Got to hear these speakers demonstrated at a show in Jersey! Blew my mind. And when i asked if Sammi was running the 15” subs with them at the time she just smiled and said no. Let me turn subs in for you lol I could not believe the fullness as stand alones. Then when she added the subs and we took the volume up I was sold. Saving for them now. The width of coverage David is describing is also legit. Totally blown away at the quality of these products from every aspect.

These are really expensive speakers. Is the selling point that the lows are so good, you don't need Subs?. Yes! had better start saving for these bad boys!

@@gibsonguy5240 I don’t consider them expensive to be honest with you. There is a price point and market for everyone I think. But I’m my opinion there are so many low end lower priced products out there that spend a fortune on marketing their products that people seem to think that’s the standard for quality and price. We have tried several brands over the years and honestly if you select in the same cost range they are far superior to any we have used or demoed. And also if you compare them to the likes of say Meyer speakers or even KV2 they are far less cost but will most times out perform them on SPL output and with extreme clarity. I don’t work for them either just for the record. But our next system is targeted to be BASSBOSS for sure! Plus the people I’ve met and spoke with from the company have been super helpful and kind.

I have wanted a pair of these since the first time I heard them. The clarity is unmatched, but they are not cheap and they are not light.

Looks unlike any speaker I've ever used, tested or reviewed. Spec's like a higher end RCF IMO. It would be a dream to be able to DJ weddings with a single pair of 12s on stands... Any distribution in Canada? If so, what is the warranty and are there service centres should issues arise?

Hi David. Can we use two DV12s and two BB15s together. I don’t see a video like that. And should be nice to see how it works.

Dave how is the iso horn with respect to feedback. Is the speaker any less prone to feedback by design?

It also increases GDP of the respective region or nation. Please try this instead of importing the whole units.

Quick question on this... Does this speaker weigh 63 lbs. or 50 lbs? I have seen in some places where the weight lists at 63 lbs., and others where it lists at 50 lbs.

I know it's a month old, but I still gotta reply. Let your ears do the listening, not your money. I had QSC for years. Once I bought BassBoss (SSP118 subwoofer), I never looked back. These things pound! The ergonomics might be a bit taxing, but the sound output is phenomenal. That being said... Use what you can afford and rock your party!

@@bobfleischmann5208 looking at the SSP118 now. does it handle all the extreme lows of modern music? the other brands' boxes seem to limit very quickly. different story with the BassBoss/ssp118 i hope?

@@iwillnevergetone5 - I bought the SSP118 about 3 years ago. I used to use QSC 18" subs for all my mobile DJ gigs (school dances, weddings, etc). Immediately, I could tell a difference! A single BassBoss sub outperformed 2 of my QSC subs. As far as hitting the low notes in modern music??? Oh Yes!
Now I own 3 of the BassBoss SSP118 subs. I've only used all 3 for a single gig so far (an outdoor concert at a baseball stadium) and let me tell ya... You could feel your chest pound up in the bleachers!
Also, I've never hit the limiter on the BassBoss. I had to be careful with QSC subs. The red light would occasionally blink. I've never seen it lit on BassBoss. They just keep cranking out bass no matter what I throw at them. I hope all this helps. Good luck with your decision!

@@bobfleischmann5208 that’s exactly what i wanna hear. I have the QSC KS118 and honestly it’s not cutting it. Bass-heavy music doesn’t get recreated or felt. and the limiter light stays solid too often. Hoping the ssp118 will be the answer. i need serious punch and lows. thanks friend!

@@iwillnevergetone5 you will not be disappointed with the SSP118MK2, I bought the qsc ks118 two months before the Bassboss SSP118MK2, and it isn’t even close. I leave the QSC home as a spare for emergencies. The BB shakes!

The hype is real. Bought one hoping it was as good as they say. It was better. Now on my third. I also bought the sv9 tops. They know what they’re doing. They just don’t have the marketing budget that QSC, RCF, EV etc have.
