this game had so much potential! I had so much fun playing it but the endgame content was lacking, i wish they would of done more with it and I'd still be playing it.
I remember how great this game felt. The combat and the suits felt fairly well polished. The environments could have used some work to really capitalize on the movement, but nothing could save a game from a lack of stuff to do
It is a real and absolute shame that the developers got away with lying to us all about the gameplay. Showing us an incredible "in game" demo walking through the base of operations, which was filled with NPCs walking around, talking, working etc. It felt so immersive. Then the actual game came out and all of that was flat out false and bullshit. Not to mentioned their overpriced bullshit on the store.
Anthem should really be an example to the gaming community. Look at what could have been. Instead, we used consistent negativity to kill this game's chances. To be fair, im not saying it shouldn't have released in a better state. I'm just saying we should have gave them the opportunity to fix it.
It's a fun game wish more players played but it's fun to be flying around and seeing random players soloing hordes and jumping in and helping them always worth playing still here and there
This game was great, but due to the lack of content from the developer, multiple bugs that hurt the gameplay, and the developer quitting the game it was left in a bad shape. This game could have been a long play game but nooooooo they ruined it instead.
This game could have been the next big thing w this concept, somebody w some money pick this up, who wouldn’t want to be IronMan?? And on that note, where’s the GTA but in a Invincible type world, that would dope
My favorite combat game... Never has a video game given me such a feeling. I felt like I was one with my character and my keyboard/controls. It was amazing!

If there could just be another game that could perfect the flying the way this game did. This is why Anthem was fun at it's core. The pure flying mechanics that just felt really damn good and I'm afraid we'll just never get that probably. This was such a great game that was killed by the whiny looter shooter players and devs that were under pressure from incompetent upper management/shareholders. The framework and world were all great. Gameplay superb and unlike anything else that came before or since. Story could've been better but the lore was excellent. It just shouldn't have been a grindy looter shooter. A massive sprawling rpg like mass effect, only multiplayer. It didn't need lame rng loot drops and massive focus on grinding gear. Players whining about drop rates brought bad PR, split dev focus and killed their story content roadmap. Such a shame, but a valuable lesson for any devs that might listen.
Micro transactions…not much end game content, getting specific loot, especially legendaries were impossible to get. It was all just random loot. It was a fun game. I really like this style of game, but eventually as people left so did I. I miss my ranger.
It has an interesting world. My favorite combat of all shooters, cool classes, cool skills, beautiful world. But, the game had almost no support, events weren't meaningful or rewarding, the content roadmap was killed. Microtransactions weren't that bad, to be honest, as long as you had friends playing you gained a good amount of coins to buy cash stuff. They switched the full-of-promises roadmap for the seasonal system, it didn't work, then announced and killed Anthem Next right after.
