I was told, don't trust a person who doesn't like a dog, always trust a dog that doesn't like a person.
Thats terrible advice. People are allowed to not like dogs. Being able to be raised around pets its a privilege many dont have. I have a big scary looking dog and well his my good boi, i will never judge someone for fearing him.
@karinalumen9722 I'm talking about specific situations. Not in general. It's one of those, you had to be there to understand the context.
Some people are allergic to dogs, or scared of them, or just think they're gross. People are allowed to not like dogs, just like some people don't like cats. I think a more accurate one is "don't trust anyone who hurts animals or laughs at their pain."
Also, dogs have personalities too and just because they don't like someone doesn't necessarily reflect on the person. Plenty of dogs and cats don't like women, or men, or some other kind of person because of bad experiences in their past or just personal preference. Animals are not "bad people detectors" anymore than humans are.
