My favourite one! You're one of the best out there! Chapeau
I listened to this recording so many times back in the day...had little idea what was going on harmonically & rhymically. Thanks!
Bravo! Great work. London Blues really smokes. It's rooted and out there at the same time.
impressive transcription!🎶
cool, I worked for the longest time on these voicings during the head, cheers!
Are you sure he is playing 5 note chords in the left hand? Quartals or 4 note chords is more likely?
@@nezkeys79 Well, what he plays sound exactly like that voicing, so I'm pretty sure yeah. It feels pretty natural to play too, using your thumb for the top two notes.
@Auromaton ah fair do I tried to play it myself and it does feel natural yeah on the Eb Gb Ab C D. I'm not sure it applies to every single 5 note chord in this transcription though? Also the one in 37 was written as 4 notes Eb Ab C D
@@nezkeys79 The ones in bar 37 didn't sound as full, so I left out the G. Additionally, he uses the same voicing in the next bars too, shifted down one and two wholesteps, so he would rather use 4-note voicings throughout in those bars. But no, I'm not certain about every 5-note lh voicing, I don't think it makes that big a difference though.
Great wotk.
Pretty insane transcription. You've got some great ears!!
