- Your barber's favorite trimmer. This rotary motor trimmer is equipped with a t-wide blade for precision trimming. The 5 Star Detailer is designed for extremely close trimming, creating crisp, clean lines, producing faster cutting results (due to the t-wide blade), and facial hair detailing and design.
Note: only oil the heel of the blade periodically, not for every use.

Till this day I got this trimmer cause the blades are cheap and great for all skin types

Why is there a version whitout the 5 stars? and one whit 5 stars?
I have owned 3. Only had luck out of one, then it started making popping sounds and quit on me. Other two pair can't even compare to Andie's t liners.. I love the Wahl Seniors but I'm done trying Wahl liners .......

Have you tried adjusting them? This may help improve your cutting experience. For all other issues, you can contact customer service at 815-625-6525 and our customer service will get your tool repaired right away.
Ive had 2 pair and both did the same thing. I also use the Wahl seniors and I stand by em.
For me, plastic part with screws got dull and the cutting blade was always going up… Took the Andis T Outliner - no problem for 4 years.
Does anyone know if there’s cutting guards that are larger than 1 1/2? Looking for adding guards 2 through 3, even if I need to buy from another brand to retrofit.
The teeth are too fine on this trimmer to work effectively with longer guards. We would suggest a Peanut or Mag trimmer for longer length beard trimming.
I would like to buy #3 & #4 cutting comb guides for beard trimming. Are they available?
They are not available for this trimmer. You will need a Peanut or Mag/Beret for these sizes.
@@Wahlpro could you guys please make larger size guides? This trims my beard far too low with a 1 1/2. I need something between #2 and #3. I’d rather keep this trimmer than return it. Need for trimming and lining up my beard and hairline.
T-wide blade cut more than original blade? From Italy

Is it because it's a different plug or is it something else? Will it work if I just buy a "US to EU plug"
We do NOT recommend using a transformer or converter for US to Eu products. Our recommendation is to use the tool that is sold in 220v in EU.

Hello, what's the difference between the detailed with the five stars on the chrome part Vs the one that has wahl on the chrome?
The 5 Star Detailers have a t-wide blade that is 1/4" wider than the standard t-blade found on the Wahl Detailers.

Can i use the multi color attachments on this?
You cannot. The Multi-Color attachments fit standard clipper blades only and will not fit on this trimmer.
You can find this trimmer on the internet with very different prices . I case of cheap imitations , what is the "Real" price one should pay for this thing ?

I bought one of these and it didn't come with the T Wide blade 😕 and no, it's NOT the black Detailer. It's this same exact Detailer

Wahlpro I'm not from the US, I'm from Puerto Rico but I got it from Amazon US
All 5 Star Detailers sold in the USA come with a t-wide blade. It is likely you either have a used one that was tinkered with, an international model, or an old model (older than 2012).
Wahlpro It was supposed to be new and it appeared to be new. Maybe it is an old model. Is there a way I can check if its older than 2012?

How do you sharpen the blades

We recommend that all blades be sent in to the Wahl service center for sharpening, repair, etc...
