    Since I start my journey, studying, and coming across videos like yours where the creators are drawing, I try to pick up little things as you guys are drawing so that it can help me better understand when I'm using my tablet. I noticed early on the video that you used the line tool and just when I thought it was a glitch, I replayed it a few times and noticed that you were landmarking certain parts to help you more accurately and my mind was blown at something so simple yet so helpful. I'll definitely keep this in mind when I'm studying, thank you~
    Edit: Let me also add that this video was very helpful on training my eyes on what to look for as I study🥰💕

    I like how you broke down Dana’s style with those color lines I learn a lot more with color so it made it a lot clearer. I’ve also been trying to crack my favorite artist styles but you writing notes also opened my eyes as to how to get that done

      @@KelseyEng32 Question: As a GachaTuber should I make characters in the app first (I have a LOT of characters in my roster already lol) and try to use them as a basis for drawing? Also please dont call me cringe I just play Gacha for fun lol. I know my pfp is custom but I had to trace the pose unfortunately. 😅

    I'm pretty bad at breaking down a style. For example, for Dana's style, I didn't understand what you were referring to or how you figured most of that stuff out when you were writing notes.
    Any advice?

      you hate to hear it, but practice. and *mindful* practice. the point of studies like this is to deconstruct the aspects of the art you like and figure out how and why it works!

    • @animepabu5526
      @animepabu5526 4 роки тому +3

      Lol I copied art from 5th to 8th grade so I’m a boss at it but not exactly something to be proud of at all. Mainly when copying I focus on the shapes first then the details. Go big then go smaller. Like how she’ll do the outline of the main stuff like hair the face but then go into detail with the smaller stuff. That’s kinda how you do it

      I don't want to just blatantly copy their art style cos the style is what's unique to the person. I'm trying to learn how to just take certain aspects but it's hard.

    Hi Kelsey Eng, this is just what I've been looking for! I want to start doing artist studies to understand better what I like about an artwork, and be able to decompose an image into elements and judge them. I am a beginner so I dont have the skills to imitate the artists that I admire, nor the artistic eye that you have to pick up those elements from the piece and separate them. Could you give me a sort of template of what to look out for when looking at art? or maybe some sources that talk about this, if you have them.
    Have a good day :)
