Don't worry, I've been playing for 2 years (you'd think i'd be good at this game by now but... nah...) with plenty of 5-star characters and I'm still struggling to consistently get 36 stars.
That's normal i guess. You may have same chars, even cons, but never the same artifacts. It's down to rng, from rolls to mob movement reactions. My problem is hardware/ping side though, it's hard to 36 stars on mobile and the highest i got so far in all my abyss run was 34-35 (my friend can always 36 my account on his pc though, so im pretty sure its on me XD)
if you attack the dendro dancer first the pyro lady will go closer to the anemo archer but if you attack the pyro lady first then the dendro dancer wont move a budge. maybe it will help somehow.
I haven’t fought the triple kenki in abyss and im just thankful that they stay in place😭😭😭 goodness imagine all three at once teleporting away from you, i would actually cry
Surprisingly, The 3 maguu kenki is much more forgiving than the old ones. I had the "oh my god aw hell naw" sound in my head when I saw them but they're not that bad
Everything is better than golden wolf lord and rift hounds. Magu kenki can be fought easily and the rest of the abyss is easy. This time hoyoverse decided to not force players making particular teams (monogeo like the last time) and let them have fun. The only machine very full of hp tanky is the asimon matrix, but with some effort you can kill it easily. Hyperbloom and aggravate teams are great against that matrix device. Have fun with abyss and enjoy Lisa new skin, hoyoverse made a good work with it 👍😊
@@ushiima rift hounds and wolf lord made us use the monogeo team. In this new abyss we are more free for team building. Even my aggravate keqing team works well. Enjoy the new abyss, good luck with your pulls 👍

But I gotta say I prefer Sevvy's. She actually knows enemy mechanics as well as spawn points and places to clump enemies up. Don't get me wrong, I don't need the guide, I'm at the point of the game where I can 36 star the abyss consistently. Just recently cleared it, I think the previous one is more difficult. But I had so much fun on this one.

I win to lose LITERALLY said in his video "I don't know how these enemies work, I haven't learned their mechanics yet" whereas Savvy does talk about their mechanics. so yes. He takes more of an DPS check approach, which is perfectly ok and I benefited from both guides. How about instead of being all passive aggressive and pitting one against the other we all take a step back and enjoy the content. oh and FYI, in case you missed it.... your Abyss clear time isn't on display in the game. so who cares how fast you are

I regretted pulling for albedo during his release, and when i tried albedo vs the rifthounds, oh boy does he really perform against multiple enemies. Especially during his burst. Coupled with ningguang E, albedo burst and ningguang E makes the rifthounds stagger
This is why y'all should start investing in your Noelle. Every time Itto gets a rerun, Hoyo will add the Wolflord and hordes of Rifthounds to the Abyss cycle. Both Hypercarry & Hyperbloom driver versions of Noelle steamrolls them.
@@acanthafiore i tried clearing the floor with my Noelle multiple times and it rlly looked pretty good but i still needed a tad bit too long for 3 stars on the last chamber bc my phone is pretty laggy and it costs me 20 seconds < each time i try doing any chamber in abyss... once i have a new phone, i will probably be able to 36 star more abyss lineups on my own bc i think my teams are pretty well built!
When Even Sevy Is happy to see the departure of the Golden Wolf lord, you know it’s a horribly designed boss. I don’t ever want to face that thing again.
I've been playing for 1 and a half year ( 2.1 gang here ) and for the first time in my genshin life I managed to get 34 stars with F2P C1 Xiao and C0 Raiden. That was intense and so much fun!
My highlight was when i fought them with INternational. They shoved me through half of the room when i used my burst and pushed me into the wall. I couldn't see anything but somehow i cleared it. I hate this room. Still better than any Wolflord Abyss.

I finally managed to survive the scorpion and vulture to reach 12-3. Manage to 3 star 12-3 ( at 7:01 , phew) Ok time to go back to 12-2 and try for the next 2 weeks. Surely lady luck will smile on me. ( I hope 😅).
Its kinda fun. Initially shocked about how aggressive and high damage they are, but then i quickly adapted my mind that instead of focusing on rotations, i just unga bunga since they also unga bunga. Works like a charm

It might have high damage enemies and annoying single unit multiwave fights, but you know what it doesn't have? Wolflord and rifthounds. That makes it immediately easier and/or less frustrating than the last abyss in my eyes.
Yes I agree atleast you can potentially clear it but the last one was asking so much like telling us to use the worst element in the game they should buff it asp it's ridiculous how bad shatter and bs shield that drop bruh

Ofc, you need time (and luck) for artifacts but just look at her character stats, none of those are insane. Hmmm I guess cons also have effect (some of my chars have lower cons than hers).

for the eremites in 12-2-2, if you go to the dendro eremite and just attack, the other two will follow close enough to be grouped. also somehow with that way, they all got stunned for me. thank you to some redditor telling me this, it shaved 40 seconds off my time 😭

Geez, I came here to compare it with my experience in this new abyss 12, I gotta say you are pretty accurate. I noticed that the first half line-up was intended for us to use a dendro-electro team, but I dont a good team of those to go on that chamber and I wasnt able to use a hyperbloom team since I dont have kuki , so I used my hu tao double hydro instead (I knew it was going to be difficult for the last chamber boss but I had to give it a try, thankfully it worked!!!) Also. Im pleased to see the importance of CC in the second half, although I didnt used an agravate/spread team either, my melt ganyu with sucrose, xiangling and diona were just right to fight them and survive (since my main is ganyu and it is pretty hard to dodge enki's attacks while aiming, also diona shield works pretty well against the cryo zone they leave) Anyways, good guide as always!!

floor 12-2 first half is the hardest floor section. i got 9 stars but omg I died like 6 times, the fire bird and electro scorpion will stun lock you then kill your characters in a couple of hits if you don't have a shield (i didn't run a shielder) so i have to their attacks
Glad the golden wolf lord is gone, although I finally have a team that can take care of it, Wanderer double geo team. (I dread when they put the damn Wenut in the abyss) Sevy did an amazing job with 4* as always but maybe it’s just me, I’d also really love and appreciate any team recs including 5* characters since most people probably will have some! I find it a bit more difficult to do only 4* since I don’t have the skills to make up for their damage gap, as well as a lot of my 4* aren’t c6 yet.

A useful tip to know is that if you go to the north east part of the arena(left of the kenkis) then go the the center of the 3 kenkis the cryo kenki won't dash away
If I may, Layla is a great substitute for Noelle for anyone who has her! Unlike Noelle her shield has 100% uptime, and it can proc totm super reliably so it ends up being super tanky.
Watched this before my 1st try. Did it 1st try. Watched others struggle. Especially the positioning tips are just gold. They really just do the grouping for you if you position yourself according to the video and grouping of course is key.
After annoying wolflord & demanding healer against rifthounds, new cycle abyss is a fresh breath of air. They're so fun and right amount challenging. I was surprised of 4 waves ruin robots and 2nd enemy after defeating hydro herald. That's a good little idea. Also both sides need survival option. I am glad Yaoyao is good addition.
the funniest part about this abyss cycle is that i was making sure i had enough ER on all my units not because of damage, but for emergency s rotations be damned!
It gives me hope since you finished it with 4 star characters & weapons w/ ok crit dmg while I know I’ll still struggle with my fully built characters since I’m not as skillful & magaling as you. I know the dreaded golden wolflord will return so I gotta wish for Yoimiya or Wanderer.

The last time it's on abyss, if I can remember, they will revive within few seconds if you can't kill them altogether, such a pain in the ass.

They nerfed HP for triple maguu kenki compared to single one, so we can kill them more faster
Yeah. Basically if you have decent aoe you will kill all three faster than the single maguu kenki, which is awesome.

that is true. this new dendro meta had made Noelle a very viable driver with great tanking and healing capabilities
Noelle has always been under appreciated.
I mostly play her in Mono Geo because I like turning off my brain. But I am glad to see her getting more use in other elemental teams.

For the Summoners on 12-3 second half, after their pets are killed, they can be grouped easier with a CC unit

just finished the abyss complete star and i can say this was quite a challenge!
Geez, I came here to compare it with my experience in this new abyss 12, I gotta say you are pretty accurate.
I noticed that the first half line-up was intended for us to use a dendro-electro team, but I dont a good team of those to go on that chamber and I wasnt able to use a hyperbloom team since I dont have kuki , so I used my hu tao double hydro instead (I knew it was going to be difficult for the last chamber boss but I had to give it a try, thankfully it worked!!!)
Also. Im pleased to see the importance of CC in the second half, although I didnt used an agravate/spread team either, my melt ganyu with sucrose, xiangling and diona were just right to fight them and survive (since my main is ganyu and it is pretty hard to dodge enki's attacks while aiming, also diona shield works pretty well against the cryo zone they leave)

Another thing with the Matrix boss, the little triangles that fire lasers at you initially point in the direction of the boss

for floor 11 just use bloom and aggravate,with the abyss buff is impossible to fail
floor 12-2 first half is the hardest floor section. i got 9 stars but omg I died like 6 times, the fire bird and electro scorpion will stun lock you then kill your characters in a couple of hits if you don't have a shield (i didn't run a shielder) so i have to their attacks

Glad the golden wolf lord is gone, although I finally have a team that can take care of it, Wanderer double geo team. (I dread when they put the damn Wenut in the abyss) Sevy did an amazing job with 4* as always but maybe it’s just me, I’d also really love and appreciate any team recs including 5* characters since most people probably will have some! I find it a bit more difficult to do only 4* since I don’t have the skills to make up for their damage gap, as well as a lot of my 4* aren’t c6 yet.

A useful tip to know is that if you go to the north east part of the arena(left of the kenkis) then go the the center of the 3 kenkis the cryo kenki won't dash away

If I may, Layla is a great substitute for Noelle for anyone who has her! Unlike Noelle her shield has 100% uptime, and it can proc totm super reliably so it ends up being super tanky.

Watched this before my 1st try. Did it 1st try. Watched others struggle. Especially the positioning tips are just gold. They really just do the grouping for you if you position yourself according to the video and grouping of course is key.
After annoying wolflord & demanding healer against rifthounds, new cycle abyss is a fresh breath of air. They're so fun and right amount challenging.
I was surprised of 4 waves ruin robots and 2nd enemy after defeating hydro herald. That's a good little idea.
Also both sides need survival option. I am glad Yaoyao is good addition.
the funniest part about this abyss cycle is that i was making sure i had enough ER on all my units not because of damage, but for emergency s
rotations be damned!

It gives me hope since you finished it with 4 star characters & weapons w/ ok crit dmg while I know I’ll still struggle with my fully built characters since I’m not as skillful & magaling as you.
