- The 2011 Lexus RX is a class leading midsize luxury SUV. Roadfly reviews and road tests Lexus' small SUV which was redesigned last year. New for 2011 is the brake override system as well as a number of new exterior color options.
The Lexus RX 350 seamlessly blends luxury and utility and is available in All-Wheel Drive and Front Wheel Drive models. The 3.5L V6 Produces 275 Horsepower.
The Lexus RX 350 teams a 3.5-liter V6 engine with a six-speed Multi-Mode Automatic Transmission for an output of 275 horsepower at 6,200 rpm. Intake and exhaust manifolds have been tuned for enhanced performance and fuel economy. Lexus maximized the torque output to better meet the needs of luxury crossover drivers. Ninety percent or more of the 256 lb.-ft. of peak torque is available from 2,300 to 6,100 rpm, an optimal range where torque is most utilized.
Other SUVs the RX compares to include the BMW X3, the Acura MDX, and the Volvo XC90.

Hey Ross, Welcome back! I always thought you reviews where spot on! We have owned several of these cars and the latest version is so much better than previous models. It's much more car like and the navi and Lexus service is second to none.

I just got out of a totaled 2015 GS350 and bought a 2011 RX350 with 41,680 miles! I like it more than the newer GS!

@@Shabbe02 I’m at 55,900 something. One important factor that I’ve learned is that this vehicle is NOT sporty. Though it has some get up when applied, it is heavy and more suited for a smooth, luxury ride. It’s still fun to drive and the cabin is great, but not really a spirited ride. Definitely a keeper though.

My family recently got this car. It's absolutely wonderful..only complaint I have is this suspension is a little stiff. Still a wonderful car.
Would be nice you could review more about its interior, like the navigation system the audio system etc.

I liked the review but would have liked to seen more of the features it can do. Would there be a back up camera on it or do you have to customize it for that? I am considering this vehicle for myself as a treat. I see it all the time and I LOVE the size and the way it looks. I might go test drive it.

I owned a 2000 rx 300 until 2019 it was still running well when I traded it I needed a larger vehicle at the time but not anymore now I'm shopping for a rx 350

No... you shouldn't expect a soft touch panel down at the lower end of the door panel where your feet are kicking into it. The price of this vehicle is significantly less than its european counterparts. The reviewer even says that this feature is found on more expensive cars. This is the best vehicle in its class. The proof is that you're criticising it over a little flip out door pocket in the bottom of the door panel. It is also the sales leader. Well done Lexus!
Tfw I've driven one of these for two weeks straight and I'd rather cut my leg off than drive one again. The interior is okay, but Jesus that screen interface is gaudy.

The RX didn't give birth to the performance luxury crossover segment. It gave birth to the comfortable luxury crossover segment
They cost around the same as their competitors. They are a luxury brand after all.

Jessi. Chicks and cars go together she knows her stuff to so it's together or just her or more top gear and fifth gear. Either way anything is better than that guy with the hair on that other car thing. But yeah Jessi she's a must if not this show then were so my eyes can be there.

@ytj22 For that price you may expect a little more creativity from Lexus in finding a soft material for most ot its interior parts. If a car like the Audi A3 already does a better job....then why can't a luxury car like Lexus?
But.....the same goes for all chryslers,cadillacs, and jeeps that are sold in europe. They all get beaten up relentlessly about their use of material in the interior. It's very important for customers here, as is a sporty handling.

lexus is usually the better car, but mercedes has more prestige and are sexier looking in my opinion
