Love your videos!! Clear, simple and so practical. I've learned more from a couple of your videos than I have spending hours reading through websites or watching "This is isn't a get rich scheme about how to start your business" videos
You had me at “Hello”. I am a current realtor, college professor teaching business, business owner & future lawyer. I enjoyed the way you presented and covered an overview of business entity. Thank you.
Thanks for giving me my second opinion; today, you’ve should me who’s for me and against. Anyone who advises you to do business without protection isn’t right. Thank you so much for your help, it’s appreciated...I wasted four years on a purposeful business and movement by a organization or person who was retaliating against me that had a stronger connection because they were a government employee. I’m lucky to have learned to research consistently. Your Awesome!
Had an epiphany the other day of finally starting my roots for my Swim Business & went straight to research and study on all these structures. This was the FIRST video I found on the basics to LLC, SP, etc. and my name is Daniel! Haha Thank you for presenting this information so eloquently - you were very easy to understand !
Thank you so much again... I’ve watched several videos and I feel very reassured in how my sole proprietorship works and should operate. I appreciate you!
Your videos are very informative for people like me that are starting up a new business and need to be schooled on business types and what needs to be done. Thanks!
Thank you, Aiden! :D I just found your UA-cam post by accident. I'm very impressed with how you explain everything simply and it's easy to follow. I immediately subscribed to your UA-cam Channel and hit the bell notifications button. I have a lot of catching up to do so I will be viewing all of your pertinent videos for my business decisions. Keep up the great work! I really appreciate it!
I spoke with an attorney who told me that, not only would forming an LLC cost me $800 annually in California, but it would costs thousands to get properly set up, and he did not recommend doing it on my own. I'm not sure who I can trust.
@@adalgissarodriguez7026 I went with a sole proprietorship. I will upgrade to an LLC once I reach a certain size. Otherwise, if I move to a different state, then starting an LLC will be no big deal and I'll do it.
Wow thank for your channel =) this is a huge resource! I have been tasked with forming a separate company to manage a function within the building I work, and had NO idea about any processes involved.
Thank you. Your summary comparison of three types of businesses was brief but very informative. Just what I was looking for. Also, I enjoyed the way you presented the information. :)
Thank you so much for that information! I was struggling to decide between these and now I feel more confident in what to choose. I appreciate your videos very much!
wow. you are pretty smart! i thank you very much for your knowledge and insight! You have addressed the difference between three different business entities within eight minutes and would have probably taken me hours upon hours of research. thank you thank you thank you.
I’m really glad that I’ve found you! You just answered everything I was wondering. I’m looking to start a business and this is very helpful! I really enjoyed how you explain it and made it so easy to understand. Thank you very much for this info! You just got another faithful subscriber! I will be checking out more of your videos!
Just an awesome lecture! I've learned so much with you Dr Aiden Kramer! It is so bad that you're not in Georgia, I would use your services for sure (well, I am through your videos though...!!!) Thank you so much!!!
So in Florida right now , it is illegal to start LLC either S or C corporation and be self proprietor, one member, one person corporation. If you are a self proprietor you only choice is Inc. corporation.
My tax preparer suggested me to choose S-corp but I don't think the first year I'll make a lot of money to the point to afford the extra cost of being a S corp like booking, meetings and other necessaries details . So, I feel that the tax money I would be saving being S corp would go other expenses and not to my pocket.
Are you the actress who played the empress in Never Ending Story? Serious question. Also, great info, great video. This is the third I have watched of yours ( and you looked familiar to me).
Love the Video and your Rapid Fire Delivery of Great Information. I'm a new subscriber and a first timer to your videos. I'm putting together a comparison of a S-corp, C-corp, LLC & a Sole P for a financial presentation. I was taking notes on this video and had to slow the speed of your video down 0.5 so my note taking can keep up, Lol.. I also noticed you take the time to answer questions below and I think that is very cool of you! So perhaps you can help answer this question for me. What are the benefits and tax advantages of having a C-corp and utilizing a Corporate owned life insurance aka COLI? Do you have to have a C-Corp to have a COLI or can an S-Corp have a Coli? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much Aiden and keep up the great work!
I am a sole proprietor with 5 employees. Already have a DBA and EIN and I'm thinking of forming an LLC. A couple questions: My business is an on-the-road service, and the "per mile" deduction is "YUGE" so I'm not willing to give that up. I know a corporation must deduct actual vehicle expenses. What about an LLC? Will I have to "reregister" my DBA? Will I need a new EIN? Will I need new bank accounts? Will I have to "fire" my employees as a sole proprietor, then rehire them as an LLC? Will my existing agreements with merchant services, phone companies, etc still be in effect? (For example I have a sweet deal with the phone company, locked in for life. If I have to negotiate as a new entity I'll lose that.) Will I have to formally add myself to payroll, deducting taxes as I already do with other employees? (If so, doesn't that mean I'd have to file separate taxes for the LLC?)
I want to open a children's boutique online and was going get a LLC but after watching this video thinking of a sole proprietorship which is better to get

if i register myself and business as a sole proprietorship and then eventually want to re register as an LLC, is that an easy task? and will my name still be trademarked?
It's usually as easy as getting the paperwork going. I would highly recommend talking to a tax professional like myself or one you trust to decide what will be you best tax entity of choice.
I just found your page and the information is extremely helpful. I just started a sole prop but it looks like I may need to change to an LLC. Is there a way to transfer or change a sole prop into an LLC or would it just have to be started over completely brand new?
How do we make. a company as a owner and reduce as much as possible any liability for board members and instead give us as much if not all liablity on a owner
Carol Lee In general, you will first need to create the LLC by filing Articles of Organization with the Secretary of State (or whatever agency controls business entities in your state, it may have a different name), draft any necessary internal documents for the LLC (e.g. Operating Agreement, organizational resolution, etc.) and any additional documents that your state may require, then file IRS Form 2553 to elect the S Corp tax status. Thanks for the great question!

If I'm starting a cleaning business with my mom and dad, we're all funding the business, we're all equal partners, should this be an LLC, or a C-Corp?
What if you’re a sole proprietor and insured/bonded? Doesn’t that protect you enough?

I️ think your awesome! Keep up the great advice
How does business credit work with each of these?
what option would be best for a butchery
Wow thanks for the info, looks like I’m 4 years late but still helps
It's sounds like LLC is the best option of the 3. Why would someone choose a C-Corp over LLC when there's the double tax?
Is there a fee associated with Sole Proprietorship?
No you can literally just start doing business and you'll be a sole proprietor
that was so helpful! THANK YOU!!

In a basic order, what steps should be followed, starting from ground zero, in forming an LLC as an S-Corporation?
