the chamber 11 slimes challenge is unironically the most sweatiest chamber 11 ever. The hardest part about it is the second part where the cryo slimes have long range attacks as well as the cryo breath and not to mention the freeze even if you simply touch the slimes without getting attacked
Yeah this is literally the first Abyss since Furina's release that I didn't get 36* by just running through with my usual teams once. And it wasn't because of floor 12. So I just unretired Venti for a sec to swirl them all into a big slime smoothie.

The hardest for me was Floor 12 Chamber 1, the time was very tight for my power team. Retried 7 times to take note the proper rotation and mastery over the spawn points. The team that managed to blitz through Floor 12: 1st Half: Neuvillette - Furina - Kazuha - Charlotte 2nd Half: AlHaitham - Yelan - Nahida - Kuki Changed my teams only once to adapt, halfway through my retries in Chamber 1. Original team that was supposed to blitz through Floor 12: 1st Half: Neuvilette - Furina - *Fischl* - *Jean* 2nd Half: AlHaitham - *Xingqui* - Nahida - Kuki

Finally, a abyss reset that hasn't both cryo shield and dendro immune enemies on both sides to counter my Nilou team. It had been two patches of spiral abyss reset consecutively... imagine how mad was I at that.

I had never any problems clearing floor 11 but this cycle…… WHO CREATED THIS FLOOR ?! THIS HYDRO THINGYS KILLED MY ARLECCINO IN TWO HITS. I wasn’t able to do anything. So I tried with a Nahida Boom Boom Team (Nilou Bloom) but the Cyro slimes completely destroyed the thing you need to protect. My Sethos is c5 so I will try the team you used there (after I leveled Sethos up)
You don't need to use the same team for all chambers. You can 0-3-3 stars floor 11. And re challenge only the first chamber with different team to get all 9 stars
Sevy I love you and your guides, I've always making sure to check your guides before attempting a new abyss lineup run. As a skill issue player, you really helps with positioning and grouping ♥️
These were the team comps I used for Floor 11 Chamber 1: Team 1: Barbara, Furina, Mona, Kaeya Team 2: Tighnari, Anemo Traveler, Bennett, Hu Tao I came up with a strategy as well with these teams and using that it took me about 2 hours to beat Chamber 1 alone... Admittedly it was really annoying but despite that I enjoyed the challenge.

Instead of something difficult but fun the devs simply make it more waves. 33 stars and satisfied. More waves of enemies is not worth racing the clock, not to mention the devs ***still** haven't: 1) Removed the invincibility animations from Maguu Kenti (20 or so seconds). Plus it's aggravating having ICD on reactions on abyss lector that has its elemental shield up 2) Added option to restart only 2nd half if happy with your time in first half.
This abyss made me think that I'm not done building my abyss teams even after getting 36 stars in every abyss since 2.5 onwards. I can only get 2 stars on the first 2 chambers, but 3 stars on the last one. Hopefully I can finally 36 star this abyss. Gonna follow your guide Sevy!

I am SO CLOSE to 36 stars, if I had 20 more seconds I could get it, so I came back to see if there were any particular tips and just realised Sevy didn't have even 10 seconds left for the timer... what hope do I have 😭
IKR!!?😭 I tried to solo from floor 9-11 with just neuvillete and arlechinno, but the second half of the 1st chamber of floor 11 had too many slimes for my arlechinno to handle. So much so that I needed to bring kazuha so he could group the slimes and stagger them long enough for arlechinno to kill them.
Over 6mil HP combined each chamber. Having the HP tilt towards top in 1 and then heavily towards bottom is the difficulty to me. Otherwise just switch teams as Sevy has shown. That's a callback to the later Sumeru Abysses in which I had to redo the first chamber for full stars.

Looks rough! I saw Iwintoloose's guide on this Abyss cycle and he ended up using Mona and a well invested Chevy to plow through it. Glad to see you were able to do it with a fully 4 star team. Anyway, good video!

The first chamber of floor 12 was nasty, so many enemies. But on the other hand it's just nice to have some AOE content instead of yet another boss rush abyss. I finally got to play my Venti again. 😁
Thanks Sevy. I finally managed to complete the Spiral Abyss after months of not trying. For the past few months, I lost most of motivation to pull and build characters because I thought no matter how hard I tried, I wouldn't clear it without high constellation 5 stars. I managed to clear 12-1 second chamber with mono hydro right on the 7th minute. As for the consecrated beast, thank god they can be frozen; I just kept them frozen with Ayaka, Kokomi and Furina combos. If you guys are struggling, I would recommend trying different teams; maybe a different team would suit your playstyle better.
Just realized how sethos looks so clean to play if you play him right. He's clunky in my books but that's just because I'm so bad at playing him in general lmao
The key is not spamming normal to avoid the long animation of the 3rd combo string. You want to keep looping 1-2-walk cancel to get that smooth pewpew feel you see in the video.
Man this Abyss is just as bad as the last one. 12-2 and 2-3 were so easy but 12-1 I just cannot kill it on time, even with C0R1 Neuvi and Furina. Guess I will need to retry more but damn Hoyo really made the Abyss not fun.
triple kenki from the last 12-1 were easy and fast, even with 4 star only team it should be a single rotation clear (about 30-35 seconds), you just need to know how to group all three together. You should have more than enough time to clear second half.
I came up with pretty good teams for this Abyss thanks to your help! Honestly I'm just shocked by how annoying floor 11 chamber one was. It feels like Neuvillette is almost required when there are so many waves of enemies on floor 12...
You make it look so easy. I am content with 33*. I used to 36. Even with all 5*,it is so tiring and depending on the device, it is even harder 😗. I am dissapointed that 36* is 100 gems instead of 50 😭.
Floor 12-1 was so difficult for me, I tried arlecchino hypercarry and nilou bloom almost 10 times, each time was still far from clearing. I ended up switching the second half to the team you showcased, with ayato instead of sucrose because mine wasn’t leveled up. Eventually, I managed to clear it with about 15 seconds spare time. I never used beidou before, but I also never knew she was this good. Even with a horrible ratio of 72/111, it felt pretty good.
All the characters in the video are with me ♥🥰 Before I watch your video I played Abyss but I couldn't get past Fleur 11:2 because of the water jet monsters. Now I'll use your video as a reference and build Kirara and the other character Lector and then I'll try it Wish me luck 🤧♥

Tbh it's not even hard it's just a dps check on a set timer when ppl said they want harder content they want difficult enemies...jacking the enemies hp and putting you on a timer isn't exactly hard content lol
@kyori75 giving enemies more attack patterns and higher damage....I just don't see a dps check as harder content especially since artifacts have like 7 layers of rng or you can just whale
I hate this game. I have strong 5* units which are VERY well built and yet i cant do it max stars. Im convinced im just stupid and this game is not for me. Seeing others clear with only 4* with even worse builds makes me so angry. Im done

Finally got to 36-star this, I wasn't able to last patch :'D. Triple hydro was needed for 12-1 2nd half. I used Raiden, Xingqiu, Kokomi, and Furina which got me a 3-star for chamber 1. I retried for the rest of the chambers by using my best dps team for 1st half which is Arlecchino overload and for 2nd halves just use your best hyperbloom teams.
fun fact: you can 3 star floor 11-1 without finishing 11-3, that way you can use your usual team to get 3 stars on the other chambers then come back to chamber 1 with a different team (preferrably with venti in second half) to get your last stars and leave floor 11 is a breeze for me because of it

Having Venti on my Archon only collection team and Sucrose 2nd team as DPS on floor 11-1 saved me. Dang they really recreated this monolith defense thing in the abyss where veteran players who didn't have Venti used to run Ningguang and Geo Traveller just to block enemy projectiles lol
I was dreading this going in but it turned out to be really easy if you happen to have the exact units to counter each chamber. I did Scara/Zhongli/Faruzan/Bennett and Neuvi/Furina/Jean/Yelan (just to break the herald shields) for first chamber, then Nahida/Yelan/Xingqiu/Kuki and Neuvi/Zhongli/Furina/Jean for second half. Without Neuvillette it sounds like hell tbh For floor 11, I did Neuvi/Zhongli/Furina/Jean and Wrio/XL/Kazuha/Bennett and it worked great
i used rational on first side and mono hydro with kokomi driver for 2nd. first floor was the hardest one. had to retry way too many times for that one. but was fun nonetheless. i hope we get more abysses like this tbh lol.
I'm always 6 seconds short on first chamber ;-; Update: Already cleared it!! I did Mono-Geo first half, and a taser team with Kazu-Neuvi. I had to change teams for chambers 2 and 3 tho.
quick question here: if you three star 12-1 with a team, then change teams and 6 star 12-2 and 12-3, if in the second run you dont three star 12-1 do you still get the full rewards?
Yep. Once you get the stars for a chamber, they're yours to keep until the cycle resets. So you can just make a team that will do well in the last chamber and prioritize getting 3* there, so that you don't have to redo the entire floor if you fumbled the last chamber. (guess who believed for a very long time that new results overwrite old ones.)

Instead of something difficult but fun the devs simply make it more waves.
33 stars and satisfied. More waves of enemies is not worth racing the clock, not to mention the devs ***still** haven't:
1) Removed the invincibility animations from Maguu Kenti (20 or so seconds). Plus it's aggravating having ICD on reactions on abyss lector that has its elemental shield up
2) Added option to restart only 2nd half if happy with your time in first half.
the second option is a must QoL feature
There is no way ill be able to do this 4* only. Sevy is honestly among the best genshin players out there

This abyss made me think that I'm not done building my abyss teams even after getting 36 stars in every abyss since 2.5 onwards. I can only get 2 stars on the first 2 chambers, but 3 stars on the last one. Hopefully I can finally 36 star this abyss. Gonna follow your guide Sevy!

I am SO CLOSE to 36 stars, if I had 20 more seconds I could get it, so I came back to see if there were any particular tips and just realised Sevy didn't have even 10 seconds left for the timer... what hope do I have 😭

Get a grouper. Kazuha Venti sucrose will do fine. For the second half definitely go with benney and xiangling

IKR!!?😭 I tried to solo from floor 9-11 with just neuvillete and arlechinno, but the second half of the 1st chamber of floor 11 had too many slimes for my arlechinno to handle. So much so that I needed to bring kazuha so he could group the slimes and stagger them long enough for arlechinno to kill them.
Over 6mil HP combined each chamber. Having the HP tilt towards top in 1 and then heavily towards bottom is the difficulty to me. Otherwise just switch teams as Sevy has shown. That's a callback to the later Sumeru Abysses in which I had to redo the first chamber for full stars.

Abyss X.7 are the hardest that much has been confirmed
Looks rough! I saw Iwintoloose's guide on this Abyss cycle and he ended up using Mona and a well invested Chevy to plow through it. Glad to see you were able to do it with a fully 4 star team.

The first chamber of floor 12 was nasty, so many enemies. But on the other hand it's just nice to have some AOE content instead of yet another boss rush abyss. I finally got to play my Venti again. 😁

Thanks Sevy. I finally managed to complete the Spiral Abyss after months of not trying. For the past few months, I lost most of motivation to pull and build characters because I thought no matter how hard I tried, I wouldn't clear it without high constellation 5 stars. I managed to clear 12-1 second chamber with mono hydro right on the 7th minute. As for the consecrated beast, thank god they can be frozen; I just kept them frozen with Ayaka, Kokomi and Furina combos. If you guys are struggling, I would recommend trying different teams; maybe a different team would suit your playstyle better.
They did increase the max amount of primos that you can get, however, they did not inform that they will make the abyss 5 times harder

Just realized how sethos looks so clean to play if you play him right. He's clunky in my books but that's just because I'm so bad at playing him in general lmao
The key is not spamming normal to avoid the long animation of the 3rd combo string.
You want to keep looping 1-2-walk cancel to get that smooth pewpew feel you see in the video.
Man this Abyss is just as bad as the last one. 12-2 and 2-3 were so easy but 12-1 I just cannot kill it on time, even with C0R1 Neuvi and Furina. Guess I will need to retry more but damn Hoyo really made the Abyss not fun.
triple kenki from the last 12-1 were easy and fast, even with 4 star only team it should be a single rotation clear (about 30-35 seconds), you just need to know how to group all three together. You should have more than enough time to clear second half.
I came up with pretty good teams for this Abyss thanks to your help! Honestly I'm just shocked by how annoying floor 11 chamber one was. It feels like Neuvillette is almost required when there are so many waves of enemies on floor 12...
The fact that you did it with 4 stars makes it special. Whereas im getting my ass kicked by the slimes in floor 11

You make it look so easy. I am content with 33*. I used to 36. Even with all 5*,it is so tiring and depending on the device, it is even harder 😗. I am dissapointed that 36* is 100 gems instead of 50 😭.

Floor 12-1 was so difficult for me, I tried arlecchino hypercarry and nilou bloom almost 10 times, each time was still far from clearing. I ended up switching the second half to the team you showcased, with ayato instead of sucrose because mine wasn’t leveled up. Eventually, I managed to clear it with about 15 seconds spare time. I never used beidou before, but I also never knew she was this good. Even with a horrible ratio of 72/111, it felt pretty good.

Tbh it's not even hard it's just a dps check on a set timer when ppl said they want harder content they want difficult enemies...jacking the enemies hp and putting you on a timer isn't exactly hard content lol

I hate this game. I have strong 5* units which are VERY well built and yet i cant do it max stars. Im convinced im just stupid and this game is not for me. Seeing others clear with only 4* with even worse builds makes me so angry. Im done
for 11-1-1 you want to avoid dendro characters if the pyro slimes start burning itll damage the monolith

Finally got to 36-star this, I wasn't able to last patch :'D. Triple hydro was needed for 12-1 2nd half. I used Raiden, Xingqiu, Kokomi, and Furina which got me a 3-star for chamber 1.
I retried for the rest of the chambers by using my best dps team for 1st half which is Arlecchino overload and for 2nd halves just use your best hyperbloom teams.
fun fact: you can 3 star floor 11-1 without finishing 11-3, that way you can use your usual team to get 3 stars on the other chambers then come back to chamber 1 with a different team (preferrably with venti in second half) to get your last stars and leave

Having Venti on my Archon only collection team and Sucrose 2nd team as DPS on floor 11-1 saved me. Dang they really recreated this monolith defense thing in the abyss where veteran players who didn't have Venti used to run Ningguang and Geo Traveller just to block enemy projectiles lol
I was dreading this going in but it turned out to be really easy if you happen to have the exact units to counter each chamber. I did Scara/Zhongli/Faruzan/Bennett and Neuvi/Furina/Jean/Yelan (just to break the herald shields) for first chamber, then Nahida/Yelan/Xingqiu/Kuki and Neuvi/Zhongli/Furina/Jean for second half. Without Neuvillette it sounds like hell tbh
For floor 11, I did Neuvi/Zhongli/Furina/Jean and Wrio/XL/Kazuha/Bennett and it worked great
11-1 is hard when you use mobile and on SEA server with 200+ ping. Man so far this is the hardest spiral abyss

i used rational on first side and mono hydro with kokomi driver for 2nd. first floor was the hardest one. had to retry way too many times for that one. but was fun nonetheless. i hope we get more abysses like this tbh lol.

quick question here: if you three star 12-1 with a team, then change teams and 6 star 12-2 and 12-3, if in the second run you dont three star 12-1 do you still get the full rewards?
Yep. Once you get the stars for a chamber, they're yours to keep until the cycle resets. So you can just make a team that will do well in the last chamber and prioritize getting 3* there, so that you don't have to redo the entire floor if you fumbled the last chamber.
