@landon Speaking of the image on the right (generated large Mosque with turrets), in all honesty, would you really immediately say this is not ok? I think ASKING to build it is totally ok, and those resident may have a different reaction. The problem comes when legal action is thrown in from the beginning (which is a big reason I think the Fairview temple is so triggering)
The dictatorial nature of the Mormon churches hierarchy portrays one important aspect. The construction of all of these temples is simply a ploy to convince people that Mormonism is expanding which is definitely not the case. The religion is made-man and edifies mankind rather than the God of this Universe as portrayed in the Holy Bible.

That letter from the mayor was ridiculous. A whole bunch of claims without specific examples to demonstrate them. The members are largely great people. The church itself does little to nothing to build community. It creates division.
