The microscope utilized to polish the eternity ring in very rough form is the Zeiss Stemi SV8, a CMO-type stereo zoom microscope. The video includes the detailed process of cleaning a one-piece casting of a classic eternity band (CAD model) using the microscope's zoom magnification system of 0.8x to 6.4x, working field of 100mm, and wide-angle eyepieces (10x/25) to achieve a high-end, handmade look.
There are multiple ways to make an eternity ring like this, including, handmade, designed and model made CAD (multiple or single piece), or wax carved.
Using extreme skill and patience, the master ring maker on the video using multiple tools until a desired level of perfection is attained.
Going forward, we will be using powerful microscopes like this one to make or analyze other stunning pieces of jewelry.

Fantastic, I'd pay good money to just come and sit in a studio like this all day
Ha, come on over then. 😉

Sounds like a plan 😜
Craftsmanship at its best 👌
Thank you my friend.
Thank you for showing off all the super interesting close ups while working👍Great Video, Excellent Result🙂
Thanks for watching man. We'll work on improving the microscope footage going forward with 4K resolution. This footage was OK given our first crack at this kind of content, but we'll definitely improve it going forward with better equipment and recording techniques.
Hours of work made a beautiful piece of jewelry nicely done
Quality vid yet again! Cheers!
Thank you once again for watching 👍👍
That was really cool. That is craftsmanship. Always thought that would be a cool job
Beautiful craftsmanship!!!!!!!
That’s art
Definitely. There's more art than anything else to this process. We'll have some more amazing microscope videos soon.
Yes..good nice
great attention to detail!! keep up the great content your shinning a bright light on true craftsmanship in the jewelry industry
Thank you so much 🙇
Yea I would rather have built it. Taking off the casting layer is just to much of a hassle. Could have fabricated it in the time it took to get it to pre-finish. It was cool none the less 😎
cleaning up a casting like that takes about 20 minutes I would like to see you making a ring that acurate in 20 minutes. I do a lot off prining and casting everyday.
@@johndo3930 lol 20 minutes yea right definitely not as long as made from scrap but by no means is it quick
Usta emeğinize sağlık👍 taş tırnaklarının iç kısımlarınada tesviye yapsaydınız mükemmel olacaktı.
Nice and clean!
Thanks for watching!
Is there a follow up video with the diamonds being set in it if so I'm really looking forward to see it
Yes, we're working on a video setting the diamonds on the eternity ring. 👍
@@Crmjewelers wassup 😎✌️

We're setting the stones in another video. 👍
@@Crmjewelers i m waitting it 👍👍👍👍
Are those going to be .50
.33 cts
I’m wife haves 50 pointers great video can’t wait to see it done
Tell me: was that an ultrasonic cleaner, or did the ring get rhodium-plated?
The ring was never rhodium plated. This is a platinum ring.
@@Crmjewelers I thought that it was a commercial ultrasonic cleaner. Thank you for clarifying.
@@19gregske55 Do you mean the machine at 4.20.?. If that's what you asked. That is a jewelry tumbling machine. With steel pins and cleaning solution. An excellent tool to shine up the casting pieces.
@@mannhispen56 : Thank you for the explanation - the jeweller himself answered my question, as well.
Amazing precision, outstanding quality rivaling the jeweled eggs from Russia.
Ok
First like 😃😃
You're so fast.
First coment 😃😃😃
I think I hear an echo. LOL
wahahaha😁
Not that impressive.. i can still see scratches
The prongs weren't polished because this ring still needs to have the diamonds set on the prongs and filed down.
@@Crmjewelers no i saw the sides too.. i saw little file marking there....
I know in casting rings its very hard to go in every corner
CRM I don’t know how you deal with idiots
I am sure it’s going to come out perfect
@@xa8047 well telling someone idiot about giving his opinion well you learn this from your parents.... Do you know what i am talking about? I m not criticizing his work... Okay.... I m only saying it could be better... You know anything about handmade and casting? Go learn first...
