Bernard Poindexter it seems like a ridiculous move and wouldn't it just have been easier to take a dragon up there, have the dragon scoop up a wight in their claws and then fly it back. It would be much quicker and probably much less risk

I think that Jon, Gendry, Hound, and Jorah will make it back to the wall. Of course it would be fun to see Tormund survive just so he can have sexy time with Brienne.

I think the next episode is called Blood of the Dragon, I think it was a communication issue when IMBD uploaded information last week for Eastwatch.
Beric's actor should do more voicework. Maybe for animations or video games. His voice is quite powerful.

Also i think everyone but toros and beric lives but jorahs fate has me thinking hes going to die but i really hopple he doesn't. And i think jon will get left behind and his uncle benjen saves him by sacrificing himself and letting jon escape on horseback.
they did not wait this long to bring back Gendry just to kill him an episode later.
He has to have some big story line.

The thing at 3:26 is the mountain shaped like an arrowhead that The Hound saw in the flame
I also think that there are over 100 white walkers filled with Kraster's babies
at 3:30 I think they are looking at the fist of the first men.

I'm with Kenny on that "who will die" issue. Jon, the Hound and Gendry.
Beric and Thoros, nobody gives a shit about them.
Jorah won't have any use anymore, he will die serving his queen in the friendzone, probably telling Jon something like "take care of her", we don't need a love triangle, this is not a soap (well except the Grey Worm-Missandei thing))
And the showrunners need someone charismatic we learned to love to die to make us all cry, and Tordmund is the perfect candidate for that.
Gendry just came back, so he will not die right away, and I agree he needs to see Arya.
The Hound has still a purpose, dealing with his brother.
I think it's Benjen who's on the horse
I think who survives: Jon, Tormmund, Gendry, Hound, and Jorah.. I just think they might get back to wall before Jon, I think Benjen will sacrifice himself for jon when the group gets separated and thats where the horse comes from Jon is riding.
If Gendry lost his hammer, he is either dead or OR, he is the "turn into a white" that Jon will take to Cersei/Danny. AND that's a reunion, cause Gendry could be the first son Cersei and Robert Baratheon had together... 😱😱😱
is it the same hammer? the hound's hammer looks much more pointed than gendry's and not as thick..

1. When Arya confronts Sansa, it's open a chance for her to explain how she was forced into writing it. And then they will briefly, whether its on or off screen, touch base on what she's been through due to littlefinger... And Bran being a green seer will confirm things. This will help their bond as sisters finally evolve, and they will sentence him & kill him. Littlefinger plays a lone wolf... but the starks are a wolf pack! Remember what Sansa says in the Seasonal trailer.
2. Gendry will either be slightly hurt, or not hurt at all - but in good enough condition to go back to Eastwatch to get more help. And dont ask how (writers use no logic in this show) he is supposed to send a raven to Danny for backup (This is according to leaks)... So that'd be why we see the Hound with his hammer. Cuz Gendry is off getting more help!
3:30 Hound is looking at the arrowhead mountain. The one which he saw in the flames.
@HappyCool I called it out
1) They're looking at the mountain from the Hound's vision.
2) Check the maul on the hammer the Hound is using. It's the same one Gendry used on the beach, but it's definitely different than the one he was holding in the shop and the one in the boat. So, is that a continuity error, or did D&D decide later they liked the pointed hammer better, or are there really two different hammers?
3) Don't underestimate LF. Sansa thinks she has an advantage because she knows "exactly what he wants," but it was LF who told her what he wants - the same player who said if no one knows what you want, no one can predict what you will do next. LF is toast, but I'm betting he makes it to at least S8E1.

I think the seven are gonna get surrounded by wights and then Danny comes on her dragon to save the day. Thats why you only see a couple of guys to back through the wall entrance. A couple of the guys climb on Drogon and are rescued by Danny and Drogon and they are flewn back over the wall, not on the ground running through the entrance. The hound is the one who is carrying the captured wight. It's gonna be the best episode of the season...so far. Can't wait.

I'm quite positive that Denaerys will come and help them out, she decides this in the meeting scene with Tyrion. Jon, Tormund, Jorah the Hound and Beric I think will survive as well as an injured Gendric - as his purpose in the series, I think, is to transform dragon glass and steel into valyrian steel (probably from some instruction manual found in one of the books Sam took in the citadel).
I dont know if anyone noticed this but, at the end of s7 e5 , 7 people including john leave the wall but in the trailer of s7 there are 12 people standing around in a circle, i dont know what this means but it seems interesting.
I certainly hope Gendry is not dead. However, if he is the wight they end up bringing back to Kings Landing that would probably make sense for Circe because she would know him from when he was alive and it may have more impact. But I can't believe they would bring in gentry back just to kill him and make him the sample wight.
There are not enough words to describe how much I want an Tormund/ Hound bromance. Or better yet Jon, Tormund, Sandor, Gendry, Jorah, and Tyrion can become the Westeros version of the Entourage crew. Which will get weird when The Hound mentions that Sansa is his Little Bird, and Gendry mentions that Arya is his Mi'lady. Am I the only one who thought Jon and Jorah were looking at each other like "I really want to like you, but you're my competition for Dany, so Game on bro."
Jon will definitely make it out thanks to plot armor. Sandor is to big and too good of a fighter not to live. Gendry might be needed to figure out how to forge Valyrian Steel, so he's injured, but survives. Tormund is the only Wildling character with a name so he lives. By volunteering to go to Eastwatch, Jorah seems to have finally realized that Dany doesn't love him the way he loves her so his survival is 50/50. Beric, Thoros, and the red shirt Wildlings are goners. I distinctly remember seeing a firewall behind the wights in a preseason trailer so Dany is definitely going up there on Drogon to get her Jorah and Jon back.

Something tells me they are going to bring one of Fellowship back AS a White. (My money is on Gendry or Jorah)
I agree with Kenny that Gendry would still be alive; since he just came back, I doubt he'd die so soon. Since this is "episode 9," it'll probably have something big happening (like obviously the stuff with the Fellowship of the King, but also potentially something between Sansa/Arya/Littlefinger). The last episode of the season would likely be some reveals (probably from Bran or possibly Sam/Gilly) again with maybe a big death plus interesting cliffhanger.
Y'all are forgetting Benjen! He knows a lot about the white walkers and might be the one to help Jon get a white walker. I think if the writers bring back Benjen then I think all of them are surviving but Gendry will hurt. I also think it's possible that Thoros might die. He's brought Beric back too many times, it's time for him to be vulnerable

Jon, The Hound, Gendry, Tormund and maybe Jorah survives and one if not all 3 dragons come to save them. Drogon is going to sense that Jon is in trouble.

i think jon, sandor, tormund (JE'REFUSE TO BELIEVE HE DIES!!!! *NOPE* ) are definitely making it back. i think gendry is probably making it back. i'm 50/50 on jorah but i think the coin tyrion gave him is a point in the direction of him making it back too (plus the show seems to have a lot of respect for iian glenn. which in past seasons didn't mean all that much if a character was *meant* to die for plot purposes, but i don't see what plot purpose jorah dying like this would serve)
thoros i think is a goner.
beric i think self sacrifices.
i honestly thought gendry's role would be as a skilled blacksmith forging the dragonglass weapons, not as a fighter who goes beyond the wall and potentially dies after 2 episodes of being back....
Hate to see Jorah die when he just made it back. What a waste after going through all the pain of having grey scale removed.

I think Kenny is right with the prediction. It seems like Jorah and Dany already had their goodbye. And Gendry needs to live. It wouldn't have sense that they bring him back just to kill him a couple of minutes latter. So, Jon, Sandor and Gendry will make it. (Maybe Jorah or one of the others will be the dead man that they need to prove Cercei about the white walkers) 👀

I think the conversation Dany is having with Tyrion will involve her desire to help Jon. She's definitely flying her dragons beyond the wall...and we all know what's going to happen then...:(
Littlefinger is totally going down this season. It will be in the final episode.
Jon will end up escaping separate from the others. That's why he's alone there. I predict only Thoros and Beric die...of the group you see there.

I think Benjen shows up and sacrifices himself...or what's left of him..for Jon and gives him his horse to get back to temporary safety..hopefully the Hound, Gendry (can't see bringing him back just to kill him but this is GoT) also Jorah and probably not but hopefully Tormund

gendry is not going to die.....danny Comes to save them on the dragons. in order for that to happen she has to get the info somehow. meaning gendry probably gets back to eastwatch and has ravens sent to dragonstone. there will be at least 4 to survive. jon, gendry, the hound and maybe jorah. tormund may bite the bullet. i think he will survive.

Baelish takes too many risks. What did he gain from killing joffery. Jofferey was the perfect ally for Baelish because Jofferery needed Baelish because he could not show his fulll perversion to anyone else. Baelish could have used that to gain much more power than he currently has, especially if he exposed Tyrells plot.

I will never forgive Dan & Dave if they kill of Gendry before him & Arya get to see each other again. Gendry is one of my favorite characters along with Arya & Jon my heart will be broken. Gendry & Arya are OTP you can't do that to them.
I predict Gendry will make it back so he can forge the dragon glass weapons as he did his hammer (which "blade" is awfully black dontcha think?)

I say they are going to be a lot of fake out and all but the two people with the Sandor will survive. And if they don't do that, I think 5 will survive Jon, because you can't kill him again, Gendry because you just got him back and he's the last of his house, Wildling leader, forgot his name, because you need him to sacrifice himself in the final battle to save Jon Snow then, The Hound because he's immortal and might have magical wildling blood in him(kinda looks like he does) and Jorah because again you just saved him from a crippling illness that would have killed him. Also, you need Jorah to sacrifice himself to save Danny in the last fight.
I have 2 theories!
1 : Arya is going to kill Little Finger while wearing her mom's face.
2 : Jon is surrounded by Wights and is about to face off with the Night King when Rhaegal swoops in and saves him.

The title of next episode: "Ice Dragon". According to the leaked script, the party going north will be overwhelmed by the Night King's army and Dany and her dragons will come to back them up, but the Night King will take down one of the dragons and raise it as his own.
I agree with Americ Jorah, the Hound and Jon are save.. Tormund eventually.. (I hope so). Gendry is so dead. Maybe Beric also dies but who cares, he's coming back anyway as long as Thoros survives.
