He sounds like he knows exactly what to do 👌💗😍😄
Nice looking steamed shrimp. Those were very large. Wouldn't take long to get full. I like the steam machine.
I would also like to see you steam some oysters
thats some funky welding......
I really love shrimp, Hubby and I are going to try this recipe tomorrow great video. Thanks for sharing.
We do too, and I just never get tired of it either. Thanks for watching!
That steamer would be great for crawfish doing the steam then soak method !!
I got the bigger pots to do that with, but it would work. Just wouldn't hold but maybe 10 pounds at a time.
I'm in SC, but I think that cajun steam and soak would've won my heart. Especially because is spicy!
Very intriguing design for that steamer. I bet it does work very well and I know those shrimp tasted amazing since you cooked them!!! Great video Rus!!! Cheers brother!
Looked great as usual.👍🏻Shrimp cooked right are one of my favorite foods.👍🏻👍🏻

Great video thanks!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Fantastic Rus
3 years ago@! It is July 2022 and we are dying from the heat here in Philadelphia!! Love your recipes!!!
I wanna know who in their wrong mind decided to dislike the video and a logical explanation of WHY? Looks great Russ!!! That's exactly how we steam them up here on the East coast. Love my Old Bay!
Thanks Brandon, I appreciate it!
Man that thing looks awesome Russ. I think you sold me on it! Great video as always!
It's a awesome piece of equipment! A lot of fun to use as well. Thanks for checking it out!
Really great video Russ. Going to look into one of those steamers. Cheers.
Thanks, I appreciate you checking it out! Hot as heck outside today, but we sure enjoyed the shrimp once we got back inside
Sir your food looks astounding
Can’t stop drooling
the weather looked miserable! Russ you are a champion ! finger lickin good shrimp right there my friend
Hey Russ they both look amazing. We’ve been boiling here in Atlanta as well. Try to stay cool. I’ve got to try this.
pickling seasoning Russ for the east coast style steam
OMG! Love it!
Rus that looked awesome, love that shrimp. I could eat a big mess of them. Pretty cool steamer !
Thanks for watching Ron, I appreciate it!
man i always get hungry watching your videos, been subscribed for a few years now. keep it up!
been telling you for years to steam some onions with your shrimp, the onions often taste as good as the shrimp. those boiled shrimp look real good
What boiled shrimp? LOL! They sure tasted just like boiled. I don't think anyone would know the difference. Yeah, they onions is a keeper. Made a big difference this go around Jimmy!
@@SmokyRibsBBQ sorry I meant the Cajun style
if only I could stomach seafood I'd be buying one of these. it looks awesome. maybe I'll just make one in all the spare time I don't have... Thanks for the video!
First I was sad because you made this delicious bath of great deliciousness seasoning just to steam the shrimp, then I was happy when I saw you soak those shrimp in that spicy liquid. I never tried steaming the shrimp but i have boiled a spicy batch and put the pot to the side and then boiled the shrimp and put them in the season cooled pot for half hour and they come out good.
Good afternoon Russ, thanks for the video they look great have a great day and try to stay cool Cheers from New York 👍🏻
Thanks Gary, I appreciate you checking the video out and commenting!
I loved watching u eat the shrimp I want some shrimp now u made it look so good I kept replaying it 😂
So good
It looka delicious
Never seen this kind of home cook before Russ. Thanks for sharing it. Crap! One more piece of equipment to buy lol.
It's real common on the east coast, and has become more popular here on the Gulf Coast. Many steamer restaurants in our area now, compared to what it use to be. We have always boiled shrimp and crabs
Yes sir bro they look great. I'm definitely use to the East Coast way. I've actually used my ENC sauce instead of just apple cider. Man they were some kind of good. Have a great week!
Thanks Scott, I appreciate it! I bet your sauce would be great in that steam! Cheers!
Hahaha, Russ, I love that thing, you always get the coolest gear. I've never been a big fan of steamed shrimp but I'm thinking of trying this method in the instant pot. Thanks for the idea brother.
Yeah, boiled is my preferred method for shrimp, but hey, these were actually pretty darn good steamed over those onions. Cheers Jaxx!
Jaxx Drinkwater how did the instant pot do ? I’m curious
Loved the video! Would love to see you use the new steamer to do some other veggies in future videos.
Thanks and you will be.
Good video.
Wow Rus, that steamer sounds like a beast ! Great looking shrimp !
For a small steamer, it truly is a beast and really a lot of fun to use. Thanks Kent, I sure appreciate you checking it out!
Smoky Ribs BBQ Being from the Midwest we don’t have a lot of seafood boils or steamers but I would love one of Those. Perfect for a small party or neighborhood feast M
111° in Mississippi? bloody hell! We're getting like 98° atm in Germany and I used to consider this hot.
Those welds are questionable
Looks like they used chewing gum!
That steamer is badd ass ! And man that Cajun shrimp looked good great job Russ
Thanks, I appreciate you checking it out!
Cool man.
Man that looks good Russ thanks have a great day be safe.
Thanks Matt, I appreciate it!
@@SmokyRibsBBQ My name is Brad.
Great video, that steamer seems to be awesome. So you know at some point you're going to have to do a video on the dipping sauces you mentioned, those sounded really good.
Thanks Robert, I appreciate you checking it out!
Thanks for the video. As a welder those welds are atrocious lol. Happy cooking
Yeah I'm a retired pipe welder, and when I got that in, I couldn't believe the shoddy quality of those welds, but the little steamer works great. I hope they have hired a real welder by now LOL
*Super YUMMY brother!*
Thanks, I appreciate you checking the video out!
Oh Hell to the yeah!!
That swamp water might make some good red beers.......... Bottle it. I love shrimp, this looks like a feast!
Those looked great. I'd love to have a couple dozen of those bad boys.
I figured I was gonna have a hard time finding shrimp with all the freshwater that came into the Gulf from all the flooding up north, but I scored some pretty good size ones. Thanks for watching Russ, I appreciate it brother!
I might have to get me one of those steamers.
I'm loving it!
Great video. Tunnel Tube needs to hire a better welder. 🤦🏼♂️
oh man cajun is the way to go but I like the Old Bay seasoning too- Try Chef Paul's BBQ shrimp recipe - it's killer
Woah woah woah how did I miss this video?!
Great video..not sure who got steamed more..you or the shrimp..lol. I've been down that way in the summer..so I know what y'all going thru !
Thanks and man yeah, it's like a steam bath outside! Just plain miserable to be out in it!
Great little steamer, but the welding was not real good. thanks for the excellent video's.
Well, when the owner reads these comments, maybe he will hire a better welder LOL! No leaks though ;)
I agree the welding didn't look that great but its an outside cookers and most of them aren't pretty..lol
Mike: No excuse for welds that bad.
I always enjoy watching your videos, Rus. Great instruction and pace. I am not a big seafood guy but you always make it looks so delicious. Cheers, brother! 🍻
Thanks for checking it out Mike! I was raised on the coast so seafood has been a big part of life down here, and I can't ever seem to get enough of it. Cheers!
Hi from New zealand 🙌 just subscribed & hit that bell aswell 👏
Hi and thanks for subscribing!
Do a video of you making a BLT and a Cuban sandwich but Combined
Hard to beat some good steamed shrimp
You're living in heaven.
Russ, have you done a crawfish boil on there?? Were the shrimp cold when they went in?? I love the cajun stuff man!!
I've done plenty of crawfish boils in the big pots, but the capacity of this steamer really wouldn't do that many at one time. I usually boil about 35 pounds of crawfish at one time. Yes, the shrimp had just came out of ice and were very cold. Pretty impressive how fast they steamed. I actually could have pulled them off after 2.5 minutes.
Never let them see you sweat lol. Shrimp look great!
Kinda hard not to in this heat! Started sweating the minute I walked outside!
@@SmokyRibsBBQ I know what MS heat is like. I usually visit Aug-Oct. God Bless you sir.
Old Bay is some great seasoning, looks pretty tasty Russ! Cheers!
Thanks, I appreciate you checking it out! Cheers!
Hi Russ I am going to try your bacon curing recipe do I really need to use the sodium nitrite or can I just use my Kosher rock salt? Sincerely Clarke Moore
Kosher rock salt is not sodium nitrite. If you have a Academy Sports you can find the sodium nitrite there if not Amazon carries it. It’s not real bacon without it and won’t taste like bacon without and unsafe to cold smoke without it, so yes, you absolutely need sodium nitrite. The brand I used is Prague powder #1
Russ, I'm sure you have a wonderful shrimp scampi! Could you lead me to that recipe, thanks.
Who the he'll welded that thing together!🤣
Not me, lol 😂
Looks delicious russ and hey russ have you ever done blackened shrimp before it is delicious and again rus awesome video
Thanks, and yes, I have done blacken shrimp, as well as redfish, tuna, and steaks.
New sub in Gulfport
Thanks for subscribing!
Corner welds could use some practice
Bubba needs to up his weld game
Rus,after watching this,i have to ask, could steamers like this replace rocket pots or no?
This is not near the capacity of my larger pots, but is perfect for the family.
I just want a thermos of the liquid..damn looks good man
LOL, thanks Bubba! I appreciate you checking it out!
Atta Boy Russ!
Interesting
Rus do you know if that steamer is still available?
Todd emailed me today and said they are now on the highperformancecookers.com website
Is this the 28 qt steamer?
Great video, I live in the uk 🇬🇧 do you know if they ship to England ? . Been following you for about eighteen months now and love your channel.......all the best....Doug
Thank you! You would have to contact the company. I don't know where all they ship to. Glad you enjoy my videos and thanks again!
Do you have any discount codes for the steamer? I'm looking for a new steamer but I need to be able to do at least a bushel of crabs and 6 - 8 ears of corn in a single cook. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Check out the pot in my last video (crawfish boil). It's a 120 quart boiling and steaming pot
no discount codes
Its been said before but that welding......that is something else, didnt leak but wow those are haunting
where can you find the tunel tube steamer
I have a link below the video in the video description area
WOWWW it's roaring sounds like a lion.....whoa take it easy Mufasa.😂😂😂
