Yukan Perumal Its just a play on words with the word 'right'. Right can refer to the right hand side or could be used as another word for correct. Hence why he said the wrong side haha. (most of the world actually use to drive on the left.) Thers a really small population around the world that understands our humour haha.
Regarding most of the world used to drive on the left - I doubt it. I also read that Hitler spread right hand traffic through his conquests of countries. It was the same as Napoleon spreading the Metric System. The Brits do drive on the wrong side, and then trying to spread it over the large British Empire, thus creating more of it. There is a part of Britain that drives on the right anyway - Gibraltar. It's a case of - of the European continent. :-) I reckon all countries that drive on the left should move to the right. It will ultimately help with road safety anyway, as someone e.g. from a right hand traffic country driving in a left hand traffic country could cause accidents. Then again, cars are primitive modes of transport, needing to be replaced by somethings more advanced. It's like around 1900 hoping that cars would solve the problems of horse transportation, and now a case of somethings solving the problems of car transportation.
The McDonald's map is bullshit. It shows Romania to not have McDonald's but I remember going to one when I was only 7 years old... and now I am 19. Even in my town we have one for over 5 years...
Man, England you got some work to do! Those 22 countries aren't going to invade themselves. They're all laughing at you and I'm pretty sure one of them said something rude about your mum.
Rogerio Avila think you'll find britain invaded portugal while portugal was under the rule of a spanish king. we didnt invade portugal to war with the portugese, we invaded to help them throw the spanish out. "The Seven Years' War, when Spain invaded Portugal in 1762, Britain intervened as Portugal's ally. Although faced with vastly superior numbers, the Portuguese and British forces achieved a strategic victory over the Spanish and French forces." The invasion of Portugal (19-30 November 1807) saw an Imperial French corps under Jean-Andoche Junot invade the nation of Portugal which was headed by its Prince Regent John of Braganza. The military operation resulted in the almost bloodless occupation of Portugal because its government lacked the will to resist. However, the French presence was challenged by the Portuguese people and by the United Kingdom in 1808 2 different occasions britain invaded portugal to help its ally. we still hold much love to our ally of almost 800 years.
Bryan Cotto On all government issued maps in the United States and Canada Liechtenstein is large enough to be seen by the naked eye, but this made has made it out to be incorrect, insulting the original commenter by stating Liechtenstein is too small to be seen without the aid of a microscope.
1:00 - Map is BS, Bulgaria (and most other places on the map) has never been invaded by England. And half the countries on the map weren't even "invaded", British troops just have fought on the lands.
Being American, even though I understand the imperial system, I wish we started using the metric system. The metric system doesn't make as much sense to me because I had already grown up thinking with inches, feet, miles, etc., but I'd like to be able to communicate with people in other countries when talking about distances.
VanillaHatVII I support using dual systems. The metric system is a convenient system, but it's sterile and you'd be surprised by the degree that measurement systems influence language. For example, "mile stone", "inching ahead", "getting his pound of flesh", "yard stick", "give an inch, take a mile", "don't give an inch", etc. The world is already becoming too dull as it is. Be it London, Tokyo or Cape Town we increasingly see the same cars, the same clothing, the same shops, the same restaurants, etc. Why surrender yet another perfectly useful tradition for the sake of conformity? If we all understand a neutral medium, we can communicate that way. And no, the metric system isn't better -- it's convenient, but not better.
Cyndasaur Let me clarify this point -- I support using both systems for matter concerning daily life like driving, food, etc. However, I support using the metric system for things like engineering.
Cyndasaur imperial system makes no sense, England invented it and they're realising its time to let it go... bout time America joined the rest of the world
little john Okay. I felt invading meant more of Britain being hostile to Norway (or vice versa). Not necessarily invading to help remove other hostiles from Norway.
XavierJ61 OMG u dumbshit. He. Said. "Restricted". Ignore what the map says, listen to the narrator. "under surveillance" is a relative term. of course every countries internet is under surveillance. He is showing us what countries restrict the internet……Are you a teenager? Open ur ears.
I love all these people commenting: Omg what BS my country, [insert here], has never been invaded by English. Then proceeded by someone telling them when it was actually occupied, controlled indirectly, or invaded. Like you're speaking English on an American Website, whether you were invaded in history or not, you have to give props to the global English influence.
@1:01 Don't you mean Britain (ie Pars pro toto for UK) and not England? Also, When did we Brits ever invade vast regions of East and West Europe, Japan, Koea, Siberia? I am suspect of your sources.
invade in this case means just to take place in a country and and become part of the country, which is not necessarily a military invasion, as in the case of chili which UK encouraged the Pacific War in 1879 and never used weapons
Greenland is a part of Denmark so technically they do have McDonald's. It's like saying Great Britain doesn't have Macdonalds because there is no Macdonalds on the isle of man
No Mcdonald in Slovakia, Hungary... Wow, where did you get the map? In Slovakia, since 1995, this map is almost as old, as a public internet. Also, the Czech Republic (among others) was never invaded by England (It was in a war with it several times)
I suspect that it is because this region spans the Alps, Black Forest and major cities such as Munich, Prague. The concentration of amazing views and historical castles and monuments in an area very easy to day trip to for most Europeans pushes it up there.
Why? Tons of stuff has happened there over the years, and yet it remains quite scenic. Historically, significant events have happened in that area from the reign of the Scythians, to the conquests of the Huns, Mongols, Poles, Napoleonic France, Nazi Germany, and uprisings during the Cold War. There is plenty of natural scenery, including what +Steve Thornton listed. And finally, there is a lot there to put on the internet, due to the changes from the fall of the iron curtain to now leaving them a lot to catch up on.
Guess you didn't notice the UK then - the second biggest donor in cash terms ($15Bn) after the US ($30Bn). And as a proportion of GDP, that places the UK 6th in the world and the USA 21st. If the US paid as much as the UK as a proportion of GDP, it would donate $150 Bn a year minimum. In other words, we as a people sacrifice a lot more than you do. And we ask for nothing in return. All I think is that we should be giving a lot more, not who 'hates' us or not (which is basically the same as expecting people to be 'grateful' to us for not hoarding wealth while populations starve).
ludocrat I don't understand why you said, "Guess you didn't notice the UK" When your agreeing with him/her, the UK is second, after the US in "cash terms." Because the data you showed really only affirms their conclusion. Also, GDP only really pertains when in relations to something relative to their population, annual income, etc. Not so much in something along the lines of Foreign aid. As an example, say i'm a country, and you give me 5 dollars. I really could care less if that 5 dollars is half of your money, or a millionth, it won't change the value of the 5 dollars you just gave me, it won't make it any more, or any less, than 5 dollars. As a wonderful example, take Luxembourg. They give the most money by GDP by far, but they aren't winning any foreign aid awards because it doesn't change the fact that they aren't giving a lot of foreign aid. Also, a bit off topic, but your data is slightly old. I don't think it really changes anything, but the Up-to-the-date data shows the UK giving 13 billion, with the same amount of money being given by the US (edit, as before, around 30 million). And the US is 19th, now, instead of 21st.
I'm in Newfoundland. We weren't covered by that map but I can guarantee you there are Great Whites in the Colder parts of the North Atlantic. Not common but they're here.
he should have shown two maps, one showing places where people have been killed by sharks, and another one showing places where sharks have been killed by people. There would be a big difference
Endriu Endriu Right. And the water near the upper east coast of the US is red. There are barely any sharks in the North. New York doesn't have sharks, that's ridiculous.
One minute in, you show a map where you say it is countries that England hasn't invaded. That is not true. It is Great Britain, made up of four separate nations, that has done this. Why is it that most Americans think that Great Britain and England are synonymous?
because the royal family is English and it were usually the english that went to sail the seas same happened to the netherlands most sailors and colonists came from Holland now most people think Holland and the Netherlands are the same
HammerheadGuitar The British royal family only changed their name in 1917 so they didn't appear German. Considering the time they changed it that is well past the peak of the colonial era. No, you're wrong this time buddy.
i love this video so much! this is the 67th time i watched it! :)! i record how many times i watch it on my sheet of paper! im a huge fan of this video! i even post screenshots of it on my wall! love it so much! thank you! xxx
Vandy Niyomkham I know but for a time when conquering was the normal we did it well for such a small country I don't think any other nation has come close, size wise. Side note to your point, "you can not win them all and that's part of the fun", please note that was a generic statement not an omission that invading or conquering is right in away :)
That's unnecessary as religion has managed to ruin lives throughout the world over time. Since recorded time, I doubt there's even one town that hasn't been detrimentally affected by religion let alone one country. Religion is a cancer that keeps on giving.
+JammyBantam The metric system is Centimetres, Millimetres, Metres, Kilometres, Litres and millilitres. Imperial system is inch, feet, yard, mile and gallon. I'm not 100% sure and correct for this so yeah. Also, I think Gram, Kilogram and Ton are in both.
Can people shut up about America using the imperial system? We don't care for using Metric. Sick of people who don't even live here, bitching about the way we do something, that hurts nobody! When foreigners complain about it, it's like if a German went to Poland and told Polish people "Why do you speak Polish? It's complicated and difficult language. Speak German instead, it's far simpler and more commonly used." and then the Poles be like "Oh, not you again! Out! Not invading this time!" but I digress ._. These scales are like languages, some countries use different ones but they are both easily translatable and mean the same fucking thing. Plus, don't tell me Celsius is honestly better than Fahrenheit! With Fahrenheit you can say "Today's high is in the mid 90s with lots of sun, and our low is in the low 70s and partly cloudy." In Celsius you don't have the convenience of grouping in tens. Also, I am pretty respectful when talking to foreigners. I have friends overseas, and when I talk to them and mention the weather, I'm courteous enough to say it in Celsius. Most Americans aren't calling Europeans dumb for using Metric, so leave us alone!
dude scales have nothing to do with languages. Fact is Americans are just attention whores who do this to feel special and better than other people lol.
Joe Haddad Yeaa keep being jealous x) Btw, boiling point changes with altitude. Sorry we don't all live at sea level like the Dutch and the French. In many parts of America, 100 c is NOT boiling point, therefore nullifying the main argument for Celsius.
You'll find that most Americans speak using both Metric and Customary when eyeing differences making ours a bit more accurate why measuring in whole numbers, all I'm not sure about other areas of America but where I live we are fluent in both.
***** As someone who has lived in (Nasr city,Cairo,Egypt).I agree and disagree with you.The are no browsing restrictions but there are bandwidth limits which I personally think is done on purpose. When in Tahreer area all hotels/Clubs/high class locations have internet speed of 25-Mbps and up while the max allowed to be owned by a person(this was 2012. Havent been there since.)is 5-10 Mbps.
Ali Enigma I'm Egyptian as well I lived in Mohandiseen but moved recently to Canada.and internet speeds are very low I remember having like 2mbps but no browsing restrictions. Maybe it could be regarder as having restrictions but not an internet enemy...
Don't be too proud that they conquered your country too. I grew just a couple blocks from the very 1st one, it wouldn't bother me if I never saw another one in my life time.
Number 19 - supposedly a map showing all the countries "that England has never invaded". This is wrong in so many ways, even if we ignore the fact that countries don't invade! It is impossible to invade a country prior to that country being established.
that's what I was wondering, because as far as I remember from high school, there were very different boundaries in Africa prior to Europe being present, so I don't see how they could make that map.
emmahzification Not just Africa. Among the many countries shown on the map as having been invaded by England, England (or the UK, or Britain) have never invaded the USA, Canada or Australia. In fact, very few have been 'invaded' by England. It is also highly debatable whether most of the countries that were fought in during either WW1 or WW2 should be considered to have been 'invaded' by any of the countries that made up 'the allies'. Japan, for instance, can be considered to have been attacked (and occupied) by 'Allied troops', not by the countries those troops came from.
Alex and William, you both need to give some careful thought to Slevin's comment. The English certainly invaded North America, but they did *not* invade the USA or Canada. Oh, and William, the USA has *never* fought a war against England or Britain. Technically the American war of independence was an uprising of British colonists against the state (ie. it was Brits against Brits).
Well for me I realized how big the moon is, I think for a lot of people it could be the other way around, but it really put in to perspective how big and unexplored the moon is
Number 19 at 0:56, totally infuriating "the countries that England hasn't invaded" No.... the countries that Great Britain has invaded, not just England.
Monarchy, same language, same location, tote the same historical achievements. It's the fucking same bro. You can't just wear "Great Britain" like a coat, then take it off when it inconveniences you. You can't cherry pick like that.
All the British people in this comment section getting mad how he said England instead of Great Britain, then turn around and blame America for everything.
#4 makes me happy and sad at the same time. How can a country like the US have 1701 and the entire continent of Africa has like 100. But still, proud to be an american

There should be a map for where the most sharks get killed cos holy crap, we kill thousands of sharks every day yet they only kill a couple of humans a year.
WizardGaming it may be little over half, but in this decade only like, a hundred humans were killed by unprovoked attacks by ANY shark. if you compare that we kill thousands of them a day, it's like sharks are like guppies. most of the time when many people get killed it's because humans are not careful. it's their own fault when they get eaten.
Ronnie Hill Don't you insult me that way. I'm neither liberal nor British nor taking something in the ass, what I guess is a logical conclusion from upper affirmations.
drumstick74 we are really trying to learn it. In my school, we say feet and meters. its not being stubborn, its just how we have done it in the past. And speaking of stubborn, why doesnt the UK drive on the right side of the road? Thats just as stubborn
+Mark Daniel -- In America, entertainers are among the best compensated. Coaches are part of the sport entertainment industry. It has been said that the US population is the least informed but best entertained people in the world. Could be true...
Most career politicians have sources of income other than their salary. More like rich people become politicians than politicians become rich (though they probably become richer).
the higest paid public employees should be coaches they male a lot of money for there school they should be paid accordingly texas football made 110 million dollars in 2014 and Charlie Strong make less than 6 million a year
Hitoshi the most valuable jobs at a university are the jobs that create the revenue that funds all the other programs. Football and basketball coaches deserve every doe they make bc of how much money they create

#25: This map is pretty meaningless. It doesn't accurately show population density or distribution. It only accounts for 7 billion people. The remaining 146 million apparently don't exist. Also, it is an odd combination of countries. Low population counters are lumped with parts of high population countries.
here is a fact for you.. the world doesn't have 7.146 billion people... its just a made up estimate, the world could actuly have +- 500 MILLION people ;)
#5 Countries which ever operated an aircraft carrier... wrong! The Netherlands has had two aircraft carriers: HNLMS Karel Doorman (QH1) and HNLMS Karel Doorman (R81) Karel Doorman (QH1) was originally the HMS Nairana (D05) - an escort carrier, bought by The Netherlands in 1946. Karel Doorman (R81) was originally the HMS Venerable, a Colossus-class aircraft carrier, sold to The Netherlands in 1948. She was sold to Argentina in 1969 and was later used in the first weeks of the Falklands war.
+doesntmakeanysence2u You are right indeed, but it looks more like just Brabant and Limburg are coloured light blue or something, it's extremely hard to tell.
Erling Kristiansen They most certainly did not. Merely networking two or more computers does not count as 'internet'. The Internet is a specific addressing protocol. In the 1950s, the largest computer network on earth was the US military's SAGE defense network.
Dion Thomas I did think about it, but no, while there is a certain amount of surveillance going on in US, it's not as bad as in UK and Australia, or even as in Norway. And I didn't include Norway in my comment either.
At 1:20 Technically speaking the United States DOES use all metric units. The Imperial units are still used for non-scientific weight and distance, that's all.

It's like around 1900 hoping that cars would solve the problems of horse transportation, and now a case of somethings solving the problems of car transportation.
I've got to get out of the house a stop whatching these silly videos.
I agree
No.
ohhh you'll be back

Do you know what they call a 1/4 pounder with cheese in paris ?
:)
Quarter pounder with cheese?
un quart d'une livre de fromage?
Na man, they got the metric system.
They wouldn't know what a quarter pounder is.
They call it a royale with cheese
jackie boy Pulp fiction.
In the UAE it is still quarter pounder and we follow the metric system.
The McDonald's map is bullshit. It shows Romania to not have McDonald's but I remember going to one when I was only 7 years old... and now I am 19. Even in my town we have one for over 5 years...
ye I'm actually watching this in mcdonalds that i went to all my life and im a 20 year old serbian
It also said boreno and Iceland don't have McDonald's
My country has have a mcdonald's all my life and am 30, i'm from Paraguay, that shows in blue in the map
Sorry to have to tell you but the Romanian so called McDonalds are actually fake and you don't want to even know what they put in the burgers.
I left my hometown almost forty years ago, but my family that still lives there; assures me that their oldest McDonald's is almost thirty years now.
Serbia has mc donalds and has a lot of skyscrapers.
yep, that's what I was going to say. it must be a really old map, because Hungary has McDonalds too, since 1988.
Maybe...
tbh, why does it even matter if a country has McDonalds or not. There are local fast food restaurants that probably serve better food.
Idk...
Are you trying to provoke me or something?
Whoa, only 22 countries England has never invaded?! And the Brits cry about us invading countries!
Bobby Burkito England has a LONG history... much longer than the USA!
Bobby Burkito United Kingdom NOT England.
Duncan Jones when did it become the UK tho?
Mikus Aurelius I think in the early 1700's
Lol "United kingdom"... Meanwhile you hold Northern Ireland Scotland and whale in your 'United Kingdom' (the English empire) against their will...
Lol 22 countries worldwide have never been invaded by England.
Not yet, not yet...
Hobbes!
that's not accurate at all
so many countries are shown as invaded like saudi arabia but it wasn't invaded
+CYFHD yep they have
I love the metric system one. It's really holding us back
0:45 fake. Morocco does have Mcdonalds.
+Darth Vader Apperantly you can get eaten by a Great White Shark in The Netherlands too...
+Unkel Dolan And in the UK
+Darth Vader That's because it was 2 weeks ago Ha Ha
Well this video was made yesterday so give him a break. Soon will all be a bunch of fatass's
Anthony Brown We jumped from december the 5th 2013 to the 9th of March 2016 in one night?
you forgot the map where you have more chances to get drown in your bathroom than being eaten by a white shark
Man, England you got some work to do! Those 22 countries aren't going to invade themselves. They're all laughing at you and I'm pretty sure one of them said something rude about your mum.
Just you wait until I come into power!
make it 23 Portugal and England used to be allies in the middle ages, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portugal%E2%80%93United_Kingdom_relations .
Better yet ask Napoleon why he invade Portugal might has something to do with us not wanting to close our ports to english ships
***** I'd consider England more like a serial rapist impregnating nations with their influence
Although faced with vastly superior numbers, the Portuguese and British forces achieved a strategic victory over the Spanish and French forces."
The invasion of Portugal (19-30 November 1807) saw an Imperial French corps under Jean-Andoche Junot invade the nation of Portugal which was headed by its Prince Regent John of Braganza. The military operation resulted in the almost bloodless occupation of Portugal because its government lacked the will to resist. However, the French presence was challenged by the Portuguese people and by the United Kingdom in 1808
2 different occasions britain invaded portugal to help its ally.
we still hold much love to our ally of almost 800 years.
one about McDonalds is wrong.
Iulian Ghita why?
Lina Horn Cuz' in Romania we do have McDonalds
Petru Stefanescu In Paraguay too
Axel1797 It was Bolivia you dumbass
Santiago ff The map shows both countries.
Uzbekistan is the only country where you have to travelling through at least two countries to get to the open ocean
What about Liechtenstein?
ah right didn't see that on the map, didn't bring my microscope
Rekt [x] Not rekt [ ]
Joel Rayburn How is that 'rekt'? It's a fact that Liechtenstein is one of the smallest countries in the world.
Bryan Cotto On all government issued maps in the United States and Canada Liechtenstein is large enough to be seen by the naked eye, but this made has made it out to be incorrect, insulting the original commenter by stating Liechtenstein is too small to be seen without the aid of a microscope.
I'm tired of people saying Americans drive on the wrong side of the road, that map proves we drive on the more popular side.
Just because it is more popular, doesn't mean it is right. Like slavery.
Trevor Phillips Or like The Metric System
But still not the right side
"and these are all of the places you can be eaten by a great white shark" IM DYING LOL
1:00 - Map is BS, Bulgaria (and most other places on the map) has never been invaded by England. And half the countries on the map weren't even "invaded", British troops just have fought on the lands.
but england did invade many nations including the United States.
Patrick Babineau That is true, but the map is not.
I think they might've said it wrong, maybe not invaded but influenced and as you said fought there.
Actually, The Brits invaded Bulgaria in ww1
Marko CZV
Yeah, but it wasn't British territory, as the map says.
Bunnyroo7 because imperial to metric conversions have fucked shit up in the past, but no system is better than the other
Cyndasaur Let me clarify this point -- I support using both systems for matter concerning daily life like driving, food, etc. However, I support using the metric system for things like engineering.
Cyndasaur imperial system makes no sense, England invented it and they're realising its time to let it go... bout time America joined the rest of the world
notthis prickagain imperial system is ingrained in american culture. explain how it makes no sense.
Even pilots who are not american use mph and feet
what? When did england (UK) invade Norway?
Never I think. There was a war between them (think Vikings) but I don't know if England actually invaded them, which I don't think they did...........
I agree with you :) The conclusion is never.
second world war, British expeditionary force sent to tackle the invading Germans.
WW2 but it was against Germans more so !
little john Okay. I felt invading meant more of Britain being hostile to Norway (or vice versa). Not necessarily invading to help remove other hostiles from Norway.
0:48
Morocco is not shown as having McDonalds, but they do.
1:20 So the US isn't alone.
sad
Nah... But the sad truth is that the other 2 are transitioning XDXDXDXDXD
+UltimateToby 17 i love the customary system im probs the only one in the world who likes this
+TheCake MuffinCrew you may be the only one who knows what you're talking about. can you give us a clue.
not only is the US not alone, but that map is false. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperial_units
"These are all the places where you can get eaten by a great white shark."
Oh boy! Now I know where I'm taking my next vacation to!
You are more likely to die eating a shark than getting eaten by a shark, seriously!
1:12 that map is wrong, every country's internet is under surveillance (Thanks NSA!)
he said restricted, not surveillance, so…YOU"RE wrong. thanks NSA!
Actually the map had both restricted and surveilled. Learn how to read.
Andrew Arango Thanks NSA!
I said the map was wrong, that was the whole point of my post
@1:03
Love how the internet map shows 3 institutions in CA, then all of Utah.
Some ugly hobo guessing your American, if so, nice to find one that isn't so god damn arrogant
Krazee Kieran There's plenty if you block out all the loud noise coming from the few arrogant Americans
Some ugly hobo
You can't influence anyone if you are misleading them.
Way to end it on a positive note
@1:01 Don't you mean Britain (ie Pars pro toto for UK) and not England?
Also, When did we Brits ever invade vast regions of East and West Europe, Japan, Koea, Siberia? I am suspect of your sources.
Siberia is not a country. Russia is.
I know and I never said it was. I reffered to it as a region.
they invaded russia during world one
they never invaded nepal
invade in this case means just to take place in a country and and become part of the country, which is not necessarily a military invasion, as in the case of chili which UK encouraged the Pacific War in 1879 and never used weapons
2:29 most of the ones in Egypt must be the pyramids lol
Greenland is a part of Denmark so technically they do have McDonald's.
It's like saying Great Britain doesn't have Macdonalds because there is no Macdonalds on the isle of man
No Mcdonald in Slovakia, Hungary... Wow, where did you get the map? In Slovakia, since 1995, this map is almost as old, as a public internet. Also, the Czech Republic (among others) was never invaded by England (It was in a war with it several times)
Most photographed area is Mid-Eastern Europe?! For some reason that really surprises me.
It surprises me that France is not photographed as much as the West and center of Europe. Still Paris is noticable though.
I suspect that it is because this region spans the Alps, Black Forest and major cities such as Munich, Prague. The concentration of amazing views and historical castles and monuments in an area very easy to day trip to for most Europeans pushes it up there.
Steve Thornton Yeah that's true. I guess I'm just surprised it's not more of the US (I'm British, unbiased!)
I was expecting Asia cuz all they do is take pictures
2:45 I have been trying with no luck for over 50 years to get eaten by a great white shark, so I don't think that map is accurate.
You can be eaten, but it is very very unlikely (don't r/woooosh me please)
I love these Americans screaming at Brits and Brits screaming at Americans. I wish I had popcorn
Okay maybe we should all scream at you.
Lol, I just got on this page, I didn't even know there was fighting going on here.
SalemSunset Still gonna scream at me?, Dw bout it. All people do is scream
*australian voice* Beer?
OnzaTechy im german! give the beer to me!
There should be a map were soccer is called soccer and were football is called football
in the usa and canada they call it soccer everywere else its called football
john bohn In Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Island and a lot of African Countries they call it soccer.
HeaLii no in australia they say both the fans call it football the non fans call it soccer
***** I'm in Australia and most of us call it soccer
Chris Wollensack whats your point exactly?
The rest of the world haves the US even though we're #1 in foreign aid. Don't hate Americans but their govt
***** Re-read my comment and then try again.
I don't like being American.
Every time a drone strike kills a terrorist, it creates dozens more due to collateral damage that angers people.
They put no key so these maps look like senseless colouring!
The last one looks like play doh...
So uh if I'm outside the coloured area on #1 the shark will let me go?
Uh huh
I'm in Newfoundland. We weren't covered by that map but I can guarantee you there are Great Whites in the Colder parts of the North Atlantic. Not common but they're here.
I can guarantee you that you won't get eaten by a great white shark in Argentina (I'm argentinian and I've never seen a shark on the coast)
I enjoyed the video until he had to put a negative view on sharks..... WTF
He should have added a map that shows all places, where you can get attacked by a cow.
+Schmebu lock azores
That map isnt even accurate. For example there is super fucking tiny chance that the shark will appear to be in Italy's, Croatia's waters.
he should have shown two maps, one showing places where people have been killed by sharks, and another one showing places where sharks have been killed by people. There would be a big difference
Endriu Endriu Right. And the water near the upper east coast of the US is red. There are barely any sharks in the North. New York doesn't have sharks, that's ridiculous.
I think this was my favorite list of yours yet, keep it awesome
0:59 I think you meant to say, the countries in white are the countries Britain hasn't invaded *yet*
One minute in, you show a map where you say it is countries that England hasn't invaded.
That is not true.
It is Great Britain, made up of four separate nations, that has done this.
Why is it that most Americans think that Great Britain and England are synonymous?
because the royal family is English and it were usually the english that went to sail the seas same happened to the netherlands most sailors and colonists came from Holland now most people think Holland and the Netherlands are the same
HammerheadGuitar
The royal family is German.
J Wratten they are of germanic descent just like most english people
Burhan the Somali well yes but how many generations does it take for a german family to become english?
HammerheadGuitar The British royal family only changed their name in 1917 so they didn't appear German. Considering the time they changed it that is well past the peak of the colonial era. No, you're wrong this time buddy.
There would be no land if all the country's with coast line sank because the remaining would then have coastline and then sink.
if you're trying to be smart you failed
"And these are the places where you can get eaten by a great white shark"
GUESS WHO IS MOVING TO ALASKA OR CANADA
true.
+gunit8590 Why kill spiders? Spiders are awesome!
***** There so cute though when you look at them up close.
+The Shy Flower I'd rather get attacked by a cow every once and awhile , then by a shark once :p
or Northern Europe
1:23
England doesn't use the metric system either, so why is it grey? Hell everything else might be wrong aswell.
i love this video so much! this is the 67th time i watched it! :)! i record how many times i watch it on my sheet of paper! im a huge fan of this video! i even post screenshots of it on my wall! love it so much! thank you! xxx
Wow, that's quite something. I would be gobsmacked if you haven't liked the video! :)
OMG! You remind me of no-one.
xEddy3013x oh i forgot to :O
only 22 country we never invaded "Sniff" *sheds a tear*
some of the countries they invaded they never conquered.
Vandy Niyomkham I know but for a time when conquering was the normal we did it well for such a small country I don't think any other nation has come close, size wise.
Side note to your point, "you can not win them all and that's part of the fun", please note that was a generic statement not an omission that invading or conquering is right in away :)
Jon ee not exactly something to be proud of really, is it?
fenz1 given the time and the worlds mind set yes it was.
ubernagash
That just means that people were generally barbarians back then. It's a disgusting past. Something to be ashamed of rather than proud.
I want a map to show all the places where religion has ruined peoples lives at some point in time.
So, you want a full world map then?
rynks
If that's what I get.
That's unnecessary as religion has managed to ruin lives throughout the world over time. Since recorded time, I doubt there's even one town that hasn't been detrimentally affected by religion let alone one country. Religion is a cancer that keeps on giving.
Are you talking about in who's mind it has been ruined?
proudamerican57 I believe that would fall into the same category.
"And this is the united states on the moon"
What's the metric system?
I'm super cereal
I'm being super duper cereal. Seriously though what is it?
troll
+JammyBantam The metric system is Centimetres, Millimetres, Metres, Kilometres, Litres and millilitres. Imperial system is inch, feet, yard, mile and gallon. I'm not 100% sure and correct for this so yeah. Also, I think Gram, Kilogram and Ton are in both.
Harry Reid Oh and pounds are Imperial.
Kinda proud that Britain has invaded most of the world, even though we brought terror and destruction to the natives.
Chris P. Bacon You are a sick fuck!
Chris P. Bacon You mean civilization.
Yeah well America beat your asses SO BEAT IT BITCH! AMERICA FUCK YAH!
I wish that were all true.......
***** what are you talking about? Americans travel abroad more than any other country. Also we are very special ;) you jealous swine.
i clicked on this video thinking it probably wouldnt change a single crap about how i see the world and i was right
@ 2:05 Your straight line would require some pretty serious continental drift. When do we depart ?
Joe Haddad
Yeaa keep being jealous x)
Btw, boiling point changes with altitude. Sorry we don't all live at sea level like the Dutch and the French. In many parts of America, 100 c is NOT boiling point, therefore nullifying the main argument for Celsius.
BadgerCheese94 Jealous of what? Needing a calculator when you want to convert foot into miles?
Michael Schmid 1 mile=5280 ft. This is common knowledge in America.
MrMonchoyo Ok, how many feet are 14,93 miles?
America, you need to start using the metric system, seriously!
How many kilometers in a pound?
You'll find that most Americans speak using both Metric and Customary when eyeing differences making ours a bit more accurate why measuring in whole numbers, all I'm not sure about other areas of America but where I live we are fluent in both.
We know! LoL
thank Reagan for killing off metric. We were on our way in the 70's but when Reagan came in they stopped all of that.
calaverasgrande Yep, one of the few good things he did. American Exceptionalism FTW!
Egypt doesn't heavily restrict internet access... Not a lot of people use the internet due to their situation but it isn't heavily restricted.
Havent been there since.)is 5-10 Mbps.
what is your picture of? I know its a album cover, just cant remember who's..
whablo100 Pink Floyd, album "The Division Bell".
whablo100 division bell by pink floyd, it's their last album
Ali Enigma I'm Egyptian as well I lived in Mohandiseen but moved recently to Canada.and internet speeds are very low I remember having like 2mbps but no browsing restrictions. Maybe it could be regarder as having restrictions but not an internet enemy...
Wtf Hungary and Serbia has McDonalds for 20+ years...
Don't be too proud that they conquered your country too. I grew just a couple blocks from the very 1st one, it wouldn't bother me if I never saw another one in my life time.
Yes i am from budapest hungary

Number 19 - supposedly a map showing all the countries "that England has never invaded". This is wrong in so many ways, even if we ignore the fact that countries don't invade!
It is impossible to invade a country prior to that country being established.
that's what I was wondering, because as far as I remember from high school, there were very different boundaries in Africa prior to Europe being present, so I don't see how they could make that map.
emmahzification
Not just Africa.
Obscure Inception The Mayflower was an english vessel. Plus both Canada and Australia have the queen of england on their currency.
***** When they came to the USA... it wasn't the USA.
Alex and William, you both need to give some careful thought to Slevin's comment.
The English certainly invaded North America, but they did *not* invade the USA or Canada.
Oh, and William, the USA has *never* fought a war against England or Britain. Technically the American war of independence was an uprising of British colonists against the state (ie. it was Brits against Brits).
map USA on the moon ... wtf ... this is pointless .. i mean how that can change the way I see the world ??
still ... how it change the way I see the world ??
Well, it changed the way I see the world, because I didn't know that USA was so big.
Well for me I realized how big the moon is, I think for a lot of people it could be the other way around, but it really put in to perspective how big and unexplored the moon is
Петър Макавеев Well you saw the earth on the moon. So it changed the way you saw the earth.
i think .. not ...
1:28 it looks like you can go through all of germany but instead you are only allowed to look at the large cities such as berlin
You can;t get a Mc burger in Romania ? Really ? Whe have mcdonalds since i dunno the year 2000 lol
for me, one of the best list25
Yeah, I want more of these!
All the British people in this comment section getting mad how he said England instead of Great Britain, then turn around and blame America for everything.
minecraftYJ the british people are fucking everywhere
THE BRITISH ARE COMING!!!
minecraftYJ nah you guys are too small now
The macdonalds one is inaccurate.there are mcdonalds in the Dominican Republic.
I know. There are McDonalds in Romania too!
And no McDonald's in north Korea
I don't remember when Britain invaded Czechia.
Last Tuesday but it was only for lunch lol.
WW2
The British never got that far east in WW2.
it was a long time ago but it is true
Or Romania...that list is bullshit

I always wondered why everyone does not drive on the same side of the road. Does anyone know?
its never taken me longer to watch a 3 minute video
#4 makes me happy and sad at the same time. How can a country like the US have 1701 and the entire continent of Africa has like 100. But still, proud to be an american
You shouldn't be happy at all.
Grandmaster Swaglord Swaggington IV why? Big building represent america. the US invented the skyscraper for god sake.
It shows how poor Africa is.
Grandmaster Swaglord Swaggington IV well its sad for Africa, but it does show how successful the US has been
18aidanme HAHA are you fucking serious? I love the place I was born and raised. I love my right to say whatever the fuck I want to say. I love having a gun so I can go hunting with my lab. And if you dont like that, then you can go fuck yourself.
It's nice to know that my country is sourrounded by waters that has great white sharks living in it.
There should be a map for where the most sharks get killed cos holy crap, we kill thousands of sharks every day yet they only kill a couple of humans a year.
THGswiftieforever I live in flordia so the like a little over half shark attacks happen here...good thing i hate the beach
WizardGaming In the US that is
WizardGaming it may be little over half, but in this decade only like, a hundred humans were killed by unprovoked attacks by ANY shark. if you compare that we kill thousands of them a day, it's like sharks are like guppies. most of the time when many people get killed it's because humans are not careful. it's their own fault when they get eaten.
OY, Romania DOES have McDonald's AND they serve Big Macs, it should be Red, not Blue.
0:54 You have inverted the map. Red countries actually drive left side and Blues drive right hands
2:40 Welcome to Germany. Take your photos here.
Welcome to Germany, take-a photo prease.

Ronnie Hill Don't you insult me that way. I'm neither liberal nor British nor taking something in the ass, what I guess is a logical conclusion from upper affirmations.
+lolo9999ization well but its wrong tho germany has never been invaded by england completly but we the saxons invaded u guys
We are/used to be a strong nation
Finland has never been invaded by UK
I laughed when it got to the part on the metrics system. Oh USA... so sad.
Talk about being stubborn ;-)
drumstick74 we are really trying to learn it. In my school, we say feet and meters. its not being stubborn, its just how we have done it in the past. And speaking of stubborn, why doesnt the UK drive on the right side of the road? Thats just as stubborn
Michael S I agree.
Michael S
You could argue the left is the original side and everyone else is being awkward.
Stuart Gibbons and you could also argue that the metric system is wrong too :/
it is interesting that in most states coaches are paid the most yet, career politicians manage to become wealthier. must be shenanigans going on.
+Mark Daniel -- In America, entertainers are among the best compensated. Coaches are part of the sport entertainment industry. It has been said that the US population is the least informed but best entertained people in the world. Could be true...
I think Americans are more informed than people living in China where internet is regulated
its public employees, entertainers arent public employees
Most career politicians have sources of income other than their salary. More like rich people become politicians than politicians become rich (though they probably become richer).
the higest paid public employees should be coaches they male a lot of money for there school they should be paid accordingly texas football made 110 million dollars in 2014 and Charlie Strong make less than 6 million a year
1:53 Why is this depressing? Football coaches love it!
Its because they get way more pay than teachers and other important jobs
Hitoshi the most valuable jobs at a university are the jobs that create the revenue that funds all the other programs. Football and basketball coaches deserve every doe they make bc of how much money they create
UGH. WHY are a majority of the maps related to the bloody US? There are other countries on the planet.
Tyler Dodge LOL. Keep tellin' yourself that.
micah williams Well. Look at your childish response.
Thomas Harding What are you talking about? Only five were about just the US. That's hardly a majority.
micah williams if it wasn't for Europe the world would still be still living in the stone age...... democracy, Newton, Einstein, industrial revolution, renaissance, I could go on forever
notthis prickagain "Well the US has Steven Hawking! ..... Shit!"
These videos are getting more and more... "Unprofessional"... just me?
It isn't just you
actually i liked this one the most.. didn't have to put a lot of effort to understand what's going on.. the rest just get my head twisted
It's just you and uofga1998.
not unprofessional, but it does seem like they just wanna put these out without much thought..
List25's just running out of ideas, and if they're making their videos seem unprofessional, it's probably because there's kids who watch these videos and can't get their mind to process the sayings.
#25: This map is pretty meaningless. It doesn't accurately show population density or distribution. It only accounts for 7 billion people. The remaining 146 million apparently don't exist. Also, it is an odd combination of countries. Low population counters are lumped with parts of high population countries.
to get ten from 9 and 1, addition is necessary.
and theres an extra billion since that picture
here is a fact for you.. the world doesn't have 7.146 billion people... its just a made up estimate, the world could actuly have +- 500 MILLION people ;)
Lawliet Where you got that information?
Amber O'neal They can't count every person.
Amber O'neal
Do you really think they have accurately counted? Hell, they can't even count the illegal aliens on my block.
Where the hell did you get McDonald's map? We have Mc here in Romania
#5 Countries which ever operated an aircraft carrier... wrong!
The Netherlands has had two aircraft carriers: HNLMS Karel Doorman (QH1) and HNLMS Karel Doorman (R81)
Karel Doorman (QH1) was originally the HMS Nairana (D05) - an escort carrier, bought by The Netherlands in 1946.
Karel Doorman (R81) was originally the HMS Venerable, a Colossus-class aircraft carrier, sold to The Netherlands in 1948.
She was sold to Argentina in 1969 and was later used in the first weeks of the Falklands war.
+TheNecrocoil Indeed she did. She was known in Argentina as ARA Veinticinco de Mayo.
+TheNecrocoil if you look closely it's colored light blue ;)
+doesntmakeanysence2u You are right indeed, but it looks more like just Brabant and Limburg are coloured light blue or something, it's extremely hard to tell.
Yeah that was wrong Ethiopia operated aircraft
1:02 Norway had internet connection in the 50's. Not for personal use though.
Erling Kristiansen Multiple countries did.
Erling Kristiansen They most certainly did not. Merely networking two or more computers does not count as 'internet'. The Internet is a specific addressing protocol. In the 1950s, the largest computer network on earth was the US military's SAGE defense network.
Australia and UK should also be on the Internet surveillance map.
Don't forget the US and our beloved N.S.A.
Dion Thomas I did think about it, but no, while there is a certain amount of surveillance going on in US, it's not as bad as in UK and Australia, or even as in Norway. And I didn't include Norway in my comment either.
Exactly, 1 major case of cyber bullying can get you locked up in the UK
AirborneProjectile And the problem with that was?
I never said there was a problem. I was just agreeing with what you said...
At 1:20 Technically speaking the United States DOES use all metric units. The Imperial units are still used for non-scientific weight and distance, that's all.
