- I visited the Ensenada Cruise Port on 4/16/23 while on a Carnival Radiance 3-day cruise. If you are looking for some things to do in the port of Ensenada, this video shows me walking around town and sharing information about things to do and places to visit near the port and in the downtown area.

I like your honest videos also. The churros that you got looked great. How long is the walk from ship to downtown? Yeah, the port looks pretty suspect, way different then Cozumel. You also mentioned a message place, do they do foot massage?

My take a cruise out of California to either Cabo , Ensenada or Catalina, Ensenada.
I do like Cabo.
The walk depends on your walking ability and speed. I have been told I tend to be a "fast walker". It takes me around 15 minutes to get to the heart of downtown from the ship. The massage place, Massage and Facial Care, includes a foot massage in your regular massage. Were you looking for just a foot massage? I do have a Catalina video where we rented a golf cart. Is that place closeby where the ship’s gonna park? I’m unsure if i wanna buy tour packages or just chill and walk around here with fam 😁
Yes, the boardwalk is a short walk from the pier. The downtown area is also a short walk, but they have $4 shuttles that will drop you off as well (if you don’t want to walk)
What ID do I need when I get off the ship in Ensenada to come back just my California ID plus my boarding pass?
US government issued ID and your Carnival Sail and Sign card
Is there a place near the flag pole that sells Ensenada t-shirts and magnets? My tour get back at 2:30pm and I think I have an hour to shop before I get back on the Radiance in September.
There are places down the boardwalk there that sell that stuff, but you would also have time to go downtown and shop and still be back on the ship in time.
My kids and I are definitely running in the water show if it’s hot this weekend.

From your own personal experience….is it better to just walk around yourself and use the $4 shuttle service? Or would you pay for a tour? I’m thinking of a tour that basically just takes you to the places that invented the margarita and some taco place….is it really worth $140?
Personally, I would not pay $140 for that tour. Those places are all close to the downtown area and you could walk to them from the shuttle drop off areas. Where is the best street tacos located in Ensenada?
There are a few different places that people really like, my favorite is Taco Movil which is right across the street from the McDonalds there in downtown. Tacos Fenix has great fish and shrimp tacos, but you would need to take a taxi or Uber to it.

The weather in ensenada is bipolar I used to drive down there all the time but this time we are going on the radiance hopefully everything comes out good for a good review thanks for sharing my man

What a good price for all of those churros! I'll have to check it out this summer! I didn't think you could take those back to the ship with you. Last January I had leftover churros and on my way back to the ship, security confiscated my churros from my bag and I couldn't understand why. I wanted to have some with ice cream on the ship 😅
Yeah, definitely a good price and they were yummy! That's odd that the churros were confiscated. I have brought them on a few times. Heck, I have brought leftover tacos on with me before. I guess it depends on the security person. Technically, the rules say you cant, but I figured they were going to get wasted either way (if they were to throw them away), so why not try to bring them on.

I enjoy washing your videos since I cruise mostly off the West Coast. It shows me what has changed in a different port. I will be cruising in the future with someone in a wheelchair. I was wondering if you could post information about the the wheelchair rental in Long Beach. And possibly disability rooms onboard cargo ships.

Oh the water fountain/spout looked cool. Next time we’re in Ensenada we’ll have to check it out!
I just found this out recently, but the hours for the fountains are 12 - 2 PM and 7 - 9 PM Tuesday through Sunday.
Just a tip edit your videos watch Norma Gili she’s great at editing also don’t build a location up and not know where it is
Point taken on the build up. I really thought I would find it. Lesson learned. I was going to edit it out, but I was sharing other information as well, so decided to keep it in. I don't who Norma is, but I prefer not to do a bunch of B Roll and unnecessary footage with music overlay that I know I fast forward through (and others have told me they do the same). If there is something specific you are suggesting, like the build up, I am all ears.

That’s crazy you still go on this cruise. I was watching you last year when I was getting ready to go on that ship. Now we’re about to go on the Royal Caribbean wonder of the seas. I was pretty disappointed with the radiance and carnival in general. It might be due to the ports not having beautiful turquoise water and the ship seemed pretty ghetto to be honest
The whole ship smelled like either piss or weed. And no shows due to safety protocols like COVID is over how you still getting sick? Not a good look. Good video as always tho my friend
I do this cruise out of convenience. That Friday - Monday schedule works perfectly with my work schedule (that gives me one Friday off a month). Yeah, if you are looking for that beautiful turquoise water, the Pacific Ocean is not it. 😀 I would love to be able to cruise on the Atlantic side regularly, but unfortunately it's not an option. The Radiance 3-day cruises are definitely a booze cruise and draw the party crowd.
The weed smell has gone down dramatically since they brought in the drug dogs! I am very happy for that myself. It was starting to become as bad as Vegas in that regard. Things are definitely back to normal in regards to safety protocols, so that's a good thing. Thanks for watching and staying connected. Happy Cruising my friend!

The boardwalk was awesome we were out there for a couple hours those boats for some reason, show the locals around carnival radiance ship
