I have my 2019 CHR. LOVE IT, no other words. It the first 4cyl Ive had in a long time but with how fuel prices are now, $40 (Cdn) gets me 3/4 a tank, im not complaining. What it lacks in engine power it gains in every other way.
I caution you not to rely on it. Yes, it will accelerate, brake, and yes steer itself, but do not think or feel for a second this is some kind of autonomous self-driving mode. It relies on the sensor in the front grill. Should that sensor become obstructed for any reason you might just get yourself or others injured or killed. Toyota understands this which is why they don't allow you to take your hand off the steering wheel for more than a handful of seconds before this mode will turn itself off and return to manual driving. It is a neat discovery and feature as long as you don't rely on it to drive the car for you. I use it sometimes to momentarily scare my passengers for a few seconds. 😆 (Not during busy highway/street traffic)
