I couldn't find "one video" with my same issue. So I found out today what the issue is, and I ordered the bolt. I decided to come back to UA-cam one more time to make sure I couldn't find another person and I see your video lol. At least I know what to do when my part gets here now. Thanks‼
My part was supposed to come in tomorrow, but it can't early today. I just finished putting it in, and it works fine now. It only took about 10-15 min thanks to your video. I appreciate it sir💯
Hi. You have to google the specs and find the mortise model. I only know this mortise is widely used, but I don't know about the hundreds of models that Samsung make.

A quick google seems to be the same mortise. Do read the specs to make sure AML 220 or 240, where both are are similar to use. I can’t install for you 😅

Mine was mortise issue, which can still hear the motor turning, but can't engage. If you experience the same then can replace mortise as per the video.

To engage the lock, you can also press in the metal thingy below the bolt. Did you try press that fully in, and see how? If the bolt doesn't come out, the new mortise could be faulty too. Maybe contact seller and ask.
I have the same problema but replacement parts in my country are hard to find. Is it possible to fix it instead of replacing it? Have you tried to open the broken mortise to see what was wrong with it? A video of that would be so helpful for us who wants to fix it instead of replacing it
I had an opposite issue. The unlock doesn't work correctly. It fully unlock and protrude out a little right after it fully retract back. The low battery chime keep playing even my batteries are brand new.. not sure if a new mortise lock will solve this... Mine at 5 years tooooo

Hi Junda, I was searching high and low and am glad I found your video! I have the same problem as Chengsoonng, no motor pushing the bolt sound. There's just simply no reaction when the door is closed. But I am able to use manual key to lock and unlock. Any idea of this also the mortise issue? Mine is SHS-P718. The first time this Samsung lock spoil is around 4 years, then we went back to the distributor to get it repaired at a cost (can't recall how much but dont remember it was cheap). Then now this is the second time it spoilt in another 3 years time. Samsung digital locks lifespan is really not worth it's price.

I would think so since this mortise is very widely used. But best to check your specs, or dismantle to confirm.

Hi. My door has the same beeping sound and keep open automatically. Is this the default when mortise is faulty?
Yes it will beep, and the mortise keep trying to lock, while in unlocked position.

I did attempt to open up the mortise and see if any of the gear is loose or what. But I couldn’t make make it work. It’s not hard to open it up.
Luclily, I didn't need to buy a new one, I just hit it on the floor a couple times and the motor suddenly work again!

If the battery ok, the panel ok, then likely is the mortise no longer working.
Is it mean. If there totally no sound , mean it not working anymore. Mena have to replace a new lock instead ?
Same issue as yours. Definitely seem like mortise if your keypad & fingerprint & the open door remote is working.
Then the problem should be mortised
