I think standing up for the nail salon workers was an amazing move. Everything beyond that was just ick. Samantha is just as insufferable as the other lady
she reeks pick-me girl, ew
factual
Facts, insufferable but incredibly entertaining and at least she's using her Karening abilities for justice lmao
Agreed, which kind of made it better? I loved that the og Karen just got the same treatment she was giving the nail tech! Instant karma! And hopefully later when she thinks about it, she'll realize that
@@theplaguedoctor9477ikr! 😂
i don’t think the tiktoker did a bad job at first in defending the nail salon but i do think she escalated the situation making it even harder for the employees
This 100%
agree. i agree
Right, they are just trying to get this lady to pay and leave, and now it's taking longer because she's busy arguing with an additional person. Also I feel like if you are trying to stick up for the employees "you are being rude to her for no reason" would be more effective than "your making a scene" neither de-escalates the situation but the first sounds more like sticking up for someone vs the second they are both making a bigger scene.
This woman is pure drama. You probably hit the nail on the head! She had a massive neighbor drama going for a long time on TikTok where we only saw her side of the story.
@@_Fluorescent_ooh 👀
I didn't think of it before but you're right, she should've waited a little longer to intervene to see if it truly warranted that. I just assumed something happened before the vid started. But that's good info to know 🧐
Nah Samantha very obviously LOVES these situations. She probably thinks everyone sees her as a hero, you can tell she does just by how she acts. She’s absolutely making it harder for the workers, and she’s just being childish. Like we get it girly you’re a big tiktoker, a certified Karen Stopper, but she’s just cringe after a certain point.
She might fancy herself a Karen stopper but she’s a massive Karen herself. It’s literally Karen vs Karen lol
Thank you for saying this! lol
She actually is a Karen herself and doesn’t even realize it.
I think Sam doesn’t quite understand where the boundary is between ‘defending the attacked’ and ‘attacking the attacker’
you hit the nail on the head
am i missing the point or is nick just glazing over the fact they’re both karen’s
$70 really is not that much for a nail salon depending on what you got, especially for a place as nice looking as that. But clearly no one with that hair cut understands the concept of paying extra for a better result 💀💀
70 is super reasonable considering the time, talent and materials used i usually pay around $60 for a basic set or around 70 if i get designs
This was over 70 dollars??? That's really nothing for the luxury that getting your nails done can be
exactly 50 is a basic set plus 10 for french tips plus 10 for designs which is what the owner is trying to explain@@laurathedad
jesus it was only $70?? thats fucking cheap from what i know 😃😃
Yeah, my sister pays around $60 to get her nails done and that's just for the basic set
2 people verbally fighting while they hold phones out at each other has to be my least favorite thing to see on the internet 🤮
Frrr
I'd rather they just start throwing punches and someone else can film it badly from the sidelines, like how it used to be 😔
Especially if they’re both calling each other Karen’s and both saying “you’re gonna be viral” soooo cringe
It’s so hard to listen to people being passive aggressive is triggers my fight or flight 😭😭
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?
watching two fully grown women fight light middle school girls is the most second hand embarrassment ive felt in a while
I second that!
as an eighth grader, we're more civilised than these *adults*
LMFAO
When I was in eighth grade, these two girls started fighting in the hallway and one started using her phone to physically hit the other girl in the head . This kinda reminded me of that
Yes. My elementary schooler has more maturity in his little finger than both of these ladies combined. I am embarrassed for their ancestors and progeny.
$70 for acrylics?! I'm over here paying that much for a gel polish manicure... I'd be worshipping those ladies as I left💀
Hell I just got a normal shellac pedi for that
those ohio rates ☠️
Just about to say that lol.
right!! here in aus its anywhere from $50-$100 aud and ill always tip at least $30 aud bc like thats talent babe lemme pay u what u deserve

@@AskMikoit’s like missing a few episodes and suddenly half the cast is gone and someone’s evil granddaughter is off to harass the gardener
i love that its all so low stakes and just silly stuff my life is so boring rn i need this drama
@@bammythegreat What’s sad is that I’ve seen and been involved with Karen’s like that so much over the past few years, especially working in more retail based environments. Jokes on them when they think I’m a “kid” in my late 20s- I have to tell them I’m about to turn 40 and as a grown ass woman I put up with no one’s shit. The fucks I give these days for entitled people is 0.
“You don’t need my name for me to go outside & insult you” as annoying as that lady is, that was hilarious
Got me dead. she's annoying and definitely an awful person but damn is she good at it!
Them Karen's can definitely have zingers. It's all the shared generational trauma boomers have.
When she started rhyming I know she thought she was spitting. Rhyming Karen has to be my new favorite Karen archetype. I've seen so many of them start rhyming for no reason
i literally choked💀💀💀
I would love to see their insult war in the parking lot. She should’ve let the lady pay and then brought it outside. Still, I think the original thing she said was actually phrased really kindly…like if you don’t look at the prices beforehand, only be mad at yourself
Samantha’s influencer ego is giving me major secondhand embarrassment but at least she has good intentions? 😅
Tbf I feel like that was a tactic to scare the Karen into submission.. or maybe she really is that conceited lol but either way you could see the fear in the other woman’s eyes
@@melbapeach162”scare the karen into submission” is single handedly the funniest phrase ever omfg😭
out of all the tiktok drama you've covered this one pissed me off the most. leopard print lady was definitely in the wrong in the situation but samantha had no reason to escalate the situation and start filming with the clear intention to... post it on tiktok. she's already being incredibly obnoxious acting like she's a super famous tiktoker or whatever, but filming the lady without permission, asking for her name (and later finding and sharing her personal details), and showing her license plate is INCREDIBLY too far for me. it's terrifying to know that we live in a world where anyone can start filming you in public for whatever reason they deem entertaining and that it can possibly go viral, and that people can find you & your family's personal information, all against your wishes and maybe even without you knowing it's happening at all. sure the lady is a karen and being a bitch, but it's infuriatingly irresponsible to (esp as someone who deems herself hot shit on tiktok) find + share the lady's personal information AFTER the fact as well. "karens" are unfortunately commonplace, but samantha is a new breed of entitled person/customer that believes themself to be superior to others, following the rise of social media (tiktok in particular). i would much rather deal with the karen than someone like samantha. some people's lives have been completely disrupted by becoming a viral sensation (usually without their consent, like the one target guy from several years back, or the couch guy) and i would not hesitate to call it a traumatic experience for many. i can barely even compliment samantha for defending the shop because had she not, the situation would've ended far sooner (and quieter) than it did. i don't care if she acknowledges that she's crazy, it definitely went too far and she did not have to commit to posting it.
also, seeing her daughter cry like that is uncomfortable and upsetting, even if the daughter consented to it/it's meant to be funny/isn't serious.
I totally agree and couldn't have said it better myself. 💯 All Sam did was make everyone, especially herself, look like a fuckin' clown. 🤡
Yesss given her other posts, it seems like she may seek out this kind of confrontation 😬
@@Cashhhhew agreed. she’s the common denominator in all these situations.
sam was my assistant dance teacher a couple years ago for about two years and i danced with her daughter as well. her daughter was super young at the time, so i didn’t see her too often. this is so crazy to me seeing her do this, i think you’re spot on w internet fame taking over someone’s life. she was always nice in class and while it’s nice seeing her be confident online, it’s also off putting bc i know her and it’s different than before. sorry if i worded anything wrong, it’s just mind blowing that i know her and know this nail salon too 😭
Thank you for this comment like there is nothing to congratulate in this video. I don’t understand how people are calling Samantha a “chaotic good Karen” when she’s just an obnoxious person disrupting strangers’ days. I don’t think she even defended the salon that much?? She mostly focused on insulting the other woman?? This was insufferable and I feel so bad for the owner and workers
I kinda just feel bad for the nail salon that had to deal with this like 😭😭 imagine you’re just trying to do your job and then two ladies are yelling at each other and filming 💀
Like what was the reason for the filming 😭😭😭 pleaseee
They look like they loved the drama tbh
love ur username
@@bugboyyyylike the tiktok lady is being so crazy fr😭
The entire time, I just kept worrying the first lady would storm out without paying for the service (which was what she intended on doing anyway)
My mom used to be a nail tech and all the entitled, racist people she's had to deal with is disappointing. I'm not a huge fan of TikTok influencers but I'm grateful to the TikTok lady, though it would have been better if she didn't record the workers for their privacy's sake.
dude i love your profile pic!
Yeah, I get recording it just in case you need it for police but posting the video online is another thing, she could’ve at least blurred the workers faces
I really wish she blurred every face but the woman that was making a scene (until she realized that no one would ever agree with her, most likely was intimidated by having someone other than the staff and owner call her out on her blatant bullshit)
@@chilljelloton2089right like only record the adult embarrassing themselves, not the innocent bystanders lol
FRISK UNDERTALE?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Karen directly confront another Karen like that 😅 Karenception 😭
Kareh squared 😂
Makes me think of that meme where 2 Spiderman's are pointing at each other 😂
I disagree with everyone saying Samantha is being a Karen but at least she’s using it for “good”. I don’t think she’s good, I think she’s in the wrong as well and just as annoying as the other lady. Just absolutely insufferable people all around. She preys on people trying to do their jobs even more than the regular Karen’s that yell at them over prices by escalating the situation and exploiting them in the name of “justice” for TikTok views.
You really hit the nail (no pun intended lol) on the head.
cant believe nick would record in bambi's room while he's trying to relax
literally exploiting his cat son for views 🤨😔
We need a vid on the Nick/Bambi drama
Samantha totally escalated the situation. It’s like she was trying to be helpful and then just got caught up in sticking it to the woman. Tbh I don’t blame her though.
Edit: they’re both obnoxious but goddamn at least Sam owns it and uses it for good
I have a feeling that Sam's main defense is not let people gaslight her and to be loud. Lady geuinely went in looking for a fight and then tried to play the victim when someone (sam) took her to task. Sam started filming when the cheetah print grandma thought she could try to bully her way into a free fancy frenchtip manicure and it seems clear that she was just trying to make it clear that she couldnt get away with lying about what happened seconds before with no concern for if she was being bitey, after all cheetah clearly didnt think anything was wrong with it until sam sent some of it back to her.
Did it result in escalation? Yeah but also cheetah was caught lying even after the clearly unedited video of her being an attempted scammer was posted. This the only reason the video went as long as it did was because instead of ignoring samantha she tried to shame her into stopping by lying about what sam had *just fucking filmed.* Like, it just feels like nothing but *fuck around and find out.* someone tries to stand up for the business you're trying to scam? Probably best to give up, pay and never come back. I assume nail salons have a black list of some kind so going back after doing the scam would be risky.
I love that the “good Karen” got backed up by the “Monique” at some point ❤ those are the kind of person you need when their is an injustice done and it needs to get loud
Just because a person admits they are wrong it doesn't make them good. She evidently enjoys arguing with people and drama.
Is she using it for good though? I doubt the workers felt grateful that she kept filming everyone in the shop and escalating the situation. It also seems like she's doing it mainly to fuel her own ego. When she said "you're gonna know who I am, this is gonna go viral" she was on a major power trip.
@@joelleweetjewel9948 💯
Standing up for service workers is great! Escalating a fight, filming people, posting them online and doxxing someone because they were kind of an ass is not
To reiterate, this is NOT the first drama Samantha Richardson has been involved in. Not saying she’s in the wrong or that she’s right, but just beware. I think the problem may be her.
Tbf at least she seems to be focusing on calling out behaviour that would have just gone unpunished before. As someone that’s been in the employees shoes with crazy customers shouting and trying to get free shit, I would have loved ANOTHER crazy come up to bat for me in that situ.
@@melbapeach162not really, that's what the managers for. She sat and escalated the situation for content because that's what she normally does
@@Jordan-db2og Nah but the thing is that so often, managers don't do anything. Like they're just going to take the customer's side at best and verbally berate YOU at worst in front of the customer
@@xenamorphicwhile that usually is unfortunately true, we could see in this instance that the manager had come up to deal with the customer in defense of her nail tech. I do think that most managers or owners don’t always have the workers’ best interests in mind.
Its so simple to pay them for their services. Signs are always posted for nail salons about pricing and you always ask for the service you're expected to pay for. It was a weird situation all around
It's got scammer vibes, because there's literally no way she should be surprised about the price lol.
@@salemcrow5078yeah I agree. I’ve gotten my nails done my whole life and a lot of the salons have websites now where they post all services and prices & you can literally just call the salon and they will always be happy to tell you. They have signs everywhere and a list when you check in. You have to purposefully try to miss it. I think she knew and was just trying to get them for free.
Exactly. If you were worried about the price, you'd ask first. Plus, usually when you ask for extra services (like airbrush, stencils, multiple colors, gems, etc.) they let you know that it's extra, besides it being on the sign! (I've never been to this salon but have been to a bunch of nail salons in my life).
I'm a guy and have been to a lot of nail salons to get my occasional foot spa. There is no way in hell that a customer did not see any prices. It's posted on a poster in wall, behind the counter, a pamphlet, a sign near the register, they hand you a menu for the list of services with prices, etc. That lady was def trying to scam the business.
@@0blivvy8and that’s what the worker was saying too! she said yeah if you get color it’s this price, but for a design on every nail like you got, it’s more. lady obviously got french tips with designs and thought she could scam her way out of paying 😐 I hate that she had to get outkarened but at least someone said something
The price is always too high when you're just trying to get something for free!
Exactly. I bet she does this regularly to try and get free or discounted services (and have businesses give them to her to get her out of the store) because there's no way that she didn't know the prices.
@@salemcrow5078 I agree! I get the feeling that she doesn't see them as equals and doesn't care if she screws them over as long as she gets something out of it. She was going to complain alll along, it has nothing to do with the prices!
I am genuinely disgusted by that Samantha woman because I think I truly see through her thing. We are practically living in a surveillance state where people will be filmed at random and posted online for acting “inappropriately”.
I think in cases of unprompted threats and discrimination and violence, filming is extremely fair. But someone being shocked and difficult because they were embarrassed that they could not afford something they were treating themselves to is not a reason to film them, demand their full name, and post their plates.
I genuinely wonder, how long was this woman giving the salon workers a hard time before Sam decided to film her? I don’t buy for a second that she is doing anything but clout chasing and, ultimately harassing this woman.
Considering how people get harassed and have their livelihoods taken away, that this woman was not being discriminatory or actually threatening, pushing back rudely at service workers is shitty but NOT worth doxxing. This is completely inappropriate and people need to learn how to confront people in front of them WITHOUT posting it online
100000% - say it louder. Not enough people point this out and it's getting to the point where peoples lives are being ruined because of internet mob mentality.
Ding ding ding! You’ve hit the nail on the head here. Not everything needs to be filmed, posted, and escalated. We’re turning everything into content and it’s not doing anyone any favors.
i agree that posting conflicts online is a bad idea, but good lord, you do not need to white knight this grown lady's tantrum. she was harassing the workers, you can tell that she had been arguing before sam started filming, she was acting inappropriately, and chances are really high that she was also being discriminatory. you assume that she was just "embarrassed" about not being able to "afford" it, but you can clearly tell that she was acting entitled and trying to weasel her way out of paying for something.
@@ashknight6696 but do you actually know that the things you are saying were probably happening are what really happened? I think we enjoy content and drama like this and will draw any conclusions necessary about the subjects of this drama to defend the serotonin we get from watching them called out, and to pretend it’s normal to keep this stream of content going. But nothing about this is actually normal.
I am commenting on a major cultural upheaval in how we approach/interact with people in public. This impacts all of us. You can see how this woman’s response, filming her, did absolutely nothing to actually deescalate or truly defend the workers at the nail salon, and in fact, made their interaction with this woman much more stressful and difficult.
I have experienced people filming/taking photos of me without my permission in public because I was like a “vibe” or something they wanted to mill for content. It is completely dehumanizing and devoid of empathy, and considering it could happen to any of us on any day, I can call that out without “white knighting” an individual I don’t know.
@@seemsfishy23 we can literally look and hear with our own eyes and ears and it seems like nothing was edited. when you were filmed in public, were you making a scene and demanding you weren't going to pay your bill? that doesn't just "happen everyday", unless you're an asshole. you're excusing her behavior, which was still horrid even if it didn't need to be filmed
Im glad she stood up for the nail salon but she did sort of make it about herself immediately afterwards which really doesnt help the situation
Just an outlandish idea but if you can't afford to spend the stupidly high prices to get your nails done... Don't go get your nails done 🤷🏼♀️
I bet she can afford it, she's probably just trying to scam the business.
Right! There’s cheaper places who do the nails just as good, sure they’re hard to find but if you look deep enough you’ll find them! And if not then it never hurts to try to do them yourself with free time. I remember when I couldn’t afford to do my nails with my nail tech and for months I just did it at home until I could afford it again and it both made my nails stronger and cured my boredom so fast
@@yunhosparrotthis is my life lol i like getting them done when i can afford it but sometimes you need that extra money. no shame ❤
It is PURELY a luxury- don’t be cheap about things that are completely unnecessary 😂
@@herefortheshrimp1469 I mean, you're totally free to be cheap about luxury items lol. Just cause it's a luxury or treat doesn't mean you /have/ to spend a lot either. But obviously if you choose to spend a lot....well, y'know, actually pay what your promised to.
As an employee..lmao. I would probably already be anxious once that lady started up but tbh the other lady jumping in wouldve got me sweating like please…can we all please stop😂 She honestly made it worse, that’s one of those rare moments when you’re like “ i didnt ask for you to stand up for me” your input wasnt needed. She didnt have bad intentions though, its just some times you dont have to say anything. It really was an A&B conversation lmao she shouldve chose to just C, and not say a word unless the lady got more irate, but she was just tryna stick up for the nail techs she know to be fair so, its just dang..things really escalated
Exactly. The customer complaining was having a tantrum moment but she probably would have calmed down and apologized once the owner came over and explained the pricing and why it cost what it did. Which the owner was doing successfully at first until this woman inserted herself and escalated the situation.
Yeah, her escalating that situation was the opposite of helpful, and just made things harder for the nail tech/owner. I could understand a bit more if the original Karen was being super verbally abusive towards the staff, but that didn’t really seem to be the case. Yes, she was clearly unhappy, and yes she was 100% in the wrong to try and not pay the price that is clearly displayed for her finished nails, but the staff seemed to be handling the situation just fine without this “Sam” woman interjecting herself and escalating things into a screaming match that almost turned physical. That poor owner had to escort the original Karen outside of her own shop to try and converse with her, and she STILL was followed outside by the crazies who continued escalating things. Everyone aside from the salon staff was in the wrong in this situation. This Sam woman didn’t help anything, she just made everything 10x worse and more stressful for the salon staff.
Again, by all means step in if someone is being seriously abusive to staff and it doesn’t seem like the staff is able to manage the situation on their own, but that wasn’t the case here. This was a situation where everyone just needed to stay in their own lane, and allow the staff to handle the customer like they were already doing a good job at on their own. It seems Sam just likes stirring up drama and escalating situations for views, given what her TikTok account looks like. She may have had genuinely good intentions, who really knows, but her ego was the main driving force here in my opinion.
I just feel so horrible for the salon staff having to deal with this entire situation. It’s wonderful that they have customers who value them and want to defend them, truly, but perhaps it’s best to allow them to handle it, and then afterwards show them your support by words of praise and a large tip.
I do like to drop a "you're very rude" and affirm the employee on my way out when someone's being mean to service staff.
it's happened twice and ik my commentary isn't needed but ugh I wish someone had stood up for me when i had rude customers as a server.
Thank uuuu
I felt like I could read the uncomfortable feelings on the nail shop owner’s face and she was just doing her best to get these two women out of her shop lol
That cop really couldn’t be bothered to stay awake while telling her she didn’t care about her legitimate problem. Typical.
she really said "if you keep contacting us about feeling unsafe we're going to resent and ignore you" truly protecting and serving
That Sam that called the cops just told 50k followers to report this channel I’m typing off of, she’s also guilty of screaming dirty words at her neighbors house
All these women suck but this is legit why people are scared to intervene in situations. Leopard print shoes lady just redirected all her anger onto the tiktokker and completely forgot about what she was mad about in the first place. If you step in the crazy person will just zero in on you as the target of their psycho behavior and in the US they probably have a gun 🙃
General life rule: the amount of animal print is proportional to the amount of crazy. 1 item: warning, 2 items: danger, 3 items: RUN!
This is so unbelievably true
And the queen has the animal print shoulder tat! 😂
What if only one of their shoes are leopard print wouldn’t that be so wacky
This rule will never fail you 😂
😂😂
Escalating the situation out of righteousness probably doesnt help the workers you're trying to help, even though you may be in the right! Deescalation always.
Yeah it's like those guys who starts fights when someone so much as glances in their girlfriends direction. They aren't making anything better, they're doing the opposite and they just are embarrassing themsleves.
In preparation for the Caleb Hammer video, I wanna offer my opinions as someone who enjoys his content and who feels it helps me stay accountable. #1 I applied to work for him prior to watching his content because I lived in Austin at the time, but I was starting school in a few months, so it was;t a good fit. He was super nice and encouraging of me going to school, admired how many jobs I had at my age, and wished me well. His good attitude made me wanna watch all of his content. #2 I have mental health issues that deeply affect my spending, and he puts hella importance of mental health and budgeting for therapy, which not many finance folks do. #3 Furthermore, his being based in Texas, specifically out of Austin means the folks on there largely have the same struggles with the cost of living, groceries, etc. One girl I found out lived in my apartment complex at the time. #4 vibes. i get not being into the tough love and he definitely uses clickbait and spicy clips to his advantage, but all titles and the content of the episode are ran by the folks on prior to publishing. He also does check-in videos and provides advice offline. Again, valid for him not to be everyone's cup of tea, but is a genuine guy who is helping a lot of folks get out of debt, or get support for mental issues that tie in with spending. There's also may episodes where if he sees the person doesn't need tough love he'll take a softer approach. Def a long-time fan Nick and again you are totally valid to not be a fan of his content, just wanted to share my experience since I enjoy both of y'all.
I agree I think he’s fine. My one reservation I guess is his lack of credentials that I am aware of. Meaning he may not have the best grasp on some more complex issues. But I think as long he’s a positive and does display more compassion in the videos and than what the clips show.
I love Caleb’s content too!
I like that Samantha was using the platform for good but she’s so insufferable too😭 also outside of just seeming insufferable she also escalated it so much more than it was and it started being them having beef rather than the actual thing about the nail salon
i love how nick manages to cover the most riddiculous stuff
Caleb Hammer is awesome I watch his full length videos and he is really insightful and recommends really helpful resources for his guests. he also ALWAYS prioritizes therapy and fitness in people’s budgets because he truly does want their financial situation to get better. A lot of times their situations are frustrating but he only screams a little bit i promise 😭😭
I will NOT stand for the Caleb Hammer slander. He is a fantastic UA-camr and has helped a hell of a lot of people get their shit together
I'm glad you cover the lighter stories! stuff like 8 passengers is sad and already so widely talked about its not like another video on the topic is necessary. some less serious drama is definitely more the kind of thing I want to watch while I'm cooking dinner vs something serious and depressing
Truly, let Nick handle the other drama and those in that circle can give us the full meat and potatoes!

I could be totally wrong, but i kind of get the vibe that Samantha was WAY too excited about being able to have a moment like this, it really seems like she couldn't care less about the salon and was more focused on idk, like making herself feel like she's cool or a badass and standing up for the little guy or something. Even though that's not what any of that was at all. If she really cared about that salon or the workers she wouldn't have a scene like that and continuously escalated the situation.
Not to mention this was so hard to watch, the worked up,immature arguing that doesn't make sense. Literally both of them were just saying nonsense.
Also maybe this makes me a bad person but when the second woman got involved and was talking and Samantha keeps speaking over her saying "THANK YOU MA'AM" i really wish that she put both of the Karens in their place and told Samantha she's not any better.
Okay, I've thought about it and I've decided that the person filming, posting and ultimatly doxxing someone for being rude is way more of a danger to society than a person just simply being rude!
That financial advisor Caleb listens to some pretty stupid and immature reasons people are in debt. I'd get frustrated and yell at them too😆
I love his videos! I got credit karma because of him and it’s gone up since(: he’s really good at exposing how predatory so many loan companies are to 20-somethings.
Yeah his screaming is due to the fact that it's the only way these people will learn not to be in debt forever.
Yeah anyone who goes on his show knowing who he is probably knows that they're going to get yelled at. He definitely gets exasperated 😂
He yells because he cares more about the scary financial situations people get in than they do
100% agreed. The clips look bad but watching the video with context it definitely makes sense
Complaining ab nail prices r dumb. Nails cost way more than $70, I’ve seen nails that cost about 150+😭😭😭
I was gonna say, where is this salon? I want a $70 set!
Even if it is more expensive than what she is used to paying, (there’s a place near me where I pay about $60), it can’t be more than $20 more expensive like ????
once had a customer yell at me and my manager (we are both 19 at the time) for like an hour straight, and another customer told her that she’d pay for her to shut up and leave the store 😭 any form of customer service has to be the least rewarding job in the world 😭
samantha is almost more insufferable than the other lady. her constantly talking about “oh im crazy the whole internet knows im crazy you dont know who youre dealing with” nd shit makes it seem to me like she’s doing whatever this is for the ego boost. the nail salon probably never needed her help(?) in the first place, i think they can handle it
nick is the only youtuber that makes me excited for drama i have never heard of or cared about
The fact that nick doesn’t know the ABC conversation insult is so funny to me lol I learned that in elementary school hahaha
This is dystopian - imagine having a rough day, maybe being charged way more that you anticipated (we just don’t know what happened before the tiktoker started filming) and then a total stranger starts amping the conflict up, recording you, then doxxing you and then another internet personality makes a video about the whole thing continuously making fun of how you look and what you wear, while they’re at it. Yes, people should try to be polite at all times but shit just happens. We aren’t our best selves 100 % of times and the fact that a small argument at a nail tech over prices can turn into this is just a massive mindfuck.
It's also dystopian how even though most people recognize that Sam is an instigator in this situation, that they're still accepting her narrative of what happened before she started filming. The comments are all like "yeah, Sam sucks, but that lady shouldn't try to get free services"... Even though the only indication of her trying to get free services comes from Sam for her content. What we do see is someone saying that the price doesn't match the quality that she received, and then Sam starts a fight for content. She could have been asking for a redo, but we don't know. I hate how everyone just accepts the filmer's story of what happened before they started filming, even when their goal is reactions.
@@Mtb558Sam doxes folks, sends hate mobs after others, I got her good yesterday, she tried to get her followers to hate mob me but no one showed up for her 😂❤ f Sam, she’s abusive to her kids.
I’ve been a target for hate before online. It’s a wave of hate, for audiences attention span isn’t much, so it dies down. Most humans on earth are very simple minded, let them hate on you but stay you. They aren’t worth the time. Only Sam has the time, she has no job and neglects the kids.
I’ve watched a handful of caleb’s videos and they’re actually pretty informative. He doesnt try to hide his frustration but I don’t know if he deserves a greenisnotnick vid on him
I love Caleb Hammer! I’ve learned so much from his videos. He doesn’t yell the whole time, just in all of the shorts. Lol
The guy in the beginning of the video is caleb hammer! He was pretty angry at the girl for eating out while having maxed out credit card, he's angry at the situation tbh not the person, he really cares about every person that come to his podcast, he really wants them to succeed and get out of debt!
Fun fact, she can buy a bottle of nail polish for like $4
I love Caleb though. The man actually cares about the people he brings on to his show
Yess I was waiting for this like these people are in severe credit card debt
@@hellokittyemily663 seriously
$70USD is so normal for nails??? is like a regular price tho??? like i do think that’s wacko money for nail polish and i don’t get nails done but i talk to people who do and it’s just a normal average price for decent nails
I'm pretty sure they're gel sets with extensions which would explain the price a little better than if its just regular nail polish.
There’s different types of polish, like gel or dip that lasts longer, plus any possible designs. There’s also a procedure if they do a manicure where they prep the nails and massage you. The process can be up to an hour sometimes or longer.
Right $70 pretty low in my area. I usually get charged around $90 for a mani pedi (acrylic for mani) with my nail tech and she does good cuticle and skin care on-top of it
Yes for gel, lowest I've seen for regular nails is $40
I was feeling so bad I was trying to stay asleep all day, and then I decided to watch this and it gave me the energy to get out of bed and cook myself a nice meal. Thank you.
totally felt :-) good on you for feeding yourself!! that shit's hard as hell n u did it!!!!!!!!!!
proud of you friend ☺️
Hell yeah that’s awesome
Happy for you:)
I hope you feel better soon from whatever is making you feel bad. 💓
so proud of you!
“This conversation is between A and B, you can C your way out of it” gave me the ick
Ok but the finance guy from the start of the video is awesome! He makes full length videos where he helps them break down all of their finances and helps them turn their situations around and educates people in the process. He sounds aggressive but people are fully aware of his style before they go on and all he does is try to help them (and he often shows calm empathy). The tiktok clips are just the most dramatic clips to get a reaction
Yea yelling at people when they ask for your help is not awesome
The "ABC yourself out" comment was so unexpected, what was with that elementary school comeback 💀
as someone who frequently gets their nails done, I can’t wait for this video
As someone who never gets their nails done, I also can't wait
As someone who does her own nails I am equally excited
As someone who wears press ons, I am very excited
As someone who has participated in all of the above I also am excited
As someone who has no nails, I can't build anything! Badum ching! My fingers are flesh noodles with nothing at the end
Both of them are why customer service wages will never be high enough.
I love Caleb Hammer! His videos have genuinely inspired my husband and I to be better with our finances. I’ve learned a lot thanks to the guests that are willing to come on - they have all my respect; it’s very brave to be so open with your finances on the internet.
I prefer these kinds of drama vids so much, entertaining yet inconsequential in the grand scheme of things
As someone does who payroll I 100% feel Caleb! Some people are completely unaware that their problems is caused by them
i’ve been feverishly scrolling looking for some caleb fans, thank god it’s not just me 😭
@@imaduckquackquack2297 another one!
Caleb is the best!
I like Caleb the financial planner. He’s harsh but well intentioned
There's legitimately no reason to make a video about Caleb. Maybe once he actually watches a full video he'll see. 🤷 The video would be "Oh no this man is helping people learn how to budget so that they don't live on the street or work at Walmart forever."
I think the shorts and thumbnails paint him as an abusive bully, but he freely admits that’s his intention and how he games the algorithm. There’s a lot less to say about the full length audits, there are a couple where I’ve felt he was wrong or too harsh about something but ultimately they all get the service promised of budget and plan.
hobestly not everything needs to be put online. like karens happen all the time, this just escalates the situation
I love Caleb's channel, I just recently started watching financial audit and I've actually taken a few tips away that are helping my finances.
Honestly, the thing that does it for me is tiktok lady absolutely owning up to being crazy, I found that funny. Like, girl let her impulsive/intrusive thoughts out.
Using impulsive, no amygdala craziness for the good of the people!
I saw this on tiktok but Samantha started giving me secondhand embarrassment lol. She’s technically in the right but like….jeez girl
The cheetah vans and cheetah phone case was everything i needed to know. this woman is a villain
thank you for not talking about the 8 passengers, i think it will only be more harm to air out that really saddening and frustrating situation when the mom is already facing charges. the last thing those poor kids need is the whole internet talking about it like its any of our business.
..... says the person bringing it up on an unrelated video lol?
@@soymilkmandiscussing something in a comment section is completely different from making an entire video delving into all the intricate details of it that hundreds of thousands of people are gonna see. average internet users obviously do not have the same reach or influence that youtubers do. it's also not an unrelated video because nick specifically mentioned the story in this video & explained why he wouldn't be covering it. you're being combative for no reason
I understand where Samantha was coming from and what was she was trying to do but i bet the nail workers just wanted for the leopard woman to just get out already 😂😂😂
I like Caleb hammer tho lol he's a nerd but I think a genuine good person. He's not the most socially smooth dude but he's cool lol..he really does try to help them. He stays in touch and helps support them if they're doing what he said to. He's actually trying to help people get themselves out of debt. The only way unless someone else gonna pay it off for them but then they didn't learn anything 🤷🏻♂️ they are in a situation they need to get themselves out of. He helps find that way out and make steps to follow for them to get out. He gets heated yeah but he's genuinely upset because you're suffering and he wants to help you. He's helping people escape debt that most people get stuck with for life. The bank won't help you they want you in debt. It's designed to have no way out thrh have to make laws to make them have a possibility to get out of debt someday. If not you'd owe a dollar and be in debt for a hundred years from the snowball effect of fees and shit. If you can escape debt and recover your credit score you have a whole new life you can live..
Samantha did too much. The workers knew what to do and she didn't help one bit. The internet is so lame
Absolutely love your low-stake Tiktok videos. They are a breath of fresh air in this Sick demented society we live in. Feels like a gossip session between Aunts in the town square
The drama has dried down because the core audience has gone back to school
oh man im cringing so hard watching this. it's good to try to defend the workers but she ended up just making it about herself and making the whole situation worse. when she started talking about how she's a famous tiktoker it was really hard to watch. i do understand where she's coming from though cause her initial comment came from a good place, but the lady escalated things by making personal attacks which basically baited her into stooping to her level. this is why i mind my business honestly
as someone who works in customer service I'd rather just have the other people just shut up and let me deal with it, she made it so much worse
Caleb Hammer fan here-- he really doesnt yell that often. He goes in hard, but he will be the first to say this, it is when people dont realize how bad of a situation they are in. Its tough love but its said with genuine care. The shorts often just clip the screeching insane moments because theyre clickable.
i’ve worked at a nail salon and a hair salon before and i can confirm this happens at least once a week
truly 😵💫
I worry this was less about being a Good Samaritan and more about feeding someone’s savior complex 😂
Everyone having platforms makes these dramas so common now because they feel they are vigilantes with an audience who will cheer them. Like this tiktoker wouldn't have said half of this if anything if she didn't think she could post it and receive validation.
Noooo Caleb the financial audit guy is so great
i have no idea how people find drama this niche but i get so invested lol
“Being weird over a French tip.” 😂 I love that woman 🤣🖤
''why are you at the nail salon when you gotta be at the hair salon'' made me actually holler out loud i had to pause to gather myself and comment this
idk man I'm a New Yorker and I feel like Samantha should've just minded her business. up here, we just mind our business in situations like this lol. She seems like she likes drama and actively seeks it out and all of this could've been avoided tbh. Samantha was going off as if she was the one that owned that salon 😵💫 I mean I get that she was standing up for the nail tech but it wasn't her business from the beginning 🤷🏾♀
New Yorkers sound like my kind of ppl tbh. I feel like an outcast in San Antonio, TX for *not* wanting to be all up in everyone's business.
Had a lady try to fight me over a plain cheeseburger and tried to get her husband beat me up over a cheeseburger. I'm very glad the random construction worker came for his lunch break to dis-fuse the confrontation. Sometimes it's fine to put yourself in situations as long as you try to calm it down and not amp it up.
Also if you want a plain cheeseburger that literally means nothing on it but cheese. If you wanted a hamburger say plain hamburger.
man don't rag on caleb hammer, the tiktok clips are just the most explosive bits but he really does care about people being able to have a financial future. he yells bc people don't realize how terrible their debts really are
I worked at a special needs summer camp and learned how to deal with escalations. Sam was actively escalating an already escalated situation. It was a classic power struggle.
Honestly, I don't think she even needed to butt into this situation, not at the level it was at.
what I do love is that leopard print lady finally met someone as obnoxious as her but they use it for good
Samantha's voice is absolutely grating on the ears.
Caleb is the homie. His TikTok is a small snippet/click bait intended of the full UA-cam videos.
People come to him for financial advice and he basically reviews their finances and offers a game plan to tackle crippling debt, poor spending habits etc.
That’s what I’m saying, he’s great
one good thing about my social anxiety is that i'd never take things this far.
Samantha thinks she’s fighting the Karens but doesn’t realize that she herself is also a Karen
jesus christ. of course i support her supporting the nail techs, but this could have been done soooo differently. also i pray for the day that people stop filming random strangers in public for things that are less than criminal.
In my experience, a lot of nail salons will have the minimum cost on their price list and then not tell you that whatever you've asked for is extra until after its been done so you end up paying way more than you thought. One time I went to a nail salon that said $50 for a set of acrylics on the price list, I got a coffin set with French tips and wasn't told it was extra and ended up paying $80 😭 I was too nervous to say anything so I just paid it lol but I wouldn't he surprised if that's what happened here. Tho i have to say in my area $70 for a set is pretty standard
Depends on the lady. It’s probably a cultural thing where they just push you to get more. Especially with older Vietnamese ladies, you really have to keep saying no 5 or 6 times
Yes exactly lol that’s why i stick with my press ons that last longer! I don’t have typically have social anxiety, but i absolutely worry so much about extra costs stacking up so fast and being more than i can afford
Agree 10000%. We don’t know what happened before Samantha started recording and nail salons pull shady shit all the time. Offering you services like massages and designs without disclosing they’re extra. Can we stop pretending like all nail salons are honest businesses that don’t take advantage of peoples social anxieties and manners?
@@pinkskies21 eh, it can be annoying but just grow a backbone. Particularly with Vietnamese people, they’re used to a culture of hustling and bargaining in business. In nail salons, they get maybe 6 to 8 customers each on a decent day. If they rush to fit more clients, customers won’t be happy, so they need to make the most of it. It’s harmless if you just say no. If you can’t, then it’s not that deep if you don’t go to nail salons anymore
I’m only a few minutes in, but I will say nail techs absolutely will over charge you/scam you if you don’t vet them first. I brought an inspiration photo to one near me, told them it was totally okay if they could not do it and that I would still get my nails done plain if not, but they swore to me up and down they could, then charged me twice what they said on the phone and on their website, and I was too anxious to say anything. Ended up paying like 130$ for nails I didn’t really like and that didn’t look very much like the picture. They also glued my false nail to my skin on every. Single. Finger.
It’s a very ritzy place with great reviews too so I was shocked.
Like the other woman was totally in the wrong and a Karen but like I’ve totally been scammed bad
im happy that you do the celeb drama, lighter drama and karen style drama because the heavier stuff is so dogpiled on that i come here for some funny drama so hell yeah man im glad youll keep it this way.
“you must’ve drank a cup of c*** this morning” SENT TF OUTTA ME HELPSKSKSKSKS 😭
70$ is a really normal price for a full set of acrylic nails, if that’s what she had done.
this is cringe but honestly kinda tame for nail salons, she got VERY lucky no one else in the room was feeling froggy. customers complain about prices every day, but if someone even reached to pull out their phone and started recording at my nail salon it would be a full no-holds-barred FINISH HER death match ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ you just don't know how strangers will react when you start escalating I could never
as someone who works retail, i much prefer the customers who approach me after the karen has already left and tell me "you handled that well, that was ridiculous". unfortunately we deal w ppl like that regularly so we know how to de escalate and get them to leave. what we're not used to is de escalating a fight between two customers. the other day we had something similar happen where someone was loudly protesting the return policy and a woman turned to her daughter and said just as loudly "we may have to go soon honey bc some ppl don't know how to act around children." it's a toy store so she had a point lmao but all that's doing is making us staff stressed that the situation will spiral out of control when we had it handled before. luckily it didn't but i bet it would have if someone was filming!
$70 is really good for getting your nails done imo. And they look really good on the woman taking the video too!
