Cracking vid mate absolutely love it and happy new year 🎉 I had the same issue on lures just come back from jurien bay an blokes where catching 40 to 50 cm tailor most casts I tried on lures an stick baits on my 2-4 kg whiting rod an couldn't get a take /hook up was so frustrating.. great vid man can't wait for the next upload

Nice one Jack. I love a feed of tailor. I'd suggest a smaller lure next time, maybe a 20gm metal or 100mm stickbait. Though as you said, it may have been the sun.

Love the videos. Been in oz for almost 18 months and yours and saltfix videos have been so informative and give the right info to find the right spots where the fish are. Also what gear to use for the best result. Ive caught some cracking fish just from watching your videos. Keep them coming in 2025

Hey mate 👋 thanks for watching! Sunrise/sunset I find is key for the tailor. If you fish any beach at sunrise/set with burley flowing, a pilchard on a set of ganged hooks you are in with a chance ✅ I fish once a week in the weekend so regardless of the conditions I’m going to give some form of fishing a crack. Time on the water will increase your chances ✅🎣
