The books were amazing and deal with a timeline spanning hundreds of years, so will be interesting to see how they do this

The visuals look epic, but will the story presented be epic enough for ten episodes. I hope so. I have my fingers crossed.
The series is planned to be 80 episodes total. 8 seasons of this. Super exciting. There’s a video uploaded today with one of the show runners talking about adapting it to a show. Pretty interesting points in there

I am so juiced for this. This is beyond epic.
I'm seriously considering getting a subscription to this service just to watch this show. $4.99 a month seems like it's worth it, and there might be some other shows that are good on the service. And if not, I'll just cancel when the season is finished.
You won’t regret it. Ted Lasso, For All Mankind, The Morning Show, Defending Jacob are some of the really good Apple TV+ shows worth signing up for.

You guys need to check out the Mini-Series "Devs" by Alex Garland. It's incredible, very very interesting, with one of the best cinematograpy I've ever seen!!!

They have started filming season 3. So there's hope. I just wish more people discover this so it doesn't gets canceled before they finish the entire story
They are gearing up for production of another TV series Sisterhood of Dune. Lost in Space Season 3 next year. A second TV Series for Lord of the Rings is gearing up as well. Wheel Of Time also at the end of this year.

That was a heckova trailer. Enjoyed the books. Maybe not my favourite series but a worthy one to read. Still not sold on Disney+ but I have always been standoffish when companies get all uber-proprietary.
This is gonna be on AppleTV+ not Disney+
If it were in theaters, they could not do the story justice. A series allow them to really tell it as much as it would be more enjoyable visually on the big screen. Partly why I wish Dune was a series as well. There is just too much depth that will be cut again to put it out in two films. Heck even the miniseries attempts seemed rushed.
I agree with that. I just wish I could choose to watch this in theaters, like every week there was one showing cause it looks amazing
@@NerdyNightly I feel the same way. Which is why I'm saving for a home theater style television. I've got the perfect wall for it in our finished basement. Would even allow for a theater style wide screen. Not as big as a true theater but it'll accommodate a huge screen. I can compromise.
This can be epic if they follow source material. Not exactly because there is some changes that usually happen. Keep woke stuff out that is contrary to the spirit of the story and make it over multiple seasons.
They've completely butchered it.
