Hi, I 'm a 14 year old beginner smith. Thank you for all the advice you have given in your videos. Your videos have helped me understand this craft a lot more than I could have on my own. Do you think you could make a video on forging a cut off hardy? Thank you and God bless.

Brilliant video, good on you for teaching people new to the craft how to make something so important. There is one thing I’m curious about, would it be possible to hot cut a hole in the part big enough for drifting, I don’t have a particularly large hardy hole on my anvil. So I was wondering if it would be possible to add another use to a tool such as the one you created and clamp it to the anvil and overhand it off the edge with hole cut into it for drifting hammer and axe heads.

@@ChristCenteredIronworks Ok, then my question is this useful for all rivet sizes? I will use copper, maybe brass wire, 16 or 18 ga. Not sure. Is it smooth and will accommodate smaller wire for jewelry making?

Could you stamp the touch mark in the bottom of the rivet cup itself,
so every rivet comes out with the mark on it ?

where do you get these kind of rivets? I need some to repair an old bike part with broken rivets, but the only thing I can find are those stupid pop rivets

    Your metrics are off a bit, 1/2" is 13mm, 9/16 is 14 mm and 5/8 is 16 mm, wrenches don't lie!!😜😃
