I’ve got the Jamaican black castor oil with rosemary. For those who don’t know rosemary mirrors the effects of rogaine. You’ll be smelling like herbs and pine trees, but getting an added benefit. 😆

You can make a great rosemary tea which is wonderful for scalp and hair. Just take fresh rosemary leaves and boil in distilled water. Keep in fridge. Spray once a day. My locs loved this when they were babies and I still use from time to time

@daelocs I've had my dream in for 5 months now & I'm now noticing that my crown of my hair is balding. I think I may have traction alopecia. Will my hair be able to grow back & and will a beautician be able to re-dread my hair ever again?

This is why I love watching your videos (even though I never comment lol) but you encourage me to keep going with my 2nd loc journey. I started at the length you started and am currently 2 months in, plus it’s great seeing someone who doesn’t have a full hairline like me. I’ve always suffered from alopecia and my hairline suffers the most and I’m self conscious about it but your videos are encouraging so I want to say thank you.

I keep forgetting that I just had two kids three years apart. Post partum hairloss ain't no joke. I am only two and a half months into my loc journey and I've only been wearing my hair down. It makes sense why hair would start thinning if you wear it up all the time because the same thing happens to loose natural hair when you wear it in the same style, where there's tension very often.

  • @Zacharias3

This girl yanked my hair out (lesson learned the hard way not to let anybody in your head)combined with tight box braids I noticed I was losing my hair and that I looked bald at the top of my hair and on the side where that girl combed out a chunk of my hair when parted a certain way😢So I decided to do locs in hopes I can recover I’ll try to keep putting castor oil on those spots. Beautiful queen.
My big take away here for me is the prenatal vitamins. I would not have thought of that. Thank you.🫶🏽
My challenge is that my roots in some places are thinned. To be honest, I think it came from one day not washing out the conditioner properly. I have past bum length locs. I am super happy with my hair. However, I am working on getting those thin roots to flourish again.
I will add prenatal vitamins AND try to be more consistent 👀. I also use aloe vera.. the plant.. as well as castor oil and spray with rosemary water I make from rosemary leaves.
I sometimes add rose water or ylang ylang water to the rosemary tea water, but I don't think those are necessary. I just add them sometimes especially when going out because it makes my hair smell pretty.😍
    Stay Blessed and BE-U-ti-Full
    One ❤️🥰🙏🏾
