Kosmic, make an smb hack with Kirby as the player and make the goomba a octopus and the koopa a met and bowser king dedede. Also the bloopers are pulpuls.

considering the amount of cutscenes nowadays, its a legit statement
14:03 bullet bills can only occupy the first 3 enemy slots out of the 5 total. So with 3 loaded enemies, depending on what slot they are loaded in, sometimes no bullets will ever fire and sometimes you can still get 1 or 2 bullets on screen at a time

By pressing start, you are effectively acknowledging it and telling us all you are indeed stinky.

One thing I feel was missing from this Romhack: Power-ups at the Bowser fight, so Kosmic can have 'Small Fire'
that's what the final skip was for in my eyes, albeit only in spirit since the game ends right there
I like the plot of Kosmic going through many frustrating hacks, some of them looking good, but not fulfilling their full potential on for this moment where someone who enjoys the series ended up making the well designed hack Kosmic deserved to play.
That was a nice mod. And it was fun to see the comments from adef in chat as he reacted to the stream. It added a new level to experience.
Damn, adef knew exactly how many times Kosmic would die in 1-1. Dude is a genius.
It's only a matter of time before a troll rom hack has peach tell you she's in another castle, have you walk away, then she realizes she forgot to put the Bowser costume so she doesn't get why Mario didn't notice it was weird.

I love how unique he made the hack given the limited tools he had, like speedrun levels, escort mushroom levels, star levels, castle backgrounds and castle and underground levels which make them feel like they're outside!

I’ve been waiting for a hack that acknowledges all the speedrunner tricks Kosmic knows. Very fun to see, I wonder if there will ever be a kaizo hack that actually requires the clips and stuff. Fantastic job by adef.

The star level speedrun stage was nice touch. Such a simple idea but so novel to me.

For the first third of this I was convinced that your buddy made a hack that was literally just "all the 1-ups you want, no power-ups"
Lots of good ideas including the speedrun levels, but I would like to have seen 90% less extra lives in exchange for powerups. Still quite cool and fun to watch.

I actually dig these romhack videos. If you want more height on your koopa jumps though maybe try some SMB3 hacks! :)

Lis it just me or is this some of the most attractive level design in a mario game?
Like what if this was SMB? It's hard to imagine mario being being any more successful than it already is, but hacks like this make me wonder about about what could have been.

We should stage original 'Super Mario Brothers' competitions. Programmers could make custom levels of varying difficulty. Competitors would have no prior knowledge of the levels.
for the next Romhack Wednesday video you should try Super Mario Bros. For Lost Players (i think it was the name of this SMW hack).
It has physics that are pretty much close to SMB1 ones

The original SMB was run at 15-30 FPS. That's why it could be odd to see it run at 60 FPS.

I'm pretty sure that the NES was in 30 FPS...
Then again, perhaps I could be thinking of SM 64, which I'm almost certain was 30 FPS. (Source: Uncommented Pannen)

I used to watch Fairly Odd Parents when I was a kid and now MY kids watch it and you can say this song makes me happy just like a Christmas tree when I hear that song lol just so many emotions because I'm only 23 and I have no teeth on top of the nostalgia...
