Vapor blasting for steel, aluminum, magnesium, titanium, rubber, brass, copper, plastic.
Safe on metal, will not warp or score surface. This blasting is done with water and a fine glass bead slurry for the best surface finish. Revive your cast aluminum motorcycle parts back to a factory finish. Sand blasting will gouge the surface and remove material, this is safer and does not remove any metal. It will get into small threaded holes.

Did that part originally have paint? Do you know if an 2005 CR85 head and cylinder has a painted surface?

No paint come on the heads or cylinders. You could probably do flat clear on the head.
