My very first "45" was "Shop Around" for my 12th birthday. At that time or soon after I believe that he was Vice President of Motown and he wrote many of the songs for many of the other Motown Artist and had the voice of an Angel. I've always been a fan. I'm am so happy for you Smokey.!!!
