Top comment!
Introducing the 2021 Chevrolet Ram.
Lol. Somethin tells me this joke is going to get beat to death under this comment.
The Nintendo PlayStation.... wait, that’s actually real
lol
Congrats to ca judge struck down background checks on ammo hopefully this sets in motion more gun laws being ruled unconstitutional
he got rid of ALL ammo restrictions in cali, you can ship ammo right to your door now
@@drunkpolack7612 really I didn't know that cool I'm from fl but wish the best of luck to commiefornia many gun owners over there
The Massachusetts regulation on shipping reloading components is beyond retarded. I don't even think its a law its judicial fiat.
As far as I know it's only the background was squashed and nothing was said about out of state sales cuz every bill must be appealed individually
I hope so. Hawaii is about to pass a law that you can only buy ammo for calibers registered under your name.
Eric: talks about barry
Me: I'm gonna go cry now
Same :/
😖
Barry was super cool
Barry was the man!
Barry had one? Guess I'll have to buy one now.
I’m just waiting for Glock to come out with a “Glock AR15”. I bet it would take Glock mags.
As a Glock fanboy I would buy anything Glock including dildos no homo
I thought that was the KelTec Sub 2000? (I love it w/Glock 33rd sticks.)
Kriss Vector.
Lol that sounds retarded.
@Ryan628jpn if they don't get it, joke's on them in many ways. Form, function, flexibility and even cost are just a few that are hard to beat. Only naive can't find fun or value in them.
Love hearing about Barry. RIP
The Glock 36 has been in my carry lineup for years. I rock a Vedder Light tuck appendix rig and it disappears and is very comfortable. Great video as always boys!
36 is sooo underated
I prefer the 30S. 11 rounds of 45 and nothing beats it in size. I remember when S&W released the Shield 45 and all the hype. Glock has had that pistol in the 36 for probably 20 years lol
Some years ago I was seriously considering a 36 at a gun show. Instead, I went to a different table and bought a 30S. No regrets.
30s is the best of both worlds. 36 slide on a 30 frame , can't beat it.
I love mine. G26-sized pocket pistol in .45ACP
Von Fields
I agree. It is excellent. Just stating people were excited to get a Shield in 45. I was too. But Glock released the same sized 45 carry pistol 20 years earlier.
The 30S is a sweet shooter.
I like how simple it looks , like a typical glock .
Lmao it's not a 1911
That's why I just bought the G30 Gen4!!!
Best alternative to getting 1911😎😎
I love my Glock 30. Pretty darn accurate. Carried it today and am carrying it right now actually.
Same here love my 30.
This has been my primary carry gun for years. It's very easy to conceal. The capacity does leave something to be desired, but an offside spare mag can help with that. I ended up changing out the mag bases on mine with Pierce mag extenders just for the extra purchase. It is definitely not for the recoil sensitive, and honestly forces you to have good shooting posture (I've had it fail to feed when I wasn't holding correctly). The comfiest holster I've found for it is the Crossbreed. Highly recommend this gun.
I carry a 30S every day!
I also have a G21 and G41.
I chose that particular model because it can use my G21/41 13-round mags as well!
I miss Barry :(
Who else remembers Barry?
Barry was greatness
I remember Barry.
I miss Barry. He taught me about the TKO system. RIP Young man😢
Thanks for bring this out! Been carrying my G36 with extension since 2001. My CCW gun. Update my EDC after G43X come out with the shield S15. Love since!
Why’d you down grade in caliber?
G36? "Up next" on my recommended list for this video is the G36 vs AUG.
Good boy youtube ai tried.
It's my EDC 6 + 1 and a spare mag, conceals great 👍 no sweat.
Nice to see a video on the 36, my dad carried one as a sheriff years and years ago. Iv never seen one on other than his and always found it interesting being a single stack
lol I carried a 36 for over a year and a half and people hated it but I still love my 36 :) most common comment thats so dumb just carry the 30...pssst this was the 1st single stack before it was cool :)
I'm sure it's a bit easier to carry than the 30.
36 is way cooler than a 30 plus you can get cain arms mag extension and run 9 round mags if you want ...makes the gun huge tho lol the way the 36 feels I'm had is a million times better then a 30 or 30 sf
I miss Barry! 😭 But he would be so proud of you guys and what the show has grown to! 😀
Good to hear Barry get a shout out.
Great video. Awesome to bring up a rare unicorn Glock. I have both G21 and G30 but it took years to find the G36 to complete by Glock 45acp collection. It's very accurate but wants to jump out of your hands if you don't have a firm grip. I do own 1911s, Shield 45, and XDS 45 and the G36 is keeper. Keep up the great work Eric and Chad👍
Says Barry loved and carried it... Gonna go get one now. RIP Barry.
I never did buy a G36, though I came close several times. Then I found the 30S. I love it. No 36 for me. ;)
Glock 30
I’ve had one for years. Love that little thing
I have a Glock.45acp model 30 wish you would do a review on it
Nice video fellas.
I bought one when it first came out and carried it for years. Still have it. I don't have a lot of good things to say about it except that it was very comfortable to carry IWB.
how many rounds have you fired so far, any jams?
@@gutadin5 Maybe a couple hundred FMJ and a good bit of carry ammo. No jams that I can recall, but Glocks rarely do.
By the way, to give some context to what I wrote originally, here's the good and the bad.
The Good: High quality, reliable, durable, accurate, and lightweight. Sights are easily changeable and the trigger can be modded, if you want.
The Bad: Low capacity, awful trigger, uncomfortable grip (all of these things compared to other EDC type pistols and even other Glock models).
I would highly recommend a G19 or G30 (if .45ACP is what you want to run).
Used to carry a G36 as my EDC. It rode well, low print. And I’m a smaller guy. It trained well too. Carried glasier rounds, good package. Thank you for the review. Memory lane.
Great little handgun. I wanted to like the 36, but the thin grip just never felt right to me. It kind of reminds me of the Shield in that respect.
@@harisinam4078 Recoil has never been an issue for me. I have do have a 30, just not a 30s.
Great video. I'm super into the 10mm round right now and would love to see a video on the Glock 29! I'm thinking that'll be my next pew pew purchase
I have a G30 SF and love how soft shooting and accurate that gun is. Part of that is due to the width, which I appreciate. It's a great gun to have if you don't want to deal with a 10 mm.
There are conversion kits to change 45 ACP to 10 mm.
I own & EDC a Glock G30SF G3 & it’s one absolute solid built pistol. Very smooth slide very smooth trigger & very little recoil.
Had one in the past, it's the one Glock I would like to have back in the inventory. Lol felt great , had tritium night sights , nice and compact!
Just about a year ago I went to my local gun store to buy a glock 36 and I ended up buying a 45 shield. It just felt much better in my hand....like I would be able to control it better and I have been happy with the shield. But then last Fall I walked in to the shop intending to buy a bodyguard and walked out with a glock 42 for the same reason. It just fit me better. I'm happy with both guns.
Just bought a 36 yesterday and then this video drops.
I've been every day carrying one, love the 45 and its great with the dad bod
I love my Glock 30, and carry it absolutely everywhere!!
I found the grip to be somewhat wider side to side on the G30 making it uncomfortable to my hand compared to either the G22 or the G41. The reduced capacity in the G36 is an issue, but I am still going to have a look at one when I can find one locally.
I love my 36, and I am planning on buying a Glock 30 for winter carry.
Glock 30sf is beast, I think the glock 30s is the way to go
Smitty Clutch I love my 30s
DAN From the SOUTH same here
I just bought one a couple weeks ago! Best $500 I ever spent. Way more concealable than a 1911 also
Eric slimming up a bit. Keep it up bro!!!!!!
I have and love my 36 been saying it’s the 1911 by glock lol
my carry gun is the glock 26, i added the +2 extension to the magazines, this gives this sweet gun a 12 + 1 capacity with a full grip. it also accepts all glock double stack 9 mm magazines even the fun stick that gives this sweetheart a 33 + 1 round capability
Compromised calibers like the 9mm helps with extra capacity
Good stuff!
Check out the 30s then...36 slide, 30sf frame...my favorite carry
Wouldn't want one, but I can't believe this is the first I'm hearing of this.
It wasn't even that popular when it was new. The Glock 30 is almost nearly the same size, not meaningfully thicker and holds 10 rounds in the mag, and is compatible with the Glock 21 magazines.
I've shot one, it was... okay. I'm not a Glock guy (I carry revolvers and shoot 1911s for fun), I just can't hit with them as well as I think I should. Dunno if it's the weird triggers or the grip angle or what, they're just not for me. None of the polymer striker pistols do anything for me, for that matter.
Glocks are fine pistols, and I wouldn't suggest otherwise. I think Glock guys don't really want a single-stack .45, and single-stack .45 guys don't really want a Glock. I've only ever seen three or four 36s, and I don't think I've ever met anyone who owned one. If I were going to have a Glock, it probably would be this one, though, in fairness.
I nearly bought one of those, but after holding it in hand I was considering going for the Glock 30 so I tried it on the range and bought a HK USP Compact .45 after that.
Never looked back.
Tom Wessel Hy I shot a full size. If you ever run outta ammo you can use it as a club 🤣 they are so heavy the compact must be great tho
Went to buy a Honda and ended up buying a bmw huh 👍
I honestly shot one but I prefer s&w m&p 9mm 2.0
Glock > HK... should have bought a G29.
HK > Glock. It’s not even close.
I carried a Colt Defender lightweight 45acp from 1998-1999 until a few months ago. Very accurate, reliable and easily concealed. I bought a G 30 gen4. Surprisingly accurate and concealable with higher capacity. Reliability is a given and the trigger has definitely been improved. Weight is a little more, with the size being almost a clone to the G 19. Thickness is still a little more than I like. All in all, really a very good weapon. I would love to see you test some ammo with a G30 at different yardage, with different bullet weights and types.
Nice video!
Keep'em coming!
Cool stuff 👍 thanks
man, if an ideal combination of both existed we would lose so much fun watching the two groups fighting each other. :D
I always figured the 36 to be a summer gun for 21/30 guys. It'll go into a pocket when your summer clothes won't allow a holster. Mine goes into the safe in the fall, when I start wearing a cover garment.
The 45acp double stack is the model 30. Factory mags are 10 shot with a pinky extension, flush 9 shot, as well as use the model 21 13shot mags. ETS makes mags for it also that work.
You can get the X-Grip sleeves for the G21 mags and use them for the 30 as well.
I love my g36. especially with a can. Kind of a rare animal. best feeling glock in my hand. Just replace the mag base plate with a + 0 finger groove.
I got luck and have one of my magazines with the +1 extension. Going to get two of the +0 for my other two magazines. It definitely makes a difference on the grip I agree.
As always nice review video👌👏. Anything on Glock G21 .45 ACP in future Sir.Carry on the good work and stay safe👍🤙.God Bless🙏🙏🙏.
I really like my Glock 30S. I'm surprised it's not more popular.
Probably more popular than we think , seems a lot of us commenting have one.
Love my G30SF, so accurate and of course reliable as hell.
Finally! A 1911 that’s mostly plastic! Just what I wanted.
My everyday carry with a +1 mag extension. Had it a long time. All the pluses of a Glock 19 for carrying 8rds of 45. Here in CA we can only have 10 rds so best for me and easy to Conceal.
Bought this as my first cc like 12 years ago. Frying pan finish. Love it now even more up in Northern Minnesota as a forest / camping bear defense cc
Great echo on that Range!👏👏
I seen the GIF and said W.T.F? Is pretty neat though, y'all taught me something today. 👍
Wow Barry... blast from the past.
I just bought one and I love it perfect gun for me to carry and my bedside gun. I just bought plus 1 extension and I’m hoping someone comes up with 8 round mag one day.
I've heard shield arms has one.
Love the pistol range set up, would like to know the distance to each group of targets? Did I miss it in another video?
Love these compact .45’s!! I carry my Springfield XDS with an extra clip to compensate for the low capacity. But be warned you will learn what recoil is and how to deal with it!
Please don't call it a clip it is a magazine!
Aaron Hughey does it really matter
Yes it does matter. an recoil, i handload my 357 mag revolver with 180 grain hollow points
@@aaronhughey2134 a magazine shouldn't hold over 10 clip's 😂😂 according to Joe Biden, LOL
@@Loadstar720 it does matter, when at a gun shop when you call it that the person dealing with you immediately assumes you know nothing about guns. There are guns that take clips. But generally the movies have characters that call them clips and I guess it's slang. But if know a bit about guns don't make yourself look like a thug, criminal or moron. You don't want that.
I have an 30S and love the feel of it
I carry a Glock 30s 45 and it’s a great pistol
Single stack 10mm would be amazing.
I love my G36! I've had it for years. I replaced the barrel with a lone wolf 416r stainless barrel and I run 45 super through it. Nice little Powerhouse! I carry it everyday.
sheesh u carry 45 super as edc? 😍😮
I have the 30. Its a good gun. I wish it had the same aftermarket support as the 19.
girls complained of recoil and weight.
I bought one of these straight from glock, I used the blue label program. Cool pistol, was my carry for awhile. A good option for .45 carry for sure.
I am so excited for this gun. I am looking for an edc and do not like to carry my G30. It is too fat. Thanks for another great video.
A great mix of the two is the 30s which i believe may be a slimmer than normal 30 frame and the 36 slide width. Mine fits in most glock 19 holsters. Doesn’t feel too far off from a 19 to me. FWIW
Love it
I bought my G36 for 285 with 5 mags. Awesome low recoil. 45acp I love it!
I carry a Glock 21 IWB in the wintertime when I can wear a jacket or sweater. The 13+1 capacity and the smooth shooting of 45acp is awesome. I could see carrying the 36 in summertime when you are wearing a tshirt or something, or when you might face consequences if discovered carrying.
You Tore Up Those Melons Eric 😮😮😀 I Love The Steel Target Range 😀
Just recently picked up the 19x . I've shot many glocks but just never had the privilege of owning one until now. Awesome and reliable firearms
You're right, it was the first single stack Glock. I like it a lot. I've had one for many years, and used to carry it before Glock offered the single stack 9 mm offerings. Now I usually carry a 43, or 48.
My EDC. I carry it in a sticky holster. I have a draw full of holsters. The sticky is by far the best. Only $20. I drove for 2 hours with my 36 and a sticky holster and forgot I was wearing. So comfortable
I’ve had the Glock G36 and the Glock G30 but once the Glock G30s came out I saw no need for the G36 to G30.
36 is a bit slimmer as you know. Easier to carry for some people. Including myself.
Man I miss seeing Barry on the channel. Gonna watch some old videos now.
Had one about 6 years ago and traded it for a Glock 19. Love the gun but it was picky about ammo. Fed steel and aluminum but hated brass ammo, go figure. It didn’t have the rail back then. It was a sweet shooter. Now I have a Glock 30S and it rocks.
Was going thro the handgun playlist and noticed you guys still haven’t reviewed a VP9 or any VP series handgun. Diff would like to see a review on one and get your guys input on the pistol.
That’s pretty sweet dude. I actually just met a good dude running the local machine shop and he had one on his hip. Then I noticed a freakin line of mags for the 36 at the local class 3 the next day
How do you compare this to a Springfield XDS Mod 2 in 45 acp? I'm definitely a 45 acp guy and for concealment like the compact single stack.
Hey will you guys do a review on a Henry big boy x model i would like to see it in 44 mag/spl please I would love to see one on it cause I noticed it’s a really nice gun and there’s few videos on it and I would like to see a video on it which it is pretty famous but it seems like there ain’t enough videos on it
Thank you
First pistol I ever purchased over 15 years ago. Added pierce magazine plates for my pinky and still carry today.
Nice!
The intro 😂 “but glock actually makes a 1911”
Hey yall guys need to do a video on top 5 military surplus semiautomatic hand guns
The Shield also comes in 45 acp as well and fills the same niche. I like mine.
Feels great in the hand and fairly thin.
That it shoots? What makes it better than a 1911? How's the trigger? It's nice to know but I have my eye on a Rock Island Armory 45 or TCM model.
Trying to get a 10mm conversation barrel made for one of these see how that works out. Would be a hell of a carry gun in 10mm
I don't know if you've done this type of video already but can you make a video recommending the best 9mm round to choose
Dude i was expecting it to jam like hell...
Wish I could hear more about Barry. He was great!
A gel test with this would be amazing!!
I have the XD MOD2 45acp. It's the very best of both worlds. Slim and compact with 10 or full size 13 round mags.
Just a excellent video on the glock 36 gen4 with a light rail if you could find one buy it 👍
