- I hope you have had fun with pages 1 and 2. Here are the next 2 pages for you to create. Again keep your based colour in some form be that fabric, thread of something on your tag(mine is grey) and then add some different colours.
Pocket and kisses are the theme for these pages. Creating a pocket to display your own tag and the kisses are fabric crosses and adding cross stitch.
Just to answer some questions about the book
The pages are created out of 2 pieces of cotton wadding 6 inch by 12 inch. These 'signatures' are then stitched together and I put 4 sets of two together using a blanket stitch.
We will be making a cover for the book at the end of the project, just in case I want to add further pages if I get too addicted to the project.
Have fun and happy stitching
Anne
Its a lovely piece i enjoy listening to you explain the way ypur puting this book together and the stitches
Im just making a square all japanese fabrics and using sashiko stitches
Im finding it hard going as I like things neat lol
Im trying to change and Im actually good at crooked stitches😁
Thank you
🇦🇺🌺❤️
What kind of threads are you using for slow stitching in the blue and grey that you had on your desk above your book? Where do you purchase them from?
They are finca perle threads from Gina silkworks
Ok now I need to try this
Must say i have taken to stitching like this on my favorite house mouse pants that are well worn, soft & comfortable, here & there, all higgledy piggledy. I patched one hole, then another - with a soft undershirt that was too small for me. bits & pieces, lace edging included. I am (don't laugh) so proud of them. Can still wear them, put them in anet bag to launder them. Wearable art, I feel. NOT for a museum.
Beautiful. And love your sewing corner outside. So pretty! TFS!
Love it too, but it has been raining so sewing inside
his approach is creative or too supportive of each other, thank you very much.
What brand of silk thread do you use?
sorry don't know its name, I get it from Airedale textiles xx

I loved doing them, love a pocket
Hi Anne: I found this project a year late but just love it so I’ll start now. Is there a video or instructions for the batting pages? What are the dimensions? How are they sewn together? Thanks for your lovely projects and encouragement.
All in the 2nd video xx
I have an inner compliment, Anne......when I an totally tickled by watching and doing...."she is making me crazy" and you are. Bunches of thanks and smiles, Carol
Thanks xxx I feel little crazy sometimes too xx
Very inspiring Anne - love the way you use your fabrics and stitches to create so much interest! I have enjoyed both your videos and have finished pages 1&2 - so off to do 3&4 now..... Thanks!
This challenge is totally absorbing me !! Loving it !! The greatest distraction in these troubled times 💕 Is there one place to see ‘posted’ pages to see all the different completed ones ??
Your Stitches are amazing💖
So excited to see the next pages in the book. Thanks for inspiring me. Now to get creating my own. 🤗🇨🇦💕
Great xx
It is always inspiring watching you stitch Anne, really enjoying this new take on Sew4theSoul... Tfs hugs Susanna xx 😊❤🧵🧶
Thanks xx
I just started and am still on the first one. Thank you for sharing this amazing book of slow stitching. Is there a place to see a picture your finished book? I've never done anything like this and am following some of your page examples. Thanks again!
Not finished it yet ,it is a work in progress and you will see each set of pages as I am doing them xx
I am sometimes overwhelmed by Textile Art. I don’t have an inborn artistic talent but love to stitch and try to be creative. Watching your videos has shown me it is all about asking the right questions and experimenting before making a decision and the process is just as important as the finished piece. This has helped me in my own journey and I am enormously grateful. Thank you so much.
There are no rules just enjoy playing xxxx

@@joanneguarnaccia7133 sorry- I don’t understand what the initials stand for in both your replies.
Lovely tag, pocket, & 2 pages!! Look forward to doing mine. Have a great day🐬xx
You too
Love this. I idea with a pocket and fabric tag. I love the variance in sizes also. Thanks for sharing
I love pocket xx
Your book is coming out so beautiful! I wish there were somewhere near me that I could find some of the bits and pieces to add to my book! We used to have some vintage stores around but they have all closed. Love these two pages! I'm behind but will catch up soon! TFS!
go to second hand stores--you'll find all so nice
I just love watching your tutorials. I find them so inspiring and relaxing, as well. I wish I could take one of your classes, but that would mean I'd have to leave South Florida, USA and move to England. I don't think my husband and adult sons would approve. Thank you for sharing all of your creations. I'm on my second spool snippet. You are correct, it is addictive.
I love this
I am in love with your pages and was so excited to see a pocket and tag 😃😃
😘
It sure does keep you sane! Coming late to the project, just starting pages 3&4 now. Thanks for sharing Anne.
