  • A few days ago I asked you the viewers to give me some questions for a Q&A session on the Vigilance Elite community tab.
We received an overwhelming amount of questions, we picked a few of our favorites and Sean Ryan former Navy SEAL and CIA Contractor gave some off the cuff answers.
We're calling this Vigilance Elite Mail Call. If you would like to see more of this please comment below.
    Thank you for watching.

"Do not make decisions off of emotion."

    • @user-ie6ye5ls6y
      @user-ie6ye5ls6y 4 роки тому +15

If you want that to stick with someone a bit better then tell em the goal is to avoid making "permanent" decisions based off of "temporary" emotions. The permanent and temporary is what really made that phrase sink in when my mom told me that as a child.

It really is the best life advice.
Think about all your bad life choices. Then think about if emotions were involved. I'd be willing to bet around 80% of a person's worst decisions come from emotions.

I am an old guy. A retired cop. Worked longer than I imagine you have been alive. Now I said that to tell you I never got use to being lied to and that was what I heard everday all day especially as a detective. So here's the deal I really admire your honesty in your presentations. I caught your time with Ritland and have seen you with Rut and other team guys. I've seen you enough to believe you are who and what you say you are and I appreciate that about you. Here is my wish for a happy wedding and successful marriage. Best of luck. Also, I believe you give solid advice ro others.
This was meant to be about you not me. I was writing to tell you I think you are a straight shooter and I appreciate that. And,I think you are a good fellow.

BEST. VIDEO. YET. More Q&A’s. The way it’s shot, the “realism” really comes through. The personal/intimate settings...all of it. Now I see why it’s called Vigilance Elite Productions. Also, there’s a shit ton of BS gun channels that promote the same shit...so this is definitely refreshing. Keep this kind of content coming, it’s definitely nice.

9/11 certainly wasn't fake. What i think he meant was, was it an "inside job". I have no clue personally. But one thing i do know is that there was definitely thermite on that building. Having someone close to me who did building demolition point out the beam that was famously photographed where it clearly has slag on it and was cut at a 45degree angle (How thermite is place on supporting beams during demolition) was eye opening to say the least. I think the most interesting part of 9/11 was actually building #7 coming down the way it did. I never went down the 9/11 rabbit hole, nor do i care to. But some things about that day are definitely fishy to say the least.

Thank you for bringing his situation to us civilian's attention. It's interesting I listen to you, Mike Ritland, Marcus Luttrell, Dakota Meyer ,Mr. Jocko etc. The information and content that is driven is authentic, real world and "always" supportive to all. I don't know if continually thanking you all for your selflessness, intellect, sacrifice and focus will ever be enough. However, I think the content of Vigilance Elite is terrific and appreciate your work. Tell the beautiful wife that we appreciate her as well. Gods blessings to all. Sean, I appreciate the content you put out and your manner of speaking and projecting yourself. Some of the most deadly men I know are soft spoken, experienced people that all know 1 thing; that we don't know everything! One one my favorites is a tiny little white haired Irishman (love and miss you, Uncle Pat!) that spoke with a whistle and a New York accent that taught me many things about fighting with a gun because he was good at it, and I always enter any new training evolution with an open mindset. An open mind, and an honest inventory of one's personality traits, just as you bare to us, is key in this life. Please continue, brother, the example you provide will help more people than you can imagine!

My 1st was on my 30th bday.
My second was on mothers day the same year. They were both miscarriages. It was hard after hearing their heartbeats.
My 3rd was born with downs syndrome and a heart condition. He was revived on the operating table at 5 months old. We almost lost him.
      My 4th has autism.
Everyday is a struggle. The sorrow I feel is so vast.
I am sorry for your loss. I hope you find joy. And I hope your angel visits you often.

I’m sorry to hear that - I hope you are all staying strong, and nothing can compare to your pain. Keep faith that everything has a purpose. My best piece of advice is to keep faith, whether it’s in god, family, or faith in what you do in life. Much love.

Excellent sincere answers. "Someone may have put somethin' in my drink..." yeah, it was the bartender & it was alcohol. I worked at that Mall. I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale. Not at Mayor's, I worked at Chess King. But i was the best of the best at Chess King. I was elite in the dark ops world of young men's fashion retail. I've been a comedian now for 36 yrs. I've met Joe Rogan twice. He was very nice both times and I find him really inspiring. I'd lay a bet he'd love to have you on his show. Thanks for sharing & for your Service.

Dealing with loss. Shawn, thanks for just putting yourself out there. Now I've seen a side of you that we have in common. Not only have I lost my friends, but my kid brother. Your right, it's never easy and it doesn't get easier, but we do learn to continue living our lives even with our losses. Yes, we move on because that's exactly what they would want us to do. If we spend too much time living out yesterday, day after day, we will never get around to today or tomorrow. Good advice, Shawn. Congratulations to you and your bride!

I guess I don't see the point of getting married because what's going to change in my relationship other than the fact I would now lose half of my shit if I decided to leave?

@@flipgunderson1946 no nothing was really different the next day it was kind of surreal to just know we're married now but it was nice to have that permanent connection with someone and there's always a prenup if you were worried about losing half your stuff in divorce. Hey Shawn. You were asking viewers to comment whether or not they like these style videos. Hell yes! I am not a veteran, but I love your advice and your answers, you're someone people trust and have a lot of respect for! I've heard that some people don't like to talk about their time served often, but I try to listen as much as I possibly can when they do. Many people in my family are veterans of several different branches, and it is hard to catch a story, but when you can, you have to fucking listen because it's sometimes your only chance. Keep them coming, brother!

My brother committed suicide back in august and I've been struggling to deal with it.
So hearing about how you've dealt with all the loss in your life gives me a bit of guidance on how to deal with it in mine.
