Front corner is a bit reminiscent of a Maserati MC12 too

You’ve effectively turned this Miata into an RX-7 minus the rotory engine.
If you could make one of these kits for the 2018 to current Miata, and it’s Wannabes the 2019 Fiat 124, and the Toyota 86 & Subaru BRZ, you’d have so many different people clamoring for this style of kit. This is DOPE AF.

@@donteontop The wheelbase is too long they modified the length of the car. It can’t look this modern. Also knowing this car, which I have. This body kit would be impossible without changing the structure of the car underneath the body kit. It would be impossible to put that wide of wheels on the front tires.
@@DiscoMiata obviously man, anyone who knows a thing bout cars can see that. Most of the body lines are the same which is why I’m saying it looks modern
@@DiscoMiata well you don't need wider wheels just a higher offset to push the wheel out to make it flush with the fenders

I have to point out that front bumper... I think it's so cool what you did, because the inset really mimics the standard na bumper, although slightly larger air dam. By making that piece almost the stock piece and then wrapping a new bumper shape over the top it creates this trippy effect... Cognitively the front end is familiar and alien at the same time because you've layered the old bumper into the new bumper. So cool. I'm a huge miata enthusiast, and this looks incredible. There's moments in the video it looks real, the only give away is something about the paint or paint reflection. I don't know enough about that stuff to say what it is, but it's sort of that uncanny valley feeling. Amazing work!
Reminds me of how a BMW i8 looks like its eating a Porsche 911 from behind.
That front bumper is amazing looks like a smaller car tucked away inside there.. I can see this becoming trendy

"that uncanny valley feeling" Is because there's zero flaws and no dirt. Even pristine show cars would probably have some minor imperfections and maybe some dirt on the tires. I agree though. The concept was really sweet and gave me a fresh perspective on the Miata. Would be really cool to see it with one of those 4 rotor engine setups like in Rob Dahms rx7.
@@bgbuilds2712 literally the only reason I realized its not real life is because it looked too clean and the camera movement was way too smooth. Of course, after realizing its in Blender you can see all the little flaws but you wouldn't notice them if you didn't know its an animation and looked for them.

Dude this is absolutely amazing. So many cool little details that mimic the original NA body but also callbacks to the RX7. Really beautiful work and rendering.
I would love to see what you could do with the NC, as the NC take quite a few notes from the NA but with its own twists.
