Finally! After almost 10 years of asking for it and with Marshall's perspective course basically becoming a meme on the channel, we're finally going to be able to learn from him. I had already lost hope.
And with that said, now that we're finally going to have Marshall and we're not settling for anything less, it's time to start dreaming of a free coloring course for proko-level artists

i really must say, the copywriting here is excellent! good writing in ads is a lost art.. that that hasn’t been lost here. the writing here is very reminiscent of pamphlets you would find 50 years ago. back then, ads for courses were written to explain and make people feel empowered, these days ads for courses focus on making you feel bad/stupid- but not this one!
again, the writers did a really good job on this one!

I didn't think I would enjoy a video about a perspective course so much. That animation story had me laughing. I was on the fence about pre-ordering this since I just started the Drawing Basics course, but now think I'm ready to pull the trigger and pre-order the full course.
This course is more packed with animations and side gags than almost any other course of ours. If you liked the pacing of this video, the course is VERY similar (just packed with more information).

The course is all comprised of pre-recorded lessons. It will be available as long as Proko exists.

How much of this course will be posted here? Will it be like the drawing basics course where the majority of the lessons will be posted except for all of the projects and critiques?
We'll share free lessons from it but it will be less than Drawing Basics. Still a good amount shared here on UA-cam, though.

Is this course something that is done on your own time or more along the lines of an actual university or college course that requires certain parts to be done at specific times?
You can do all of our courses at your own pace. The only thing that can change the timeline for you doing the assignments is that you can submit your work to be included in the video critiques that will live on as part of the course.
That isn't required but some students like having that. You can still get critiques on work submitted for assignments even after those video critiques are released, though. It just won't be in said videos.

Hi Proko is that the same course that he did ,back then , with the 12 lessons? I'm asking because i already have this first one.
This is a much more in depth course, with TONS more lessons.
Marshall's old whiteboard lecture course is packed with information. But this just has more focused examples, diagrams, and demos. Both from Marshall and other perspective pros.
It's a much more in-depth course with additional sections to help explain the concepts and keep your learning mind engaged.

Is this course useful for people who already bought the 1994 Perspective Series from Marshall?
I mean....if there are many assignments attached to the course it could be a huge help for me, also will there be english subtitles available once the full course goes online? I'm deaf so I need subtitles^^
And if I decide to purchase the course - do I need to have an account at the Proko Website, or is there a way to purchase as a guest and always have access to the paid course?
You'll need a Proko account. They're free to make and we don't ruin your inbox with emails or anything. The account allows you to submit assignments and interact with Marshall and other students as you progress through the course (if you want that).
During our recent Livestream with Marshall, he said that this was much more in depth than his old course. There are tons of visual aids, more focused additional information and more that just couldn't be included or happen naturally in those videos, as they were essentially a lecture with one camera pointed at him and a whiteboard from far away.
They're still packed with great information but Marshall has been waiting to be able to revisit the topic in greater depth as he's done here.

Does this build on anything from marshall gumroad course?
Those old recordings are still great! But his new course is much more in depth, with more examples, demos, a better view on the demos and more additional segments to keep your learning brain going, along with guest demos from other perspective art legends like Peter Han and Rembert Montald, to name just a couple.
Both are great and hold a ton of wisdom, but this new one is more in-depth, higher quality and made with the knowledge of what that past course was missing.

My question is how do we draw complicated objects in perspective?
It's finally here! But saying 'October' gives our lovable rogue Marshall too much wriggle room. "Indeed it will be available from October ~cough~2040 and part two will be sometime later~cough~ although, maybe I should wait until this cough clears up..." Pin down his X,Y, and Z 😂
One request (as it's a super long course) is for Marshall to cover using multiple vanishing points to simulate looking through two eyes (as described in the book the Noble Approach). Pretty sure he'll cover it, I have faith in him 😎
