I have severe autoimmune issues, skin lesions, vitiligo, PCOS, allergies and many other health issues. About 6 months, ago, I started a carnivore diet as a last ditch effort (prior raw vegan and fruitarian) to heal myself.
As I’ve navigated my carnivore journey, I’ve learned (frequently the hard way) that my body / system can only tolerate grass fed beef, lamb, salt and small amounts of ghee. No other diary, animal meats, eggs, seasonings etc.
I’ve cooked/baked ribs many times, in a variety of ways in the oven, slow/pressure cooker and air fryer but given that I prefer my meat to be rare or medium rare, the taste of well-done, slow cooked, stringy, and/or watery meats is very unappealing, oftentimes, inedible.
I’m experiencing positive improvements so I spend a small fortune on ribeyes and other higher quality cuts of beef and lamb so that I can stick to my carnivore plan.
The butcher had meaty, beef short ribs on special so I bought some.
Wow! These ribs absorbed all of their own juices including fat and cartilage, and the flavour was SO DELICIOUS that I did a happy dance as I ate a HUGE plate of these yummy ribs. I’ve since ordered 10 kilos (22.5 lbs) of ribs👍🏻
Thank you very much for this recipe🙏🏻 I’ll be trialling more of your recipes and hopefully, I can expand my menu.
*Please note: I cooked my ribs at 135C (275 F)
in a fan forced oven for 3.5 hours.

I know the video is a year old and you probably won’t see this. On lions diet for 30 days, eating nothing but steak cooked grass fed beef tallow OMAD and drinking water. Want to treat myself for completing my first milestone. Going to do 3 months lions diet then introduce eggs and lamb only. So as my treat I’m going out tomorrow to buy beef back ribs and cook it like you guys said in the video. Thank you so much 🙏

Just use a cast iron pot with a lid. I do it all the time. Less waste, healthier.

man you need more spices/seasonings on those ribs than that... there's no way that brings out any flavor in the meat. LOL i feel like people on keto/carnivore diets never use spices or seasonings correctly for meals like this.

Salt does a ton, but I would let the ribs rest for a bit after salting to maximize it

If these are really beef 'back' ribs (which I am doubtful of... pretty meaty for back ribs) trust me, salt and pepper are enough. Back ribs come from right next to the rib eye. They don't have a ton of meat, but what is there is actually ribeye meat being slow- roasted with the bone, fat and collagen! Yum!
