You never saw that when Steve Perry was the lead singer, and look at Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Rush etc. They don’t have that crap, if my band asked for that I’d quit.
His voice is actually better than 2 years ago, and anybody, even Dean would be struggling if they had gone through to grueling touring schedule Arnel has over the past 10 years.

I can tell you this job is hard, I remember belting out songs like this for almost an hour and I can't handle it, I just imagine how Arnel is able to do so and pull it off somehow in consecutive nights.
