms were dying at the end..... Thankyou Caroline for a wonderful workout 🎉❤

I was so excited to do this workout! A fun sweat fest! ❤️🔥 I love giant sets and yet again, the combination of exercises was spot on, so that when you have finished the set, the muscle was depleted. I also love incorporating the half step-ups and was so happy to see it here! Thank you Caroline! ❤️ Can’t wait for tomorrow’s quad focused leg session! Happy Sunday everyone!

I missed a day because I played an out of town show and was driving all the way back. Great way to get back in loved this. Was going to do work out 6 but I’m too tired and think I should save my energy for tomorrow so I can do it right. That’s Caroline for this awesome program!

Really enjoyed this one! Those giant sets really can push you to the limits -- especially that finisher! Happy to be returning to the program after a few weeks on vacation with no access to weights. Can't wait to catch up!

These are such fanstastic workouts. Not so extreme that I can’t walk the next day, just perfect to strengthen and tone my muscles. I’m really excited for this program and so thankful that it’s free! 🩷 Great video work too by the way. Super high quality.

This was brilliant! I loved the change up every 30 seconds, it made the workout absolutely fly in. And even though the same muscle group was being targeted throughout I really love the Change-Up it made me focus even more on what I was doing. I am a sweaty mess now LOL. Off to walk the dog, have a well deserved chilled Sunday everyone. See you tomorrow morning ❤
