Hello Julia, my name is Alain, I am 65 years old and I live in France, I started playing the piano a little less than 2 years ago, I love your lessons and your style on the piano, thank you for your work and thank you for teaching us, it's very nice of you, have a nice day and… Let's Play 😊
Thank you Julia, I am 70 years old and I am just learning the piano. This is a great first try to play boogie woogie! I will practice, practice and practice.
Hi Julia greetings from Holland and I like your way of showing how to play the piano and yes I am very interesting in how to play solo’s and maybe improvise . Have special courses to learn this all?
Hi, greetings to Holland! Thank you so much for your kind words. I don’t have courses yet, just my UA-cam lessons, but I’m planning to create some in the near future.
Thank you! I am a beginner. I saw the flap about the Chinese communists and the British piano player. Now I am hooked on Boogie Woogie. Thank you for getting me going! :)
I've knowm this pattern for years from playing accordion as a kid, but this video has inspired me to play it as boogie woogie on the piano. Thank you! More lessons please!
Julia thank you…… This is perfect for me, I am finding boogie a little more difficult than I expected…….Thank you for emphasising the shuffle….I want to learn a lot of different riffs as an intro into this style….This riff you are showing me today will be my fourth riff all is going good……I can play the grace notes… EDIT I need to learn to bounce….
Definitely show the runs and how they are made - e.g. which notes 'go' with C, F, and G. I would never have thought to play the E-flat/D-sharp as part of this because I would think of it as a 'C minor chord' and expect it to be dissonant against a C or G major, but by golly it works!
Excellent video Julia, i've been studying books and videos of Arthur Migliazza but i think it is high level for me, but yours is easy to understand. Thank you
@@playitwithjulia Thank you for your reply. I must add that I've watched your other videos and I think you're a great musician!!! I'm Italian instead. I am going to spend my next holiday swimming and learning to play the Bogie Bogie from your tutorials 🙂. Bye ... go on so
