For apartment complexes, just because you put a hole in the wall does not mean you do not get your security deposit back. Nail holes are expected. And if they try to not give you that money back you can look it up. It goes for all states. No holes, thumbtack, holes, whatever. As long as you're putting something on the wall that is expected and they cannot take your security deposit because of it. It's a law and if they do, go ahead and sue them.
Almost any landlord you rent from is going to find any way they can to prevent you from getting your deposit back and they’ll even lie in order to do it and you can’t do anything about it so don’t be worried y’all. Chances are you won’t get that deposit back anyways.
Awesome. I remember doing this too back in the day. Had a whole movie theater in my bedroom. That was the theme. It was all centered around my projector that I found at a bargain. Made my entire bedroom look like an old 1920s movie palace, equipped with a mini popcorn machine, decorated the trim with literal 35mm film from my projectionist job at the time (the movie theater I worked at would throw out movie trailers and such in the trash), decorated with framed lightboxes and movie posters, walls were painted a maroon with gold accents, and I had full surround sound. God I miss that bedroom.
I just did a similar setup for only $200 with holiday discounts! Got a 1080p Vankyo for $130 and added a 4k Fire Stick + 5th Gen Echo Dot for $60 to get a simple decent wireless speaker. Some minimal blur on the edges but 87" for under $200 is ridiculous lol.
Instead of buying an expensive TV, I'm gonna buy an even expensiver Beamer for the same quality
Patch those screw holes with drywall mud they'll never know.
"It's amazing, the best thing I've ever bought!" - The company who made it.
The sound comes from the projector “you don’t need a speaker”😂 is what she said 😂😂😂😂😂
I would advise getting some speakers, especially if you’re watching films, I advise either a 2.1 or 5.1 system.
the moment she said “you don’t even need speakers” tells me she doesn’t use this setup AT ALL

This hurts in so many ways
i had one before they even advertised this. its SHOCKING. native 144p quality. speakers are VERY quiet. you have to be sitting right next to it.
“You don’t even need a speaker”
I agree. Best thing i ever bought was an Epson Moviemate projector fo $400 bucks. 8 years of awesomeness.

I got one of these added my fire stick and my Vizio sound bar!!!
Did this in my apartment, had like a 9ft screen. Video games was crazy and felt weird when I went back to a tv
I’ve been using projectors for years. They’re awesome! Best way to see a movie.
“R.I.P. my security deposit”
That shelf is genius.. I just need a renter friendly version
Love the projector. I think speakers that fit into the corners of wall would work. Also, there are really cool ways to hide the wires.
