Hello! Really enjoyed hearing you play! As a harp player on a budget, I wanted to ask…of all the effects which do you recommend as aiding in delivering that Chicago Blues sound? (eg “bluesy crunch” multi note aka non-single note draw) Many thanks, Ian Subbed, 👍🏻
Pedals and effects are up to each player to determine whether or not to use them. Some have had the fortune of developing their own or in conjunction with others, be they engineers or what have you. If you base the reason to use or buy because a "Professional" player is using it you may lose out on a very good or excellent enhancement to your style of playing and to your ear. Who do you play for? Your own satisfaction or the adulation of others? Only you can answer that. As for me, I use what works for me tonally and where I am at in my playing mind at the time. All things change. Lone Wolf pedals are a boon to the player who both understands them and are looking to elevate their playing through there use. If it doesn't work for you just don't use them .
What if playing for the adulation of others makes me happy as a musician & in this case as a harp player? I do get what you’re saying I believe. In short, you’re reminding other harpists that a pedal can change your sound yes…but be cautious about how it changes your sound as one could lose their individual play style. Am I close? My style is very tight, lip pursed draws & clean singular bends etc…I’m looking to get a less clean, multi note “Chitown” blues. If this makes sense? I could use a pedal I’m sure! Where to start?
I don't mean to sound disrespectful Marko, but the word 'novelty' shouldn't be used when discussing harmonica related issues. It makes it sound as though the harmonica and harp related equipment came out of a toy show-bag from your local fair and does not paint our instrument or our other harmonica related gear in a manner deserving of its capabilities. You are a great player, Marko, and by no means am l intentionally being a hater. It may be simply an issue of the interpretation. Good luck to you, my friend!!
I am a professional, I play on a Lone Wolf Blues 40W amp, and when I play on stage far from home, there is always backline on the spot. OK But when I play in a small place where there is no room, I am very happy to have "the Boogieman" because I can plug it into a PA system and I have a big sound with more Analog delay on the pedal in addition. Maybe your professional friends have not had the opportunity to try "the Boogieman" and that may be what they like.
Merci, tres bein! I just learned something about a pedal I have been foolin around with for a year. Thanks so much!!! T

Sorry, I do not understand?
why aren't pros like wilson, estrin hummel harman using this?
There are many pros who use this pedal, and Hummel, Harman, Estrin and Wilson already have their old material and they are satisfied.
They all use vintage tube amps. I know we have opened for them. I think I want this pedal only to save my back from lugging all my amp, & PA..

Just don't want to pay for a pedal that sounds solid state.. You do You.

It would help if someone demonstrated this that spoke English!
+railjumper99 is subtitled in English
You have to put the subtitles on the video.
