I have hunt that WMA for over 20 years, they are several mounds and artifacts from native indigenous people. The Spaniards planted orange trees that you can still see and eat oranges from the offspring of the original trees. A lot of seminoles (not original from FL) took refuge in those areas too. Beautiful scenery. If you go by boat is better you can get to the end of the trail on Indian field. Do not go unarmed to those places!!!!!
