Am understanding everything from the beginning, no repetitions, I’ve understood what could have taken me the whole semester.😳😳 thank you so much. Much love ❤️
Seriously awesome lecture mam. I am structural engineer and I never saw any one explaining the concept this easy. It was very effective. Mean while it would be good if u explain calculation of steel for this aswell. Thanku
Hi, hope you doing well. first thing you did not include the factor in columns. and you also include the factor in total load of building. plz clear that. i will be very thankful to you.
If the soil is densed then it will raft/ mat foundation. But, if the soil is not densed/ Disturbed soil then ground slab & Deep foundation, both are necessary
mam , you have a video uploaded on 6 jan , 2018 on load distribution from slabs to beam with the same structure, can we use the reactions around column C6 + Loads from the walls and calculate the axial load on coloumn?
base on above lecture ultimate axial load (1754 kn) apply column formula i am getting column size 400mm x 400mm instead 300mm x 300mm please correct me madam thanks for your detail explanation
How is it related to your other video in which you were cited how to find the load in columns using slab wt. undergoing one way and two way and beam..because the plan you presented here now is the same with the previous video..and the same finding load on columns..
Mam we are calculating the load on column in this video but in the previous video of transfer of load of slabs to beam we are finding the support reactions. If we are calculating the load of column like this , then why to find support reactions
Heartily Thank you for this video upload more video about structure solution & strip footing also where both side should be property line & wish you a very very happy DIPAWALI .......
while designing footing / sizing the footing we take load from column as working load ( actual load coming on footing, and not factored load ) . The SBC of soil is actually 800 Kn/m2 but the soil consultant ( Geo tech Engineer ) will apply factor of safety around 3 -4 times, so 800/ 4= 200 kn/m2 . so sbc what we get in text book all are factored sbc like 180 or 200 Kn/m2. Since SBC is already factored we take load from column as service load or unfactored load ( say 1169Kn from above example). If you take column load as factored ( 1754 Kn ) then we are over designing our footing and it will add more cost to it. Hope i have cleared your doubt!!
You have managed to make understanding structural load calculation.
YOU SHOULD TEACH!! People like me need you. Excellent.
Thank you so much.
What we haven't understood in whole semester u just took 21 minutes. Awesome. 😘

Hi, hope you doing well. first thing you did not include the factor in columns. and you also include the factor in total load of building. plz clear that. i will be very thankful to you.
Love ur content & Appreciate ur efforts
plz upload the videos on consistency
Great work.. I am really happy by the concept. Thank you.
How to make the highlight area if the beams are of irregular lengths on all 4 sides (ex: the left beam is in diagonal shape)
Nice & Clear explanation madam
Thanks for the explanation,my question is if we have Raft foundation at level of ground.does the raft is considered the ground slab?
If the soil is densed then it will raft/ mat foundation. But, if the soil is not densed/ Disturbed soil then ground slab & Deep foundation, both are necessary
Vielen Dank ......ich drücke dir die Daumen...... aus Nürnberg
Hi.
Floor finish load on roof slab and also taking water proofing load both are same ????
Only you can take water proofing load on trace floor
Great ma'am... Thanks a lot.... Please make more
Nice explanation. Very useful. Thank you.
Nice column load calculation subscribed
Very well explained with complete clarity ...
Awesome mam Keep going good work...
where to did you find from those working load on column the 1169 kn???
Total axial load on column 1754 divided by 1.5 factor of safety gives us the total working load of 1169 kN
What is the load bearing capacity of 9x9 column assuming 6 12 tmt used in columns for m 20. How many tonnes it can carry
Excellent presentation. Thank you.
Please prepare a video for pile cap design
Thank you mam for cleared my all doubts related on load bearing concept
Is there any codal recommendations for the axial load allowance of column due to bending ?
amazing explanation,,,,, really admirable,,,, keep it up,,,,,,
mam , you have a video uploaded on 6 jan , 2018 on load distribution from slabs to beam with the same structure, can we use the reactions around column C6 + Loads from the walls and calculate the axial load on coloumn?
Thank you mam ..... This was very much helpful
Superb excellent presentation
why it is necessary use the working load? As we can see we will get the small sizes different if we use Factored load.
which book should i refer for this type of numerical example?
Nice piece of information
Awesome explaination mam 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
06.30 where we will find these data in IS456?
19.48 we where we will find the data to add the increment in codebook? @cwill structures
The load distribution of slab is trapezoidal and triangle as far i know but u took as square. Can u plz clarify?
Keep it up
Sharing is caring.

Very useful video mam thank youuuu
very good explanation.
base on above lecture ultimate axial load (1754 kn) apply column formula

m so happy and excited to watch this
What is the Working load..Is it assumed Value ?? and the Density of the masonry is taken as 20KN/m3,is it in IS code ?
In case of roof slab, u took wall loads..but there wont be any walls on roof slab only parapet walls will b der right...???
Very Useful video thank you .
Very impressive video.. I have seen many times ⏲️. It's too Good.. and ur voice clearlty also
Madam, thank you very much.
Is it not required to consider factored load while calculating self weight of column ? Please, do reply.
Really honoured to your excellence.
Mam, I have 2 doubts.
1st.
Did Column load not be convert into factored load??
2nd
is the same procedure for ecentric column??
Aap ko answer mila kya
Thank you for giving knowledge ,
hi can someone explain it to me where did she get that 2.535718m @ 21:14 minutes of the video.

Really amazing..
Excellent.
Bar for columns are in L bend shape
And are provided out direction
But why it is provided inward direction in case of rcc wall
why self weight of column of 117 KN is considered again at the end. PLS ELABORATE. Pls let us know eccentricity value of 10% is in which IS code
You did not considered f.o.s as 1.5 buy end if the calculation to take working load divided with 1.5 may i know the reason for this ?
C11 has B14 and B17 on either side. Will C11 carry the load of B14 or B17 please answer
Why slab load is not calculated using triangular and trapezoidal load of individual slab ..and that load will be transfered to beams ???
How to determine depth of this foundation of what you have calculated ma'am. Thank you
Very good explanation...
Awesome👍👏
what is 117 on the load on footing?
An excellent job.
During calculation of self of column why don't you take the dimension of slab i.e length and breadth of the slab? Only taking thickness of the slab?
Really good explanation mam thank you mam
Thank u sir
Now i understande the compression &tension zone in beam.....
You don't understand
In which code book this method is mentioned.?? Any references for this method?
Hello mam you may not consider steel load in dead load
Mam full building area load how to find tell mam
Thanks so much madam Well explanation
why didnt you count weights of slab on grade beam ???? in graound floor weights wall and etc..???
When you calculated the footing size , what is working load I can't understand . Can please describe me
while designing footing / sizing the footing we take load from column as working load ( actual load coming on footing, and not factored load ) .
I understood , thank you sir
Awesome explaination
Should the load of the Columns be added with the load of 2nd floor ?
How can we deside the column sizes and it's load calculate
Here 2.4m from footing base to plith level is consider how?
How did you get the factor load ?, of wall, factored load total and factor load of beam
Thanks for giving important information
