this is a very common situation on freightliner cascadias. it is nothing serious but it is caused by a defective coolant tank cap which can be easily replaced.

I've learned so much from watching your videos thank you for always posting them I drive a Freightliner so I'm constantly having issues. One issue that I had just last week my coolant hose clamp came off of the radiator I guess this is a problem with aftermarket radiators for freightliners which I didn't know about

Ive never had this problem until i bought & installed the aftermarket one, dont know if that made the difference. Or how tight are u suppose to tighten the cap cause it comes loose in time ?

@@josem8080 go with freightliner parts to have the warranty, reservoir usually last 3 to 4 yrs

in this case i prefer put a tube with less hose as the olders engines has
If my bottom part of the resivor has some fluid is that bad?? I think it's called the puke tank.
How about upgrading to a aluminum resavior tank?

I had the same thing happen on my 2011 dd15 and all I did was I took out the coolant filter and never put it back in
Hey jt you didn't put it, you left it open?
Freightliner sent a bulletin out to remove the coolant filter. Thats why the newer dd15 dont have the filter.

@@feimohach yes. You can not even buy the housing that has the filter. We had to buy a whole new housing where the coolant filter is deleted. (From dealer)
@@jessevicuna9705 thanks brother, my truck is deflecting in the mornings, no visible leaks. So I don't know but it's really giving my sleepless nights
