We used thin dry bags for the radios…we found when wet the water resistant ones work well but if you jump more that 20ft…the speakers get waterlogged and won’t work at all. So whistles were the back up…the next day when using a dry bag they worked great the entire day.

Exactly like our experience, which is why we got those waterproof covers ourselves, always good to be prepared with a backup though!
