Just recieved my 300. The action was way too low when it arrived but after adjusting it sounds impressive with tons of sustain for a beginner level bass.
Why does EVERY video for this bass sound like nothing but buzz? I am guessing that if you buy an Ibanez the first order of business would be a fret leveling.

Is the string rattling normal?
Yes specifically to round wound strings.
Once I got it set up it was fine
