We were shocked at ep 3 cliff hanger. They were flying low over a lake because of the storm. Michonne took that opportunity to escape with her man. No way she was going to leave without him, after two years searching for Rick. ❤😊

Rick should have found the time to tell Michonne everything he knew about Jadis threatening Alexandria. As far as she knew her kids were in Alexandria. I think she would have acted totally differently if she knew her children were in danger.

With Michonne being a consignee and Rick in the military I'm sure they can't just freely talk. I also think the time frame of when she arrived and now is myabe 5 to 7 days. Plus Throne is by his side or knocking on his door day and night. She act like she hasn't made any other friends/family. 😂

With Michonne being a consignee they unfortunately aren't able to have any real time to talk. I thought that there was still a lot of non-verbal communication that was excellent. Rick is scared for Michonne and the others he thinks are still in Alexandria.

Yeah I totally agree. I just wish he could have at least mentioned something in the letter he wrote to her on the boat. Or even just one line when they were chatting right after he noticed she was back.

Jadis is awful but Pollyanna is great! I loved the line about Michonne seeing her too. It was perfectly delivered. Ricks line about her haircut was ad-libbed by Andy! 😂
I think Michonne just wanted to help on the mission. Thorne was being a bad leader. A good leader knows how to use all their soldiers, not sideline one for no real reason. The mission should have been more important than her pride!!

I feel the same way about a mission, but I do understand the importance of the chain of command. I could never be in the military because that wouldn’t fly for me. But especially for someone like Thorne who was in the military before and as a newbie in her new job who wants/ needs to assert her position, it makes total sense to me.

And yes omg Jadis is so much more palatable than she was when she had her trash heap. She’s actually making me laugh on this show. As much as I hate her threatening Richonne, I kinda love that she keeps poking the bear.

@@iseemelanie Thorne is just a bad leader, IMO. I’m not in the military but I would think you would use the folks around you to complete the mission. Age should have ordered Michonne to help. She was willing to sacrifice the mission because she didn’t want Michonne showing her up. That’s bad leadership to me.

Rick was so sacred of everything Michonne was doing this episode. Which I understand because she was not being low key at all. Just as Rick was in the beginning. But i had hoped since Rick was the one telling her what the play needed to be she would have listened.
Jadis is always up to no good. I get a bad feeling every time I see her lol. Love Pollyanna though!
I knew from ep 1 Pearl would be suede over to the CRM's side, I just didn't know how I would play out. I thought it would take longer but since Okafor died, which was a shock 😮 I knew it was just a matter of time. I also think that having power and now feeling less hopeless has gone to her head. I think part of why she is so intimidated by Michonne is because Oakfor had to speak up for her to get her on Bealss radar. While Michonne has come in, saying she is a B, when clearly she is an A and is stealing the show. Pearl sees how capable she is and is very jealous.
Like you I'm confused as how she didn't see something was going on between her and Rick. Her observation skills are not there. lol
As for Rick, I really hope that Michonne can snap him out of this. I know it's been years but hopefully that fall out of the helicopter will be just like that punch he needed back at Alexandria.
And lastly Danai was killing it in this episode!! She just conveyed so much without even saying anything.

I got the impression that Beale taking notice of “Dana” was a bad thing. But I so can’t get a read on Beale. I really wonder if he’s somewhat like Okafor - I doubt it. But then again he’s going to promote Rick, as per Thorne, so it’s so hard to tell how he’d interpret Michonne. I do believe he’d be able to suss out the relationship between Rick and Michonne. Even if he couldn’t pick up that they’re married, he’d def know that their history goes way beyond that helicopter crash.
I am soooo excited for tomorrow’s episode. I can’t wait to see what Danai cooked up for us!

I understand in this show, General Beal controls the military wing of the CRM. They also control the elitists inside the city of Philadelphia leaving them in the dark about their mission. None are allowed out of the CRM, which is why Rick is stuck here. My questions are, how and why did Jadis leave the CRM for the junkyard originally and then allowed to return in power with only the unknown "B" (soldier) Rick? Does the French group that's been hounding Daryl Dixon have anything to do with the CRM? Did the origins of The Commonwealth actually begin with the CRM with an elitist "A" group? Will we see "World Beyond" characters?

I think Jadis was a trash person first and they gave people to the crm in exchange for supplies.

@@rasslinreads5666 yeah from what I gather, Jadis only joined the CRM officially after she and Rick arrived there. Before she was just a scout/affiliate.

One thing that crossed my mind was Pearl's French accent. Could she be somehow connected to the French group chasing Daryl? Could Negan's involvement in the walker drug trade have anything to do with the elitist CRM base in Albany, NY (World Beyond), since Albany was part of the three mysterious circle cities of the CRM (Omaha which had been destroyed by the CRM was the third city)? I also wonder how "PADRE" from FTWD fits into the CRM theme, along with Morgan, Strand, Alicia and Madison. Morgan appears to be heading back to Alexandria. Also, I keep thinking about the radio conversation between Daryl and Carol in the first episode of Daryl Dixon. She mentions casually someone's return (which faded out). Could it have been Anne/Jadis looking for Rick and Michonne and occupying The Commonwealth with a splinter group of the CRM? It wouldn't have been so casual if she said Rick, unless they were occupied by the CRM. Morgan? Negan? Maggie? Carol then escapes to find Daryl. Don't you love looking for clues in this story?

Also did you catch Pearl talking about the university that used to be over where they were flying and at the CRM took it over. That had to be the universiry from the world beyond right? The one they massacred everybody on?

The Show was great until Okafor got killed off.....Okafor and Rick taking on the CRM and battling zombies...plus their own demons was fresh, new, and entertaining.....Rick, Michonne, and the other two chicks are boring.

All due respect, but the show's premise is Rick and Michonne reuniting after a long absence . Okafor's death now makes the show suck? You tuned in, you were curious, they kill a male supporting lead, and now the women are front and center so it's not your cup of tea..Your opinion but you're showing you're bias.

    • @EchoJ

The most interesting thing about Okafor was his backstory.
His character was nothing more than a plot device to get Rick from one state of mind to another in the same way that Nat was for Michonne (whose backstory was also interesting and would be nice to see more of in shorts).

@@EchoJi'm a bit confused on his tale about killing his wife. I thought he said his wife didn't want to liquidate any more people. Doesn't that mean kill? He said he was on his way to bomb a city but he took out 4000 soldiers stage near by including his wife. Where was the difference in their opinions?

    • @Quania2004
      @Quania2004 6 місяців тому

@tinad7484 from my understanding is that there was no difference. He said it was her choice and her sacrifice. I took that as she was a part of the plan to kill the other soldiers and the plan they came up with required her death.
