As a recovering addict, this is an extreme trigger for me. Please put a disclaimer at the beginning of your post. Im sorry if im being blunt but this showed up on my feed and within the first two minutes im hearing how dilaudid is soooo gooood. Im sure it is. Must be nice.
I appreciate your bluntness and want to apologize for my insensitivity pot people struggling with addiction. What I should have said was the dilaudid felt so good for my back pain. It probably still would have been a trigger but maybe the way I said it could have been different. I put a disclaimer on my next video. I can do better if i know better. Thank you for speaking up.
I’m sorry that this person is making is even making a commitment considering you have an illness you can’t control and then you have the addict who blames everyone else. Tell your story the way you want.
Get over yourself Lonnie! This woman was given the medication for her broken back and you really have the audacity to say, “must be nice.” What a rotten thing to say! I’m quite sure she’d rather not have the broken back and pain so bad she can’t take a proper breath. If her video triggered you, you’ve got bigger problems bro! Get to a meeting and stop feeling sorry for yourself.

I’m a recovering addict (6 years 8 months) and if this guys truly a recovering addict who has a handle on their recovery this wouldn’t bother them. There is absolutely NO need for a trigger warning, it sounds like this guys not comfortable in his recovery or is looking for an excuse to use or probably already has. I’m glad you’ve found something that works for you and I hope and pray that this treatment continues working for you
