Sun Structures is one of the best albums of 2014.
Fantastic!!!!! Just picked up the the album and oh my!!!! This is a combination of so many influences...the raspberries, stones, kinks, Beatles, DC Five, Floyd, faces...but in the end, it is the Temples.
Drummer with the Spacemen 3 t-shirt. Respect.
Came to post this, but you already beat me to it. Anybody that young that listens to Spacemen 3 definitely deserves respect.
no joke saw this comment a year ago, I had no idea who spacemen 3 were but now I'm in love with them and spiritualized
Nah, trust me. He's a bell end. They all are. Kettering town rich kids....
The new pink Floyd's era?????
Seeing these guys live was one of the greatest thing I have ever done
The singer reminds me of Marc Bolan. My favorite story about Marc Bolan is that after he died his wife and kid couldn't get any of his money because of a previous marriage. His wife was suddenly turned poor. David Bowie being great friends with Marc offered to pay for school for Marc's son. He did so all the way through college even though they never met. That shows how good a person Marc was and what a great guy Bowie is. Years later the family got some money. Anyways, I LOVE Temples!
rest in peace bowie
Uoooow, this looks like a mix of Temples with Temples!!!! Amazing!!!!!
Their album is sooooo good
I am in love. Oh my god.
I love every thing about this band especially the way they sound great no matter if it is live or recorded. Some bands really sound bad on a live feed recording.... not these guys. Totally precise.
Oh mother of god i ve never listened so much exquisite sounds until now . . It reminds me 70 classic rock. It's as simple and unforgettable like it was in a old good time.
Agreed! They are wonderful.
Kettering represent! Do yourself a favor and see these kids live. One of the better bands from SXSW this year.
Kexp great love you. Temples what a fantastic band.
This look never gets old for me. What handsome blokes. Nice set. Love the album.
THEX (aka Theresa) They're beautiful as much as their music :D
Best sound i've heard for years.
I saw them in Dallas and they put on one hell of a live show.
One of my favourite bands :) they have so much style
temples is saving music
Super impressive live performance. Yeah, I know it's 2022. I should have discovered sooner.
To those placing judgement on this performance, wait till you see these guys live. I just saw them two days in a row because the first time around they were a musical
drug. Had to go back for a second trip and I got to meet briefly meet them. They're such cool dudes too, my respect and admiration only grew. Cheers to a band that has so much potential for great records to come.
THX KEXP, you always have great bands and especially this one is more then epic. love and peace frim germany !
Thanks for giving me a trip.
They are so good and they get even better when playing live
Now I like this band!
this is the only temples drummer i ever want to see
Unfortunately, that ship has sailed 🥲.
What is that guitar?....It's driving me nuts....Super gorgeous guitar.....Custom?......Oh and by the way, ya'll have a time machine or this is totaling touching base with rock roots\late 60's early 70's....BAM, BAM!!!
Just a Gretsch, awesome look, fucking kickass sound, everything you need for only $1500 bucks. Better than any Gibson or Fender expensive shit in my personal preferences.
The best band, right now!
Best band of the moment
Steven Laud Thomas is a huge Arsenal fan :)
holy sweet mother of christ that Gretsch is a thing of beauty. Hold tight Northamptonshire representing...
Im seeing these guys live on the 27th its gonna be a great show.

WHOLLY SH!T The Temples were on KEXP? How did I miss this... thank you Google for preserving this musical enlightment. Love this band, one of my current favorites!
His accent is fantastic.
This band is so Groovy ! T-Rex reborn !!!
Move with the season is a killer x
I fucking love Temples, man! Cant wait for more music!!
Great groovy songwriting & vocals..
damn, love it
quality music. they are cool af
This is pure brilliance! :)
Good melodic music and sound (yes, they tried to make the mix and drum sound like stuff from the 60's/70's). Way better than the pop radio stuff today. I wish the vocal is a little stronger, so the audiences can connect more to the lyrics.
amazing band!
awesome ♥
Wow! The 70s are back :)
Not 70's, but 60's, and I hope so.
Oh, Jesus Clauss. Good music never stops to impress me.
They are like a 70's Rock band :)
The Lead guitar player looks a little bit like Brian May from Queen :)
James also reminds me of Marc Bolan
Esta banda esta dentro de las tres mejores del momento. Tame impala, temples, arcade fire
The Orwells y Drowners... te falta!!!!!
NO!...
That Spacemen 3 shirt is awesome
good shit
Listen to the music , people. This kids have talents. Why you complaining so much. And they re all have girlfriends.
Love'em :DD Also the Spacemen 3 tee ♥!
Buenísimo!
Good band very much like the US bands of the late 60s bass player got a great shirt!!!!
top.
Coolll !
That Spacemen 3 T-shirt!
Son los mejores B|
saw them last weekend in Bangkok-Hostess Club gigs..they were good, remind me of Kula Shaker :)
Marc Bolan + Jeff Buckley + a spot of George Harrison/Paul McCartney = Temples
You want to start to sleep and then they take you "round the corner".
ummm, BRILLIANT!
coool
damn noel is right .. this band is awesome..
Bagshaw's guitar playing reminds me of Syd Barrett.
YES.
And their bassist has the same haircut and bass as Roger did at one point haha.
Noel Fielding on bass?
+BillyPilgrim i like it!
wait 10 years, then we listen to Doors 4.0 :-)
four more to go!
@@jayc.8741 thank you for your understanding 😎
What was the name of the record he mentioned about 17:45 ? I can't figure it out
joe meek - telstar
i'm in space…...dave's not here.
i don't know who plays tambourine but band sounds nice
16:34 algo no huele bien. someting smells in my head.
QUE CAMISOLA É AQUELA
easily the most exhilirating band these days
tame impala are better
also POND
Samuel Biddle :P they're doing alright. these temples cats are still young give em time. i love the bass. they not only build a wall of sound but also write cool melodic lines. i would say temples carry a trend and it's tame impala that started and these bands are different
James Bagshaw has a strong, powerful beak.
James bagshaw pretty much reminds me of marc bolan
People always go on about this band and like Tame Impala and that being virtually carbon-copied from all 60s and 70s psychedelic/prog bands, but when I go and listen to all the famous ones (Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Cream) I really can't see it. I can sort of hear that Shelter Song is a bit like Rain by The Beatles and Half Full Glass Of Wine (Tame Impala) sounds like Cream but apart from that there doesn't seem to be that much similarity to me. Please can someone show me some 60s/70s stuff that actually sounds like this?
This is the new age man. The music of today is nothing like the music then. People just have to have something to compare it to cause as humans we like repetition
+ray charles The Byrds, the Nazz, and Marc Bolan are their main influences. But I can hear lots of other psych bands in there too. The 60s was much more than just the Beatles and Stones.
ray charles Yeah, I love all of this new neo psychedelic stuff, it's not really like old stuff though
ray charles king gizzard & the lizard wizard, the lemon twigs and foxygen.
Dude Shelter Song is totally Syd Barrett sound
btw: this is my LieblingsBand!
I don't know, but I think Temples' performance in KEXP not fully maximal.
