Okay, this is all shocking and frankly a huge jerk move by the people of ExGearLabs, but I'm also genuinely confused. Based on both the video on the extremegearlabs6885 channel linking to this channel and the first video you guys uploaded to this channel, I was under the *heavy* impression that Riders Underground was the team working on Sonic Riders DX updates, as what I heard from both of them implied that was the case even after watching them multiple times. Was I wrong? Did I misunderstand something? I know you uploaded a video about "Sonic Riders Future", but that looked like a combination of DX and Regravitified to me rather than a new project. Well whatever the case, I'm looking forward to your guys' release of Sonic Riders Future, and after this, I think I'll personally distance myself from ExGearLabs' own "Riders DX" and "Riders Regravitified". I just feel like they can't be trusted after this incident.
Riders Underground was established by former key staff from Extreme Gear Labs, including coders, testers, artists and etc who were not satisfied with those in administrative authority over their development environment. The initial angle was to just make a new ExGL and Riders DX away from ExGL since much of the assets and branding were created by the people who had left, but it ended up as a total rebrand to make distance from the people using the old name. Sonic Riders Future is essentially a fork of DX that Underground is working on with the same design philosophy that they held for DX. The team of Extreme Gear Labs that is working on the 'original' branch of DX is around one fifth of the size it saw at its peak, currently three or four people depending on how you want to count it, and two of whom were largely absent by the time of this split.
Yeah we can all agree AirKings a bitch, hopefully we can move on from this conflict now that AK made a doc, and yall have snapped back. Also happy yall stated that in the case they do clap back yall just gonna stay silent. Have a good day and good luck on development!
While there is some credible validity to some of the "misconceptions" and half-truths you outline in your response document, and while the document clearly shows instances of terrible behavior on both sides, most of Riders Underground's responses to the more serious allegations will start with "We do not condone such actions any longer nor do we agree with this stance" and are immediately followed up with these weird ass contrarian or apologist statements about why it was a little justified or that said person wasn't really aware of what they were doing "because they said so". Your follow-up sentiments and attitude on the actual tangible instances of wrongdoing on the Riders Underground's part are incredibly weak and show a great lack of actual maturity. The screenshots from both sides only really serve to indicate just how awful all of you are. To merely state that this happened 2 years ago to make it seem as if that's supposed to imply inner change within the community is such a joke. In all, this document does very little to support any reason to respect the Riders Underground devs and only serves as a vehicle to throw AirKingNeo's shit back in his face. This is not the appropriate way to handle situations like this.
I read the whole thing, frankly ill keep supporting Air King Neo since the whole thing you posted reads of ''yeah he weas bullied, pressured and discriminated against whilst dealing with his mental health BUT BUUUUUUUT he also did bad stuff so is all right'' and the riders underground community does not inspire much confidence, im glad yall broke up cuz you people toxic as hell
Hi there, we believe there may have been a slight misunderstanding in the message received from this. This is not something we put together to say, "We did bad but so did he, so it's even". Ultimately, we do regret our own past actions which were rightfully called out both for the community and for those at Extreme Gear Labs, and we have been doing our best to continue growing as people. However, we also believe that while we are taking accountability for our own actions, AirKingNeo and by extension Extreme Gear Labs needs to also take accountability for their own misdeeds to the community, especially to certain members who left the community entirely who didn't do anything to AirKingNeo. In the end, we certainly understand your choice in who you support.

Crazy how early TE staff moved to DX and then many of those moved to Underground and Future and each new one gets involved in MORE DRAMA
